The worst experience ever, stay far away ..had to pick up my vehical after a month! Had it repaired in long island. The day I went back to see how they were doing, mechanic offered me $900.00 for my vehicle, I told him it's not for sale! So , they could not find the problem for a month, received message from owner if I wanted to junk it. Not good business. I would never go back to SMP.... and on a consistently basis will tell a person that I come in contact with all about these un knowledge mechanics ugh...

DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE A BMW..... Steve the owner is very bad at Communication and I’ll say the “SHOP” because I don’t know who was working on it but the shop don’t know how to fix foreign cars and instead of saying they are not familiar with the model they give u the run around tell u it’s fix u go there to pay and now the car not ready....don’t waste your time!! it was my first and last time going there never dealt with business that don’t know to communicate properly or say they can do something and can’t just waste people time. P.S: Believe those reviews below mines like I did and you’ll see for you self. Happy hunting

Our van broke down at 6 PM right as we were going to head back to Maryland. We went to SMP and are very happy we did. Not only did they make helping us a high priority, they also helped us find accommodations for the night and even drove us to the train. Furthermore, even though we were from out of town they did not overcharge us, as some mechanics will do. However, it gets better--a couple weeks later there was an issue with the part that they put in. I called them to find out the part number, and when they found out what happened they made some calls and arranged for us to get the part fixed in Maryland for free.

We had these guys inspect a used vehicle for us. They were professional, friendly, no nonsense guys. It’s obvious they care about doing things the right way. They were thorough and honest, and found several issues with the vehicle we would have had no way of knowing about. And the price of the inspection was significantly lower than we expected. We live in Brooklyn, but when we do find a car, and when it needs a tune up or repair, we’ll be sure to visit these guys again.

Anytime I am in a jam this place literally saves me. They've worked on my car several times, and have always done a great job with honest work at a fair price. The owner Chris will tell you what needs to be fixed now and what can wait if you are trying not to break the bank and save. Chris has literally gone out of his way and dropped everything in the moment to come personally help me when stranded. He legit saved me today when I was stranded at another mechanics shop that was trying to rob me, that I emergently had to pull into off the highway. It's extremely hard to find honest mechanics, no question these are good people.
