I have been going to these guys for well over a year now, and I keep coming back because of how well they treat me. Recently, I blew out a tire and needed to be on the road the same day. These guys were responsive to my concerns and got the exact brand and tire size I was looking for. They had me back on the road well before the start of rush hour, and gave me a better deal than the local Firestone. The next time I run into issues, I will be sure to return without hesitation.

I had a great experience with the owners and managers when I spoke to them, but the mechanic who did the work did a dangerously sloppy job. They stripped several bolts in my suspension and steering, and even cut a couple to get the parts off. Which would be fine, except that they used the same cut bolts to attach the new parts! There was no cotter pin holding the castle nut on, and predictably, the crappy remnant of the bolt got loose and snapped off. While I was driving down the highway. The managers and owners have fought me tooth and nail on getting reimbursed for the crappy labor (I even told them I'd still pay for the parts!). Be that as it may, they haven't been willing to work with me or stand by a commitment to quality. I had emergency repairs made at another shop (who used the same parts I brought these guys, even though these guys lied to the credit card company and said the parts I provided were not OEM when they were). They seem to have positive reviews on Yelp, and maybe that's fair. I just know my situation was not positive, and they even had an opportunity to change my opinion. They chose to use that opportunity to lie to the credit card company and fight any form of recourse. If anyone else has similar issues, I recommend you look up the Massachusetts state laws surrounding letters of demand and standards for merchants. Hell, I'll send you the resources I used, because it took a lot of reading to get anything productive done.

This review is overdue. I live in Pittsburgh and my daughter is in Boston for the summer. She was having issues with her 2013 Juke and took it to Morgan. brought my car in for brake work yesterday afternoon they had it ready by the time i left work. i've had issues with my brakes since i bought my car and had taken it into the dealership 3 times and it was never resolved. NE Brake resolved it in a few hours! great customer service, fair prices. owner is very honest and caring. he even took care of a few other small things at no charge. they do all kinds of automotive work and will be coming here from now on!

I have had service done on my 2003 Ford Explorer at least 3 times in the last 2 years at New England Break and I have been satisfied each and every time. Wagner, the owner, is very accommodating, pleasant and easy going. He opened up for me on a snow storm day because I needed service and I greatly appreciate that. His mechanic is open and honest and gives you the real deal of what is going on with your vehicle. New England Break had my vehicle ready by the end of the business day which is amazing. Other shops I have gone to takes 2 and 3 days just to look at it. I give New England Break 5 stars. They are alright in my book and anytime I need some work done they will be the first person I call. Their prices are fair and Wagner even called me an Uber one time so that I could get to work. I had planned to walk from his shop to work and he wouldn't have it. He took out his phone and paid for one for me and he didn't add the cost to my bill. Great guy! Definitely treats his customers well.

Eddie was awesome, honest and clearly explained questions I had about my engine. They changed my spark plugs and replaced my air filter at a very decent price point. I later had low tire pressure and came by late one afternoon right before they closed and he helped me out. 100% recommend this business, very good natured people!

I don't doubt that this shop can do work but not for a good price. I went to him for a brake repair because I knew my car had issues and when I went there he tried quoting me over $1600 for a brake change and a couple other things. I was immediately suspicious and didn't go back and then he called me a week later saying he could actually fix just the brakes for $600 or buy the car for $800. My immediate thought was scam because how are you going to chop the price in half after I say I'm not coming back. I ended up paying AAA for a tow instead all the way to Worcester where my mechanic fixed the brakes and all the other issues for $700; less than half of what he asked. Did I mention my mechanic also said that some of the issues weren't even to the extent he tried to tell me and agreed with me that I was being scammed? Don't go here. Buy a AAA+ membership and tow it literally anywhere else. This guy just wants money and I should have expected him to upcharge me when I read the other bad reviews saying he charges up. Also, if he comments on my review saying that I don't know the price of labor or parts, or that this isn't true like every other bad review, don't listen to him. At the end of the day, my car and my wallet are in a much better shape than they would have been if I had brought it to his shop.

Wagner and the mechanics here do really great work. I'm confident trusting my 20 yead old car to them. They are thorough. But beyond that, the customer service is exceptional. They are very professional and kind, and just feel like good people who care about what they do and how their customers feel. I've had my car serviced here many times, but today there was a misunderstanding about pickup that could have been super inconvenient for me. Suffice it to say Wagner went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible for me, even dropping my car off at my home and taking a lyft at his own expense. And he did all of this with a smile and without blaming us! That is above and beyond, in my book. This is really what makes the difference for me! Customer service is a dying art, but it's still alive at this shop!

This is a long overdue review! I've brought three different cars to Wagner and his team several times over the years. They've always done excellent work at an extremely fair price, and work so quickly. Normally I call the day before I'm hoping to come and they can always squeeze me in. But what I really want to highlight is Wagner's kindness, good humor and empathy. As a woman, and someone not well versed in cars, I often feel intimidated and frankly naive when working with mechanics. Wagner has always made me feel welcome and at ease, and has explained things in depth. For me, this is almost more important than great work and good prices. One more thing: They are now offering door-to-door car pickup and dropoff at no additional charge. They'll pick up your car from your home, and return it after the work is complete. It saved me a ton of time and headache, highly recommend!
