I been going there for years but time to move on everytime i go for a oil change they tell me I need shocks tires etc my shocks are fine my tires are fine they try to over sell stuff the orignal guy whom was the service mgr left this new huy tries hsrd t o sell you.so I would stay away

Shady mechanics know how to make "returning customers". If you happen to notice something wrong a week or a few weeks after getting service from this shop. It's not a coincidence! All 3 visits I did here, there was always a problem after.

It's all about the air-machine. It's one of the modern ones that digitally measure your tire pressure and add exactly the amount of air needed. Also: easy ingress and egress to the gas pumps and Dunkin Donuts.

It's not often where you go to a service station and you're treated with professionalism and honesty. I had an issue with my jeep not starting properly this morning (of all days..Christmas Eve) and was about to go to PepBoys (who in my experience have price gauged me for work), but my co-worker's husband told me to go to Nor-Cross Service Station in Whitestone, NY. I met with Manjit inside of the waiting area & Troy (one of the technicians). It was such a pleasure to deal with them. Troy was explaining to me what the issue was (low battery for key fob). He could have made something up to say I needed this...I needed that...to hustle me. NOPE...Troy took the time to make sure the car worked correctly after putting in the new key fob battery. Then, Troy checked under the hood to make sure the car battery works properly. If anyone needs car service and is looking for a Service Station who is honest and professional..you need to go there and ask for Troy! Now I can go to work safely and finish up my Christmas shopping!!

Amazing service. I came in on a Sunday for a car inspection. Walked into their Dunkin Donuts to grab a bite and they were ready for my car. 20 minutes later I was leaving. Friendly staff. Can’t ask for much more.

I've never written a review before, positive or negative, but I'm so incensed by this place that I just had to let everyone know what their practices are. On jan 30 I was there for an oil change and was told my air filter needed changing, which is fine. Within 2wks my car starting kicking back. After 2 trips to the dealership they finally determined that an after market air filter was used, that they put it in backwards, and they broke my air pressure sensor while jamming the filter in. I had used this place for years. When I went back for an oil change and related what happened they told me they didn't change my air filter and denied they did any damage. That day, After the oil change was done I was told that all my brakes were very very low and they needed to be changed before my next oil change. Well my inspection came due before that. I went some place that a coworker recommended. This is now 3mos later. My brakes are at 40%. Do not go there. They cannot be trusted.

Left my car for a water pump fix but my car has wiring problems now. I also paid to have my headlights replaced but came home to see that it wasn’t even done. They told me I need to buy another more expensive bulb. My car is still having problems and driving my car doesn’t feel safe. I wish I never trusted them with my car. Paid over $1000 for a horrible experience.

If this is the "Nor" station (there are a couple that share that name-fragment) in which Hogan works - I offer a strong endorsement. Had significant issue arise while crossing the Throg's Neck(!) - overheating, electrical problems, and power steering loss... all at once. Made it off the clearview, got towed to Nor. Hogan was exceptional. Loss of serpentine belt is not a difficult diagnosis - but he was fast, candid, and honest - and very pragmatic about what additional work might be in order, but brought no pressure to the convo. Really solid customer-facing guy that would likely excel in any service-oriented business. Go there with confidence, and ask for Hogan.
