So I'm gonna go off on a limb and say all the 5 star reviews are fake. If I could rate this service as a 0 I would in a heartbeat. 2 HOURS I WAITED AND NOBODY CAME WHEN I HAD A FLAT TIRE AND IT WAS ABOUT TO SNOW STORM. If you need towing make sure you request it not be these idiots

Worst experience ever. My car broke down and had to visit this place as recommended by towing company. They don't install new parts, made me compulsory install used part that was priced more than a new one.

I was headed home to NJ last night, broke down on Rte. 78, and arrived at #1 Service Center at 2am this morning: the Friday before a big family weekend at my house. I decided to stay in my car in the lot and met Gio at 6:30am when he arrived to open up the garage. Initially, he said they were fully booked for the day but, after hearing my circumstances, he and one of the mechanics took a look at my car. It turned out to be the alternator and, possibly, a battery since mine had been fully depleted. They ordered the alternator, recharged my battery while waiting for the part, and I was back on the road by 9:15. No need to replace the battery; an unexpected surprise in this day and age of replace anything that is suspect in the repair process. The guys made me quite at home while waiting, Gio even showed me a '68 Firebird to which they were doing some special work. I don't know if they are well known in Allentown, but I surely wish I had a family-run garage like this in my hometown.

We had a stellar experience with Number 1 Service Center in Allentown PA. We were traveling from CT to Gettysburg PA for a bike rally. They towed our broken down truck and trailer to the shop. First thing the next morning they looked at the vehicle and repaired our bad brake lines. Ultimate courtesy and service. Sal, the owner, went above and beyond and did excellent work at a very reasonable price. Thanks Sal!

Love the work they do. They show you whats wrong, won't do work you don't need. They take pride in the work they do. The towing service is wonderful too. They have always showed up promptly for my issues and my old cars have a few. When my wife had her accident they worked well with the insurance company. I would recommend them to anyone

Excellent service center. Sal is great to work with and wants what is best for your car. He will not do something that does not need to be done and is very honest. The work is done right and the prices are very reasonable. I highly suggest taking your car here, it will be in good hands! There is nothing negative I can say, it's a great local place to take your business to.
