I am SO GRATEFUL for his help. He was able to come to my place the same day I called. I was changing my spark plugs when my ratchet broke. He finished the other side- which did NOT fix my problem. He hooked up his reader and found the problem- I like to do my own work....so he explained what needed to be done and he was on his way. I went to the auto part store...replaced the coil- and the problem was solved. He was skilled, kind and polite. I will absolutley call him in a pinch again. My dad made me learn to fix my own car issues when I was a kid....Ive found over the years MANY males take advantage of women when it comes to auto repair. This was NOT an issue with Mr. ORTIZ. Thank you....for your help.

Mr. Ortiz has been my only mechanic for at least a dozen years. He is an expert mechanic in my view, always courteous, and can quickly determine what's wrong with the vehicle. His prices are fair, his skills unmatched, and he's always a pleasure to do business with. Edit: I just received a notice on the number of views on my comment, so I must correct a mistake I made. Time flies, and the truth is that Mr. Ortiz has been my only mechanic since 2003 when he first braved coming to my remote dozen acres to fix my truck. He kept that old truck running until I topped 400k miles and a big oak dropped on it and crushed it in 2020. Then he did a ton of work on the almost identical used truck I bought, and it runs like a dream. In addition, he did a bunch of work on my class A motorhome with a Triton v10 engine. I don't think there's anything he can't work on. So, 21 years, not a dozen. My eternal thanks, Felipe and Nancy!!¹

I highly recommend Felipe, he’s fantastic. We’re from out of town and going down Ashland Pass we realized our brakes were not good. We needed someone that could fix our car fast since we had to get back on the road. Felipe was super responsive on his phone, and he was super flexible with us. He’s willing to drive to where you’re located or he’s also able to work on your car if you drop it off. We were able to drop off our car and the same day and he was able to do the fix at a very reasonable price while we went to the nearby National Park.

He answered my call right away, we set up a time for him to come do diagnostic on our car. He agreed to be here the next day. But then he called me back & told me he had time to look at it within the hour. So he showed up promptly chk'd out the car. & then said he would return the next day to do repairs. He had to order a part that he needed. Showed up right on time the next morning. Went strait to work, had the car repaired & back starting and running in just a little over an hr. Would highly recommend his services fast, efficient & very knowledgeable. Would use him again. & I have trust issues. But he is very honest. Fair prices for mobile mech.

On my way to LA and the drivers side rear wheel dislodged from my truck at about sunset this evening. I was able to drag it out of traffic and into a parking lot, albeit with some destruction. I called Mr. Ortiz, he told me he'd be right there and ten minutes later was listing replacement parts, grabbed everything he needed at the Auto Parts store, pulled out tools and lights, and had me up and running in less than 2 hours. Fair priced, knowledgeable and friendly, I'm extremely lucky and grateful that I picked him to perform my service! Thank you again sir!

Since I've moved to the area, Ortiz has been out to fix several issues with my truck. He is always prompt and is careful to explain what he is doing and why. His rates are reasonable, and it is a pleasure to deal with him. When I had to have my instument panel replaced, he helped me look through Amazon to purchase the part, and when it got here, he installed it immediately. I had been quoted about $1,200 by somebody else, and they were going to need my truck for 2 or 3 weeks. Ortiz saved me about $500, and my truck was out of commission for about an hour. I am very happy I found him!

AH...what do you do when you break down or your car won't start and you need a mobile unit? I called Ortiz Mobile Auto Repair & Tow. Felipe Ortiz, got back to me right away. We scheduled a time and he was there promptly. He had to get parts and was back when he said he would be. This is not to mention that he is a wonderful person. I haven't had to deal with a mobile mechanic before, but I would highly recommend Ortiz Mobile. I personally felt that the price was exceptional for someone who had to come to me and run around for me and the car started up, just as he said. So, a big thank you to Felipe Ortiz and who knows, maybe I just found my new mechanic.

I called Felipe Ortiz on a Monday of all days to help with what I thought might be a dead starter in my daughter's car. He was to my house in about 10 -15 minutes, diagnosed within 2 minutes, called for the part (it was the starter), went to pick up, and was back to replace it in no time. I would say he was done in about 15-20 minutes. He is my hero!!! Great customer service, great mechanic, and no trying to upsell a clueless girl. From here on out, I will call Felipe. He was fabulous!!!

I feel so lucky to have found Ortiz!! My radiator had a crack in it. I just moved here and I had no clue who to call so I took a shot in the dark with Ortiz. I have been taken advantage of in the past so I was a bit nervous. He came out and diagnosed the problem. He showed me what the issue was and then he ordered me a new radiator. He came out the next day and replaced it. He was very fast. It ended up costing a lot less than what I anticipated. He was very honest and he didn’t try to tell me I had other issues. He was not a sales man and I really appreciated that! I will absolutely use him in the future and I will tell everyone I know to use him when they need a mechanic. It is refreshing to have a good, honest, dependable mechanic! I feel so lucky to have taken my chances with him. * I want to add the fact that he was a good person. He has a good demeanor and he comes across as trustworthy. When he was done with my vehicle I asked him if he could take a look at my girlfriend’s car because we thought there might be an issue with it. He took a look at her engine and he explained to me that everything was okay. If he wasn’t honest he could have made something up and charged us for nonsense. He didn’t even charge us to look at her car. He is awesome!

Coolant hose broke on Friday and needed my car by Monday. Ortiz mobile was the 3rd mobile repair I called- the first 2 kept saying they would come and never did. I highly recommend Ortiz Mobile repair! He arrived when he said, diagnosed the problem quickly and came up with a game plan that he thoroughly explained. Mr. Ortiz is a miracle worker! My 88-year-old dad has maintained his own vehicles all his life and is VERY distrustful of mechanics, having been scammed in the past. When he couldn't figure out why his 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 wouldn't spark, I convinced my dad to let me call Ortiz Mobile Auto Repair. Mr. Ortiz surpassed my wildest expectations: He got my dad to trust a mechanic! Mr. Ortiz took a truck we weren't sure would ever run again and had it purring like a baby kitten within 24 hours. He drove out to my dad's house immediately after my call, explained exactly what he was doing and why, and charged very reasonable prices. Mr. Ortiz is a consummate professional; I cannot recommend him enough. :) Thank you! Edited to add that Mr. Ortiz did this during Christmas week, working in my dad's muddy front yard in the rain!
