Immediately realizing something was amiss, I contacted New York Tire Company and Service Center to report the issue. However, instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, the staff vehemently insisted that the oil change had indeed been carried out. It was utterly frustrating to be met with such resistance, especially when the evidence clearly demonstrated the contrary. In an attempt to verify their claims, I promptly pulled over and inspected the oil myself. To my dismay, I discovered that not only was the oil level significantly low, but it was also visibly dirty. This confirmed beyond any doubt that the oil change had not been done, despite their continued denial. It is deeply troubling that a reputable service center would stoop to such dishonest practices. In the hopes of finding a resolution, I returned to the shop to address the issue and request either a proper oil change or a refund. ★★★★★ When we moved to Staten Island, I was warned about the likelihood of getting a flat tire - giant potholes, nails in the road, broken curbs and more. And indeed, I have had several. Until now, I would waste several hours waiting in one of the local national tire chains to get a new tire, even though I pass New York Tire Company every day on my way to work. With the latest flat tire, I decided to give them a call, expecting a high price. I'm DELIGHTED to report it was a great price for a top line tire, with quick, friendly service. Mark even showed me how they tested the destroyed tire to make sure it could not be fixed. I hope we don't get another flat, but if we do, this is now my go-to place. I also noticed they do auto repairs, alignments and more, which I may try in the future. FOLLOW UP: Another nail, another plug. In and out in less than 30 minutes for $15. I love these guys!

★★★★★ I left Firestone and have not looked back. I have been coming here for years now. They are very friendly and kind. Getting a car fixed can be very pricey. They don't rush you into getting everything done at one time. They try to work with you. Mechanics tend to take advantage of females or people in general and I don't feel that they do.They aim to get the job done and done right and to satisfy the customer.
