A great place if you want or need to do your own mechanic work. Mr. Dee has everything you'll need - electricity, compressed air, tools creepers, fans for those hot new Orleans days. The lift bay makes those tough jobs easy so its well worth the money.

Great guy that I know works there named Lou and he like a genius with cars, every time I brought my car to this shop he could listen to the car and tell what was wrong with it. And if it was something he could fix right then he would and I've never had any problems with any of his repairs. Very good place to go where you won't get ripped off and the prices are very reasonable.

I got a hole in my gas tank at a bad time. I didn't have much money and my friend said they could help me change it out. I bought a salvaged part from a local yard (great idea) and decided to do bay rental at My Shop Auto Repair at $20/hr. I've heard good things about these guys and figured the job would be easiest if it was done on a lift. Mr. D made time for us and made sure we aware that all the tools, air compressors, etc at the shop were ours to use. Long story short, this shop saved me over $500. The owner, Mr. D, is awesome...and you can tell he really loves his job and knows what he is doing. I'm going to be using this shop from now own for all of my mechanic needs! Thanks!

The owner D is a great guy, very straightforward and honest. My car needed alot of work including the rear end suspension/struts, new tires, brakes, alignment and all that. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and it was ready less than twenty four hours later. The work was top notch and was on point with my budget, which was a serious concern for me with the amount of things I needed repaired. When my car needs work or maintenance beyond what I can do at home I will be bringing it to my shop first. In so far as if it isn't a repair they can do (luckily they offer most of the common major repair services) I will still go to them for a second opinion FIRST, I wish I could have done that before the last two mechanics I used screwed me around. In conclusion, if you want good work at a fair price in a timely manner, my shop is #1

Wonderful place. Rented a bay today to replace brake pads on a difficult car. No problems whatsoever and the staff was helpful with advice and sharing a few special tools. They also provide an air gun and compressed air, in addition to ratchets, sockets and wrenches, which was very helpful. They are always available to operate the lift and adjust height. As a bonus you can leave the car on the lift overnight for no extra cost and come back in the morning to finish the job. If you have a difficult job you need a lift for, but you still want the DIY, look no further.
