I have been there for the State Inspection for the first time. Every year, I go to other shops but, at this time, I went there for that and A guy looking kind of like owner or manager told me that something needs to be fixed and replaced with tires, rotors and brake pads with ridiculous prices for $700. it's not worth that for considering. Finally, I am at a loss for words and left there with nothing service, regardless of passing or fail, they charged for $37 to me. And then, at the same day, I visited to other shop and got inspection done, my vehicle has passed with no problem of tires, rotors and brake pads. that's charged for only $37 for just State inspection. I shared this issue and this store to them and they didn't believe that was ripped off and regarding ridiculous prices. Because they take care of my vehicle every year and every 5 months whenever I get oil change done with synthetic oil Of course, my tires and rotors with pads were replaced there before to the other shop. I mean I go to the shop for some routine maintenance. If I could give 0 out of 10, I would leave 0. Don't waste of your money and time.

I almost never comment on any service but these guys are really top notch. Everything they do is professional and it’s done right and it’s done on time. This is a rare gem in the auto service business. Highly recommend them and also for gas they are the one of the few places that charge the same price for cash or credit.If you need your car fixed go to these guys. Just the number of cars that are always in their parking lot or waiting to get into the garage bays is a testament to the great service they do.

Besides an oil change I also had my yearly inspection done. I find that they are very honest. I have used their services more that once and unlike many gas stations who try and sell services that are not needed they just perform what was asked for. Always very courteous and never try to reschedule you. Being a neighborhood gas station I give high praises to their great treatment of all

Disappointed without even receiving any service, so I cannot speak on the quality of their work. The story is that I got there at 7am and there was already a line. 15 minutes in, a guy came out and told us they actually start working at 8am. FIX YOUR WORKING HOUR SIGN. None of us would have been there this early if it didn’t say 7am-6pm. You guys charge us for hourly labor but time is money for us too.

They offer 5 star reviews for a discount off the total cost of the work. Paid (a lot of money) to have rear struts replaced. Two days later I went to another mechanic for an issue and he showed me my old rear struts which were still the same exact ones I paid to have replaced. This place is a scam and all I hear is bad things. I wish I would have listened to others.

Everyone at this service station was helpful, understanding and honest. They showed me the issue I was having with my tire, and patiently explained the options for repair and installation. They helped me find the comparable tire within my budget and I did not feel like I was being pressured into an unnecessary purchase. Honest service. Rates are competitive, but get good honest service with a trusting mechanic. Oil changes and car inspections done on site. Had a none starting car and towed it to this place at the height of the pandemic. Although they tried to start it, they were unsuccessful and didn't charge for storage or trying. Aman recommend to take it to the official service shop. Still come here for the normal regular services for years since.

This service station and the service station on Northern Blvd near Great neck (Nor - Great Neck Service Station) are part of the same family and both are great. From ownership, office manager to the mechanics are the best. I moved to Little Neck in 2019 and I’ve been bringing my company vehicles and personal vehicles here and couldn’t be happier. This is my second or third time bringing my car to them and their service is fast and efficient. I went to them around 2:30 PM because of low oil pressure. They took my car right away, saw that the oil was very dirty, inspected the car fully and noticed the tread of one of the tires was very low and that I needed new brakes in the back. They were done in less than 2 hours and did a great job with all of the car maintenance that was needed! Will definitely be going back there!

Been a "regular" here for past 5 years. Finally leaving a review. Short review - Price: competitive/fairly priced, posted on wall Ambiance: clean and friendly Recommend? Yes, I recommend 👍 Long review - Normally here for state inspection or oil change. Whenever I needed to replace something to pass the inspection, the manager showed/explained to me what and why. Items I needed to replace were fairly priced too. Clean shop, friendly and attentive people. 5 stars all the way! (Small thing to note: they get crowded quite quickly so if you want a quicker in/out, you should get there around the their opening time. If you go early, oil change takes about 30 mins and about 1 hour for state inspection. If you go too late, you might not even be able to get your car in)

I asked my wife to come by this place and get an inspection done since we live fairly close. The inspection guy told my wife that she needed to change the oil because whoever did the oil change had given us 3 quartz over what the car needs. He also mentioned to her that her front brakes and rotors were bad and went ahead a quoted her $550 for front brakes and rotors. We did the brakes and rotors on her cars last December through Nissan dealership and she had just done a new oil change earlier this week. This place is full of scammers trying to rob people. I do not recommend this place at all do not come to this shop.

I brought my car in for a simple New York State inspection, and instead of just doing the job, they tried to tell me I had to replace my brake pads and rotors in order to pass. It really felt like they were just looking for a way to charge me a lot more money than necessary. What should have been a routine inspection turned into an expensive sales pitch. I left feeling like this place cares more about padding the bill than being honest with customers. I won’t be going back.

I wish i had the option to give Zero stars. Absolutely unacceptable and shameful behaviour. My grandmother has been a loyal customer at Nor Marathon Service Station Inc. and this gas station for years, and things were NEVER like this when there was a previous manager. Since Paul took over, the place has become completely untrustworthy. While I was at college, my grandmother called me very upset because Paul was demanding $3000 just to “pass inspection.” This was especially outrageous considering that the last time she paid $2000, she barely drove 600 miles afterward. There was no proper explanation—just pressure and intimidation. I told her not to agree to anything and to wait until I got back. As soon as I returned, I took her car to another shop, where they cleared the inspection for only $37. That alone proves how dishonest and inflated Paul’s demand was. It is painfully obvious that this manager is trying to take advantage of an elderly woman. This is predatory, unethical, and extremely crooked behavior. Long-time customers should not be treated like this simply because they are older and easier to pressure. Now, I strongly warn people—especially seniors and their families—to stay far away or get a second opinion before giving this manager a single dollar. I really hope BP will take a strict action against this. Disgraceful.
