Purchased a tire on a Friday then went out of town (not in my car)came home Sunday and the tire was almost flat. Put air in it three times from Sunday night to Monday. Took my car back up there and they said it was a nail in it then they wanted to charge me to plug it. The tire still has a leak in it. So $55 down the drain. I will never go back

TLDR: Shady business. I wanted to support a small business, so I went there and purchased two new front tires. However, the worker informed me that he could not balance one of the tires and suggested I try another shop. He provided a partial refund for the failed balancing attempt, and I subsequently took the tire to another shop for balancing. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the tire had a bubble on the inside. I returned to the original business to inquire about a refund, but they stated they could only replace the defective tire. I agreed to the replacement, and initially, the new tire appeared to be in good condition. This was likely due to the fact that the tire had been washed and was still wet, creating the illusion of a good tire. However, once the tire dried at home, I noticed significant signs of dry rot. I then attempted to locate the tire's manufacturing date, but discovered that they had deliberately installed the outside of the tire on the inside, making the date illegible (unless the wheel was removed). I removed the driver's side wheel and found evidence of tampering. It appeared that the original date had been cut off, and a new date had been applied using a heating tool (see picture). Similarly, the passenger side tire, also with the outside facing inward, displayed a 2020 manufacturing date. I will no longer be supporting this business. It is a shame.

Poor Businesses.. Young man with dreads talked like 10 mins before I could even get him to take the tire off.. there was no one waiting but me.. his conversation was too important than to make money.. then he takes off my tire and disappears for like 20 mins .. I yell to the back how long he States he's airing up my tire still took like 6 mins .. then he walks back up.. Still no air in my tire .. Idk what he's on or do you not have the right equipment for the job... I believe he just talks to much.. 45 mins to get a tire replaced is insane..

I got a flat tire about 15 blocks away. While my bf was calling around looking for a tire we called this shop and unfortunately they didn’t have the size I needed. A couple minutes later we had two missed calls. It was Nelson’s Tire Repair and it turns out they did have the tire I needed! They actually took time to call us back and tell us they had it in stock which I truly appreciated! Thank god this business is open till 8pm on a Saturday! They saved my life and now I can make it to work tomorrow morning without having to try to get it repaired before 7am!

It would really be nice if you update your hours as I drove here having to put air in my tire, and at 8:30 you are still not open now I have to put air in my tire yet again just to make it to a place that actually is open when they say they are.

Horrible customer service. The guy who answered the phone sounded like he was trying to scam me. I asked about getting a radiator hose replaced and a coolant flush which would require some specific equipment and some time. Initially I thought I would have get towed there so I called them to double check to make sure they fix those types of car issues for my particular make and model. So when I told the guy he said yeah I can pull up where your at and fix it for 40 bucks. That seemed a bit odd. I have had many repairs done before and they always make sure they can get the right parts after looking the car over. He said he would fix it the same day with only two hours left before they close. There's a reason people have that old saying too good to be true. How can he fix it that quick if he didnt know my car issue existed before I called. The odd of him having the exact parts that I needed for my make and model might be close to the odds of winning the lottery. He most likely intended to put on some random parts he had laying around or he was going to look at it and charge me much more than he said. He might even wanted to get the location just to take some converters. I don't know but I know for sure you have to weigh all the variables because if something sounds too good to be true, then it most likely is. I will be taking my car to a real mechanic shop. Watch out for red flags like this.

Worst experience I’ve ever experienced going to a tire shop manager VERY UNPROFESSIONAL just the way he talks I would never talk to anyone n that manner went in to get a new tire due to flat ended up waiting almost 2 hours the guy they have working there was clearly high out of his mind eyes blood shot red and also use to work at the old tire shop that got burnt down on Appleton for doing bad business and now the same is happening here with the same person took my hub cap off when changing my tire never put it back on did not notice till the next morning because it was dark came back then the guy proceeded to lie and says I never came with it on which was a lie it was the same tire he took 40 minutes to change BTW smh and the manager try to cover for the guy claim he would help or replace it but NEVER did or reached back out after trying to call me a liar I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF U VALUE YOUR vehicle SIMPLE and this was the 4th of October 2025 moral of the story came for a tire left with half my tire hub cap and valve stem cover never put back on smh you can’t trust anyone but the dealerships nowadays and I know because I work for one had they not been closed I would’ve went there Be careful who u trust also left wheel extra dirty
