Work was done much faster than I had expected. They were fast, fair, and honest. I put my truck in the shop thinking it would cost around $5000 to repair but they found the problem and made the repairs for $400. Went to North Valley Diesel to have my 1993 Chevy pickup repaired. Called before I took it in and Johnny the owner let me know they were pretty backed up with work and it would be 10 days to 2 weeks before they could look at mine....which was no problem. My pickup used to be my dad's before he passed and had almost 300,000 miles on it. They found 2 separate diesel leaks and an oil pressure switch that was bad. After fixing those items it ran better, but still didn't run properly. So they tested the glow plugs and every single one was bad (no wonder it wouldn't run any more). Now it runs like new again. I highly recommend North Valley and will be going back anytime I need my diesel repaired in the future! =)

Worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I am an 80 year old senior citizen. I felt that my experience by Jeremy bordered on elder obuse. They ruined our almost four month RV vacation. I verified what I already knew, my regular long time mechanic told me that my rotors and front brakes were fine. My mechanic, Mitch road tested my RV after his complete service. Front brakes were good. $706.00 is excessive by North Valley Diesel was too much for a master cylinder. They never told me what I would pay nor do I remember signing work order, or getting a receipt. More to come after I complete complaint form to State. Hope we never experience this kind of customer service again. Horrible, Why was Generator and front air conditioner on when I picked it up? I have dash air that works fine if mechanic was hot. Why was it necessary to run air to put in master cylinder?horrible. We e we're almost killed by runaway down 7 percent 2 mile down slope. Front brakes rotors were warped, they wouldn't work. No front brakes. Rotors when inspected had fresh grease on one and old debris on other one. Like they came from junk pile. Strange!!! My mechanic said not that way when I left his shop. He road tested RV before I picked it up. $1702.00 by Les Swab was cost of damage to brake system after runaway. I never had brake chatter when stopping my motorhome before. Brake chatter means warped rotors.

Jeremy was the one that finally figured out what was wrong with our RV. After an expensive repair in another city the problem showed up again close to Yuba City. I found North Valley Diesel on my iphone and called. He told us to come in and he would look at it. After looking further in the diagnostic report he was able to find another potential problem that low and behold was it. Our trip back to Virginia was perfect. Thank you all so much. They are accommodating, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonable. Recommend them highly!!
