I just want to say this place is a hidden gem and so is the mechanic named Zeddie Omg! Deserves way more than five stars! On my way to an important meeting, I ran over a loose tire on the highway. I got out in the next exit and was so relieved to find this auto repair shop. Zeddy/Zeddie and his boss went above and beyond and helped me so much! Such kind and friendly people. In less than five minutes, I was able to continue on my way. Thank you!!!

I WISH I NEVER TOOK MY CAR TO OAKLAND AUTO REPAIR!!!!!!!!! Spent $20 the week before at a different repair shop doing inspection-passed with flying colors. Then took car to them to do routine preventative maintenance alignment, oil change etc. Drive home felt awful, called the next day cos they forgot to put a cap back on, which they reordered. Then a week later my check engine light appears…no oil. Oh wow so you mean to tell me the mechanic that went to jail rite after he did werk to my car was so high he forgot to put oil in mine and now the engines shot?! No surprise. Tried to reason with owner -ofc that wasn’t happening. So they comped repair werk they did to the engine over their incompetence and that’s supposed to make up for it?? My family cars effed now thx to these schemers… SAVE YRSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! A $200 bandaid doesn’t make up for the irreversible damage they caused me-what a joke

I have been going to Oakland auto-repair. Ever since they opened their doors. Al has kept my car's running as new A most reliable person of integrity. An automobile shop I would recommend highly. His mechanics Jeff and Zeddie are two of the most knowledgeable young men. I have encountered whatever my issue has been with my car They took care of it without any issues. Whomever you are , whenever you take your car in to be worked on. You are always apprehensive. And nervous to some extent but. They reassure you with their professionalism and their knowledge of their profession. I recommend this place very highly. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.. My Hazard Light Came On On The Way Home From Picking My Kids Up From School, Stopped To Get Air, Yet The Machine Kept Stepping, And I Was Charges The $2 Fee. I came here today for my state inspection. I don't know if they do appointments, but I came and was helped quickly by (the owner?), Al. After I was helped, a mechanic named Zeddie came in and introduced himself and asked me if I had been helped. He definitely knew how to approach a customer, which is not easy to do it to learn. I was impressed with how professionally he introduced himself and wanted to make sure that I had been helped. My car failed to pass the inspection the first time, but then I came back later and passed. I didn't have to wait and they were nice about it. Come to this shop if you want to receive great, friendly customer service.

I recently took my work van for a full Transmission replacement. They received the part and suggested few things the van needed. They replaced the old transmission in a matter of 1 day even though they were very busy they wanted me back on the road so I can get back to work. The van runs better than it was new. Great prices and better service. I would not take my van or car to anywhere else.
