Newman’s is an awesome place to take your car. The team has a lot of experience, will tell it to you straight up, and will work a plan with you on repairs. You’ll also get timely updates on progress. I took my ‘95 Jeep in, definitely an older car that needed special attention, and they were fantastic!

Took my car to Newman's (because of the excellent reviews) which had minimal damage to the rear end (from another car that ran into me) with the estimate from that person's insurance company to see if Newman's could do the repairs for that amount, which was little bit over $2300. They said they would look over and work up their own estimate which I understood and it seemed reasonable. Couple days later I get an estimate with over 110 line items and in excess of $14,000. Could not believe it so I called and got every reason in the world why it was so high. Still did not believe it so I went and met with Steve. Steve was very professional, polite and courteous. He and the person I had spoke with said that they were required to build everything back to brand new like condition and had every excuse or reason why. I expained that their estimate would result in the car being declared as a total loss by the insurance company, when it only had minimal damage. When I asked can they get a trunk lid from a salvage yard and make it look as good as possible (as that's all I really needed) they said no that if they did any repairs that it had to be all or none. Wow, so much for what a customer is asking for. I instructed them to put everything back together and I would seek out something else. Ended up paying them over $800 for all of this. Following week I found a trunk lid that matched the factory paint, paid $450 for it, changed it out myself, and the car looks like nothing had ever happened. And to boot, had about $1,000 left over from the insurance company payout. At end of the day I feel that Newmans is a top notch outfit that offers good quality work, but it would be nice if they would listen to what the customer is asking of them and not look at it as an opportunity to run up a bill.

Went by Newman today for the first time and Doug was absolutely amazing! I simply went in to ask a question about touching up a few scratches on my truck and Doug walked outside, buffed a few things and actually touched up the scratch on the spot! I was amazed by the customer service and friendliness... You just don't really experience that level of customer service anymore. Not to mention their lobby is cool and has character that includes a 1952 Frigidaire refrigerator that they custom painted! Very cool! Thanks Doug, you have a new customer for life!

I was rear ended about a month ago, I called Newman’s to see about availability of getting my car in for an estimate etc. I spoke with Rob and he said they could take a look at it the same day I called. Took my car in and the process took maybe all of 10 minutes. Left my car with them and they completed all my repairs in about 3 days. Not only did they do incredible work on my car but they took such good care of it and not only did they do the needed body work repairs but I got my car back cleaned than I left it. It was fully washed and detailed, scratches that were there prior are now gone. They went above and beyond! Rob was fantastic to work with, their shop was clean, professional and everyone I came in contact with were kind and inviting. I would HIGHLY recommend their body shop to anyone needing work done! Hope I never have to return of course but if I did I wouldn’t go anywhere else! 🤗

I was recommended to try Newman's to repair tree damage done to my 12 year old Venza. While this is not a sexy car by anyone's measure, Newman's treated it like it was. Steve and all the crew were patient and fully answered all my silly questions. Their response to me was remarkably quick. The work they did was fabulous. You can not get any more professional then Newman's Auto Body & Repair. When dealing with Doug and Rob they where both great. They handled everything with insurance and made life simple. Communication with both was over and above they communicated throughout the process informing us of any parts and time frames that were on order. We were super happy when they expedited orders and got the vehicle done in a shorter time frame than originally quoted. After they completed repairing the vehicle you would have never known that it needed and had body work done.

Rob and the team at Newman's were fantastic at helping us repair my sons car. Old Honda CRV needed a new front end due to collision. Rob was able to find matching parts and repairs were completed very quickly. End result was impressive. Vehicle was returned better looking than when we acquired it used. I recommend 1000%. They were friendly, understanding, professional, prompt, and transparent. They gave me two quotes - one everything completely replaced (upward of 2500$ for parts and labor), the second was with one minor part replaced but scratches buffed out and dent pulled out …that total was 564$ for parts and labor. They were honest and said second option would probably have great results, but could not guarantee. I am single mom, and I went with the second option. They said I could put the payment toward first option if I wasn’t satisfied. This was not the first place that I went for an estimate. They were done with the work within one day, and the car looks spectacular. I was amazed. I highly, highly recommend.

I drove my repaired 2025 Forester yesterday for the first time since returning from Florida. Wow! I thought my car looked nicer than when it came off the dealer's lot! The repair was faultless, and the paint job seems to look even better than the original! Moreover every bit of accumulated dust and dirt, even in non-obvious places, has been removed and the car is sparkling again. I'm extremely satisfied with Newman's, including that they handled all the negotiations with the insurance company to pay for ALL the rear damage caused by backing into a tree after the snowstorm. I just had my second car repaired with Newman's. They did my son's car several years ago and did a great job. So when I needed repairs that is where I went immediately. They worked with the insurance company to get my car repaired properly when the insurance company wanted to take shortcuts with aftermarket parts that did not fit correctly. My car came back looking beautiful inside and out. They went the extra mile and washed the car and cleaned the inside!

A neighbor recently backed into my car. I called the Mazda dealership in Olathe and they recommended Newman’s Auto Body and I am so glad they did! They were able to fit me in super quickly for an estimate, turned it around the next day, and were able to get my car in immediately. They worked with my neighbors to obtain payment up front and had my car complete within 4 days. They kept me updated on my car throughout the whole process, which was so nice. And, not only did they fix my car, they cleaned it! The outside was so shiny and the inside completely vacuumed and the floor mats looked beautiful. I was so impressed!! While I did not pay for the damage, I felt they were reasonably priced and didn’t try to sell me on anything or take advantage. Everyone was so kind and I would highly recommend using Newman’s!
