Neals motto is "treat every customer the way I would want to be treated". He does that and more. His pricing is fair, he gives great advice, and he'll explain why he did it didn't do something. I've had several vehicles repaired at his shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Been going to Neil for 6 years and three cars. He is someone I totally trust to work on my car he knows what he is doing and he tries to keep costs down for us which I totally appreciate. So glad he was recommended to me when we moved to the area. Thanks Neil!

Neil Brown took 1000% great care of my Sons needs. A complete motor replacement on a 2007 ford pickup. No taking advantage of a young customer, completely open communications and very knowledgeable staff. 5 years have passed truck is still running flawlessly, I personally drove it from Central Point to Quantico so my son would have his truck at Officer Candidate School. Not one single issue in 4 days of traveling. My son got assigned to Yuma Arizona a year later. He drove that truck to Yuma in 3 days time and not a single issue. Still driving that truck today. I have referred multiple friends to have their cars/trucks fixed by Neil and crew. Not one was disappointed or regrets the work done. I am confident in their abilities to turn wrenches and solve problems for you too. Do not go somewhere else…

Absolutely amazing service, both with my car and with customer service. They take care of you and make completely sure you are happy. They don't try and scam you at all - completely honest and reliable. They got my lil Toyota back into tip top condition and rid me of my worries. Very reasonably priced, as well; I was in shock with how little my bill came to with my battery cables, an oil change, an examination of the inner workings of my car and hourly fee. I will 100% be returning to NBA when I am in need of auto work and tires (which I will be coming in for soon!). Thank you guys so much for being fantastic.

DO NOT GO HERE - I needed my 2001 jeep motor replaced. I figured this shop would do well because of the reviews. 5k miles on the new motor Neil put in my jeep, blown gasket. We attempted to get repairs but the entire motor ended up being blown. Seriously don’t go here, he’s not a nice guy, will waste weeks of your time and will lose your key fob.

Neil is an ethical and caring business man. My kid was driving a vehicle from California to PDX and she almost broke down at 1am. We had her drop off the vehicle in the middle of the night and called Neil in the morning. He did everything he could for us. That level of service and care is hard to find nowadays. He was thorough, thoughtful, reasonable, and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone I care for! Thank you Neil!

Customer Service was average and we’ll see how the work holds up. Brought my vehicle in 3 weeks ago and the check engine light came back on a couple of days ago. They cleared the code today. Neil Brown Automotive is the only mechanic to have done work on my vehicle. Hopefully, this is the start of a positive business relationship.

After having a bad experience at another shop, I was so refreshed and grateful to have a 10/10 experience with Neil Brown. He got my car back to me promptly, and was thorough and thoughtful in his approach. I called a couple times asking for updates, and he was totally patient, kind, and explanatory which calmed my nerves a lot. Everyone at the shop is educated and professional, plus the environment has a warm small town feel.

2007 GMC 2500 transmission R&R. Best price for the same transmission everyone else uses. ( One shop quoted $7500 just for the transmission excluding labor. ) Their labor rates are excellent compared to the competition and even came in under what was quoted. I will definitely use them for any future work.

I almost don't want to share how awesome the service is at this shop because I want keep it to myself! They were super accommodating, super professional, and sooo affordable. I ended up paying a third of what I was expecting and the job was done same day. I have been looking for a dependable family mechanic and I finally found him, thank you Mr. Brown!!

Neil Brown Automotive has been fixing our company fleet vehicles for years and also my personal vehicles. Someone always answers the phone - usually him personally and he will give you an idea of what’s going on. Do a thorough inspection. Give you a fair price fix the problem and you can be on your way. Highly recommend. They will listen to all the sound effects you make while trying to describe what’s going on and take you seriously. They always have time for me and our vehicles and get the job done right. If there’s a more affordable way to do it or an alternative way, they will try that too. Very trustworthy.

Brought a jeep in 8 months ago to have a head gasket fixed, oil cooler leak, seat belt light issue and airbag light issue. Jeep is now leaking oil from the head gasket. Took to another mechanic to diagnose and said it looked like a DIY job was done and oil was seeping through from their job. The seat belt light issue was fixed with a used junk yard seat belt buckle. You would think a reputable mechanic would buy new parts from reputable places. All the parts for the head gasket fix where purchased from O'Reilly's. They did fix the airbag light by plugging it back in under the seat and I assume the oil cooler was fixed too. This was a 4k bill in the end. There are a lot of mechanics in the valley id probably look elsewhere.

I had a really difficult time with Neil. I experienced some stiff steering back in August and took it to his shop to be repaired. Last week | started to notice stiff steering again, so I took it back to him to have him check out what was wrong. Assuming there would be no charge since it felt like the same issue I had experienced a few months ago, I was surprised when he told me the total would be around 300. After inspecting both invoices and doing some research, I learned that the issue I was experiencing this time was likely due to a mistake made in their repair back in August. I asked for a refund because I did not think I should be charged due to their lack of care during the first repair. Neil got very defensive, very loud and was quite disrespectful about the situation and would not take accountability for their actions. I understand it's hard to have your work questioned, but I think there are still better ways to treat your customers. I don’t often leave reviews, however, after a particularly negative experience, I felt this was necessary. I will not be returning to Neil Brown Automotive again.

I’ve been using Neil for more than 10 years. He’s always been honest and trustworthy. His prices are about half what the dealership would charge. He and his crew are always willing to find cost effective solutions for unusual situations.

Neil and his team are awesome, got me in and out quick. Quality work for a good price. 10/10 will use his shop again. I looked all over the valley at different shops, looking for things like reputable, fair , availability, communication, and professionalism. If you're doing the same stop looking, this is the shop you want to go to.

I have used Neil for almost 20yrs. As a single mom, car repairs are one of those things that can absolutely sink you. I can’t imagine anyone could be more fair, do better work or be more accommodating than Neil. He keeps it real, no inflated fluff. He is just The Best. 20 ⭐️ s as far as I’m concerned, all day long.
