Needed a tire replaced. Service center had the vehicle overnight, during which a window was broken and items were stolen from the car. Front desk employee was very apologetic, but corporate offices refused to do anything to make the situation right, and a $100 tire repair turned into a $500+ glass and auto body fix. Can't recommend using this place, as vehicle will not be safe and company will not do anything to make the situation right.

Went in for a flat at 6 pm (they close at 7pm). They turned me away and said they were done for the night. Didn’t even offer to service my car in the morning. There’s a reason why the reviews for this location are low. Go to the one on Erdman. They will actually care there.

This incident happened today, 7/08/25, around 3:30 PM. I was completely scammed after returning because the tire they “fixed” deflated again. I never asked them to play their CCTV for me—but I’m now calling on them to show the footage publicly so people can see exactly what happened. The way I was treated was unfair and intimidating. It’s heartbreaking to be taken advantage of like this, especially when you come in seeking help. I strongly warn others to avoid this place. Black people for that matter

On June 10, 2024, I sought out this location based on the positive reviews. However, I'm saddened by the treatment received at this location. I arrived to have my tire repaired. The gentleman who assisted me returned to inform me that two fist-size bubbles appeared after the repair. He said I would have to get a new tire, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, they did not have a tire and he still wanted to charge me for the repair. I disagreed. I asked to speak with the manager. He told me that he was the manager. I then asked to speak with someone above him. He reached for his cell phone and walked out to the parking lot. When he came back, he told me that his technician needed to get paid, and we could work something out. I disagreed with his solution. I asked if he could put my spare tire on. He said he would have to charge me. I told him I could put on the spare myself or call AAA. He told me that I nor AAA can do this on their property. Befuddled, I couldn't understand how I was supposed to get the spare installed, other than paying him. He then went to the garage. Another man walked in and sat at the counter. I then made multiple calls to different dealerships, to find a tire. I then asked the guy at the counter to whom I could speak with regarding my issue. After I explained my concerns, he told me he was the senior technician, and they weren't going to go back and forth with this, and I could leave. So, they put my bubbled tire back on my car and I drove off. As I was driving, I noticed that they over-inflated my tire. Needless to say, my tire blew and sent me flying across two lanes. I had to call AAA and have my car towed to the dealership. I don't know how to reach anyone who can hold these two guys accountable and responsible for sending me off with a hazardous tire. Later I learned that the tire he tried to repair was a Run Flat Tire. To which he should have never repaired. If he is in the tire business, should he have noticed that this was a Run Flat Tire? Anyway, I'm glad I'm safe and that AAA came to my rescue.

Overcharges and not good for women to go who does have a male in their life. if you want to call or get feedback from them, they don’t like that. Went across the street and was charged wayyyyy less than what they wanted. Looked online no one charges that much. Felt like a rip off.

Went out of there way to get the part we needed to fix the issue with the brakes the same day. I came to them on Sunday 12/7 to fix my tires. They say they can fix it for almost 1400. I got new tires but they didn’t tell me about the rod situation or wheel ligament damage after they brought my tires. So I still needed to work on my tires. If I gave them more money then I would have spent $2,000 where I could have just gotten new car. They didn’t tell me nothing important or try to help any way. I will never go to them again!!! Wasted money and my time! Don’t go here ever again!

Please avoid this place at all costs. They take advantage of the consumer and over charge. I was charged $80 in miscellaneous labor fees to mount one tire & rim, and they refused to provide me a breakdown for that cost of labor. They also said it would only be $60 if I paid in cash which I did not have cash, so they are not trustworthy. It also took over 2 hours for them to mount the tire.

I went to Mr. Tire to have my car serviced on Monday, November 24, for an oil change, brake replacement, and rotor replacement. When I arrived, I was told they did not have the oil needed for my car and was instructed to go to the auto parts store next door to purchase it myself. I did so and brought back the oil they recommended. While there, I decided to also replace my brake pads and rotors, as they were due. Again, I was told they did not have the necessary parts and was sent to the auto parts store next door. The store had the rotors but not the brake pads, so I purchased the rotors there and then went to the dealership to buy the brake pads. Mr. Tire then completed the service. Two days later, I began hearing a loud whistling noise whenever I lightly pressed or released the brakes. This noise had never occurred before the service. Initially, I assumed it might be the brakes adjusting, but the sound continued and is still present. I returned to Mr. Tire on two separate occasions to have this issue addressed. Both times, I was told there was nothing wrong after they test drove the vehicle and claimed they could not hear the noise. I later sent videos clearly capturing the sound, yet no meaningful action was taken. Additionally, the mechanic who worked on my car was very unprofessional and had such an attitude that I chose to stop communicating with him altogether. The manager initially stated they would work toward providing a refund, but I am now being told they need to “check with their boss” before anything can be done. On top of this, after my oil change, my car indicated that the coolant and windshield washer fluid needed to be checked or refilled. From my understanding, these are basic items typically addressed during routine service. Only after returning to complain about the brake noise was I told that they have been out of windshield washer fluid for the past three months—information that was never communicated to me at the time of service and should have been disclosed upfront. At this point, all I am seeking is a refund for the services performed, as I now have to take my car elsewhere to be inspected and repaired by professionals. Coming to this shop was one of the worst decisions I’ve made regarding my car. The lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism was extremely disappointing.

Received professional and warm greeting from Chauncey, who was courteous enough to explain everything to me. He assured me he’d take care of me. Shawn was an exceptional mechanic, not only explaining everything but showed me everything my truck needed. I left with complete overhaul. This will definitely be my service center from here on. Mr. Tire on Howard Street was the ONLY place I called that could get my new tires to fix my flat on the SAME day! The manager was SO professional and courteous, and he was determined to get my tires for me same day! I really appreciate the three gentleman who took care of me and would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Tire on Howard Street for your tire, battery and other repair needs.
