Mark Revis is a great mechanic, and an honest businessman. I was in Deland , Florida when my car began making a disconcerting sound. Hundreds of miles from home, I literally looked up the closest mechanic to my location and took a gamble. The gamble paid off. I knew Mark was the right mechanic when he displayed his transparency during the repair process. He took a test drive with me to be sure he understood my perception of the problem. Then, when the car was on the lift, he showed me and explained to me exactly what had broken in my brake assembly. And, without asking (or charging me) he checked to see if a similar issue might have been happening on any of the other three brakes in the car. I was at his shop at grand total of two hours, including wait time, assessment, ordering parts, installation, and test drive, all of which Mark performed perfectly. I was charged a fair price, and now my car works again. Remember his name, and uses services whether you’re from Deland or elsewhere. Mark saved the day!

Everyone I have encountered there is very friendly and helpful. Mark goes above and beyond what you would ever ask of a mechanic. It felt like he was more of a buddy trying to help me out and make sure my truck was good and ready to get back on the road, but with the experience to efficiently do the job. I just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to Mark and the team over at Muffler Man repair shop. On Monday I called at 4:20pm to set up an appointment with them. Instead, mark told me that I could bring my car to him right away. I arrived at 4:40pm and they close at 5pm. They stayed past closing time and looked at my car for over an hour ruling out the spark plugs, coil packs, connectors and did a compression test, ultimately coming to the conclusion that it was an issue with my injectors. (Before anyone asks, I put Seafoam in my gas and saw absolutely no improvement). That shop is extremely busy (as I saw while waiting for the short time my car was being fixed today) yet he managed to squeeze my vehicle in today and get the injectors replaced and now my car is running better than when I first purchased it 9 months ago. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the honesty and professionalism that they showed in our interactions this week. Mark, thank you to you and your team once again, I truly appreciate everything. I will for sure be coming back to you guys and referring all friends to you going forward if we have any car issues.

Not being from this area, I was reluctant to just bring my car to a random shop- I had heard nothing but the best from word-of-mouth about Muffler Man in DeLand, so when I needed an alternator it was the first place I went. Mark is an awesome, honest and friendly person. He explained everything clearly, and had me back on the road quickly. I’ve since been back for tires, and have sent family and friends his way.
