I made an appointment and when I arrived, one tech came out after I had waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room and he told me that my appointment did not come through on their end and then went on to say that he didn’t feel like doing an inspection at that point in the day, which made me think that he was just lying to me. So he asked me to make an appointment for Sunday at 10 AM. Although this was inconvenient time for me, I made the appointment and I came back at that time and the doors were locked. The whole place was dark. I waited for a half hour in the parking lot for anyone to show…after calling and knocking and no one ever showed up so I never got any service. I just left and went to church. Thanks Mr. Tire!

I’m giving them two stars because the person that I dealt with was quite friendly and had good customer service skills. They are only getting two stars and barely 2 stars because I went in for an inspection and left believing that I needed $1400 worth of work done to replace struts and swaybar links on the front of my car that later at another shop was verified Do Not not at all need to be serviced and could be done if required for only $900 including parts and service. The fact that I’m a woman and this shop attempted to take advantage of that thinking that I didn’t know better is deplorable. I would never suggest anyone go to the shop unless you very well know everything there is to know about auto mechanics and if that’s the case, you wouldn’t need to go here anyway.

Booked a tire change appointment at 2 pm. Was told it gonna take 2 hours on-site. You know what, after 4 hours the technician off the work and there're still 3 ahead of mine. It looks like the front desk works in a different shop than the technician in the back. You could have called your customer say this won't get done and plan accordingly. I found out this myself when I saw the garage was closed. I won't come here again and I recommend you think very hard before coming here if you value your time as much as I do.

My son had car issues about an hour away from Syracuse, coming in from Albany. He heard a loud snap and lost heat and A/C, terrible situation for an 18 year old or anyone to not be able to use the dehumidifier in your car in this weather. I called several places not expecting too much on a Friday afternoon. Was hoping for at the very least he would be able to drop it off and get it back Sunday to head home. But every place we called unfortunately couldn’t fit us in, which we understood. I reached out to Mr Tire and they had him drop off for 5pm, they diagnosed it was the blower motor and whatever else they found. And had the car fixed and out the same night!!!! Thank you guys so much for taking him in. He was able to beat the storm and got home safely by Saturday afternoon. I’m an eternally grateful mother.

Just went in for a NYS inspection. The car was relatively new so it didn’t have any issues. Staff was (dare I say a little disorganized) but very friendly! Workers here seem to be all family which is nice. I must’ve clicked the wrong button online because my appt said oil change when I needed an inspection but they got me in quickly despite seeming like they had a lot on their plate. It took a little longer than expected (was told it would be around 45 minutes, but it was more like an hour and a half), but what mechanic have you been to where it doesn’t take a while? Price was much lower than I expected. Paid about 21$ for an inspection. Overall a good experience, would go back.

Most dishonest car repair place we ever visited. Told my wife her car failed inspection because of tires and brakes and then to increase the pressure to have the work done immediately, told her they already removed previous state inspection sticker. Took the car to our normal mechanic. Both brakes and tires were thin but would have passed inspection. Also told my wife the battery needed to be replaced, which it did not. When I went with her to pick up the car, the owner told a worker to "double check the mileage" on the car and handed him some paper. When we went outside, the supposedly removed state inspection sticker had magically re-appeared. Never ever trust your car to these people.

I had a great experience with John. Dropped off my car at 7:45am with the knowledge that I needed an oil change, and at least one wheel bearing replaced. Got a call 2 hours later that the issues were worse than I feared. I agreed to the repairs and went about my day. Around 3:30 I got a call that they did the repairs, took a test drive, and realized that two more bearings needed to be replaced - the original one was just so bad that none of us heard the back ones at the time. He quoted me the additional cost, and it was clear he was definitely eating some of the parts costs. I agreed to the repairs. This location closed at 7, but John and his crew kept working on my car until it was finished. I was finally able to pick it up at 8:45pm. When I got there, it was just John and his dad. John had come back after his shift was done to finish the repairs since his team was having difficulties. I cannot express how much I appreciate the dedication to getting me my car back same-day, and the dedication to addressing all of the issues. This was not a cost I was prepared for, but I definitely think I would have payed more somewhere else/with someone less kind than John. Thank you so much! You are fantastic!

I had new wheels and tires delivered here a couple of weeks before my installation appointment. Twice I requested that they mount and balance them prior to my arrival to save me time and they agreed to do so. When I arrived for my 10:00 appointment I was told that they didn’t have time to mount them and that it would take 1.5 - 2 hours. My car wasn’t taken in until 11:30 and I didn’t leave until noon. The guys were nice enough but wasted my entire morning.

I ran into the owner at a gas station when I ran out of gas, he let me borrow a gas can with gas and reset my codes on my new Rav 4 FOR FREE. Went out of his way to help me and he didn’t know me. Imagine what this guy and his team are going to do for you when you pay them for services. Just an all around great person. We are lucky to have family ran businesses like this and we should be supporting them to the fullest.

I wish I could put 0 stars. We used to bring our car here when another honest mechanic worked here but he left and we got swindled out of $1300. Dropped our car off here and was told the work would be completed the same day. When that didn’t happen, we got a call several days later that it was done and was told they diagnosed put issue and replaced one of the four fuel injectors. We payed $1300 for the work, picked up the car and started to drive it home and didn’t even drive a mile before all of our dash lights came on again and it had more problems than what we drove it there with! Frustrated, we took it to a dealer who revealed to us that ALL of the fuel injectors were original and none of them had been replaced and showed us how dirty and worn they were. After a day with the dealer, our car was running great because they had replaced ALL of the fuel injectors because that’s “standard procedure” and charged us LESS than Mr Tire. We are currently fighting to get our money back but Mr Tire is still lying and claiming they fixed our problem. Not that $1300 little to anyone but my husband is self employed and that’s a really big chunk of money for us that we need to pay our bills. So I’m writing this review in hopes that it will help save someone else from being scammed.

Came here today on a Sunday before Labor Day. Honestly, I expected the employees or managers to be cranky since it’s the weekend and right before the holiday—but not at Mr. Tire. I called around 1:22 PM asking if they could swap out my flat tire (I already had the new tire with me). The gentleman on the phone told me to come right over and they’d take care of it ASAP. As soon as I arrived, they took my vehicle in right away and told me it would be ready in about half an hour. My family and I walked around some nearby stores, and sure enough, less than 30 minutes later the car was ready just like they promised. Very affordable, very friendly employees, and a professional manager. Highly recommend coming here for any auto service needs.

I believe the mechanic knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, everything else was wrong. They drove my car from the shop I took it to (Mr. Tire on Erie Blvd) to another shop (Monro near Walmart) without telling me! Then they wanted to charge $375 for a $40 part. That’s not labor, just the part. I spent 5 hours and didn’t get my car fixed. I took my car to the Mitsubishi dealer and got it fixed for less. Not good!
