Horrible service!! I DROPPED off my lawn mower on September 14th. Needed repair. We called every two weeks since, and we were told they were waiting on a part. I stopped calling towards the end of November. I showed up last week and my mower was sitting outside UNTOUCHED and getting rain and dust. I DONT RECOMMEND them to anyone!!!!

Our very first experience with this shop and we can 100% say that THIS is the place to come for parts and service! Had a broken/missing seat part on a SCAG TigerCub and no parts breakout had the piece listed. Lady at the counter was extremely helpful and busted her butt searching parts breakouts, google, calling the parts dealer, and even going out to see if the older SCAGs on their property had this part on them. She put a call in to their parts dealer and took our info and let us know that as soon as they contacted her back, she'd give us a call with availability and pricing. EXCELLENT customer care/service! The willingness to go above and beyond to help us solve a problem...You've gained a new customer!

BEWARE - Had a pressure washer serviced, replaced the whole pump, very expensive. Took it home and still did not work. Took some time to try other options like a place with stronger water pressure, still ng. Exactly the same as when I brought it in, not working at all. When I brought it back they said it was just out of warranty and that's just too bad for me. They will NOT stand behind their work, They did not test it, or show me that it worked and now they refused to honor their work. No customer service orientation. It's them against the customer so you'd better be prepared and if you use them. Make sure you see it run (fixed) when you pick it up. Do not take their word for anything.

The economy has us all looking to make due with what we have and Orange City Equipment is providing this local community service for a large area. Extremely polite and doing the very best for their customers each and every day. This shop repaired my worthless Craftsman lawnmower investment even though it was a brand new "WARRENTY" item that the manufacture would not honor. Thank you so very much for being professional, kind, and courteous even when your customers and boss lack empathy and understanding. I witnessed a lack from both while in the shop to pick up my mower. Folks try to put yourself here no AC in triple digit heat, complaining customers, rude boss, lack of help with weeks/months of work ahead of you. Keep the great attitude your customers see it all.

My wife took our weed eater in, pull cord was broke, also wanted to have the engine diagnosed. We bought our own cord, but it was to thick, they were nice enough to give us the right part, we waited for the engine to be diagnosed, finally after a couple days my wife called them, told the repair would cost $105, that was fine, she told them to go ahead and do the repair. A couple more days passed no response from the shop, my wife calls again, and was told they were waiting for us to authorize the repair we had allready told them to go ahead with. Another couple days, no calls, this time I call, same thing waiting on customer to authorize the repair, for the third time we tell them to go ahead with the repair. Another couple days passes, my wife calls again, speaks to the owner, again waiting to authorize the repair, my wife tells her, not to worry about the repair, she will pay what is owed and pick up the weed eater. Owner told her they were having issues with a "new" system... says that the weed eater needs a new carberator....waiting on the part. Then calls back a short while later, they have recieved the part and fixed the carb. They had our weed eater for 2 weeks. Owner was not the least bit apologetic to my wife when she picked up and paid for our weed eater. Didnt apologize, offer a discount....nothing.....These folks could use help from a business solutions advisor, and serious work on their communications and customer relations skills, needless to say we will not be using this shop in the future, nor will we recommend them to anybody else....Maybe others had better experiences here, but myself and my wife certainly did not. In response to the owners, this is a review and constructive criticism, not an attack on her or her place of business. Very simply, you dont need to reply to every negative review. Theres a common theme in all your replies, an excuse, a finger pointed, and negativity. Very simply, a Mr.Foster we are very sorry you were dissatisfied with your experience, please allow me to try to make it up to you....If we had been called and spoken to and told you were waiting on a part, there wouldnt be a bad review simply put, and I would have understood. But as the owner you need to stop making excuses, show more empathy, and owning up to mistakes, because they happen, none of us are perfect. So please just use this to better yourself and provide a better service to your future customers. Understand you as the owner and your employees have the ability to turn a customers negative experience, into a positive one. It's not personal, its business. Not everyone is going to be satisfied, so understand that, and if you did your best to satisfy the customer, then you have nothing to worry about. Have a great day...

The lady that owns this business is NASTY. She need to learn COMMON customer service, greet customers when they enter and YOU NEVER EVER EVER YELL AT A CUSTOMER!! Takes a LONG time for special order parts to come in, ordered Friday got the part next Thursday, could have ordered from Amazon and had the parts in 2 days. Will not use them unless absolutely necessary. Would NOT recommend them to anyone. She should call and apologize, but I'm sure that won't happen. I feel bad for the pros that have to deal with her. She has great staff but needs more people.

I called this business to inquire about a certain part my mower needs to see if they possibly have it in stock and the woman who answered the phone was snobby, accompanied with a rude demeanor over simple questions. I run my own business and I would never make a potential customer feel as if they are bothering me with their questions when it could potentially bring me business in the future.

These people are the best! I have purchased several pieces of Echo equipment from them and had various pieces repaired. They’re always right on it, with a quality repair and fair prices. Chris at the desk knows absolutely everything and iis a pleasure to work with!

The best customer service you can find. They will work on any outdoor power equipment you have. I had chainsaw trouble and Mike did an awesome job. He took the time to explain what had happened and showed me. You can't find customer service like that anymore. I will only have them service my equipment. They have a grateful new customer for life.

I am calling the BBB about This place they ripped me off and the lady behind the countervis a crook... I went in with a pressure washer with the intent of getting a new recoil and he gave me a part told me to fix it myself .. which if I brought it to you mean I am not a repair guy and I needed to pay to have it done.. but I took it homrnand tryed to repair it myself.. it didn't work the pull cord came off again.. so I took the part back and Mike tryed to return it butbsaid that he couldnt without the lady his wife there I went back 3 times now and today I finally was there when the lady was there and she said I need the box... So long story short I am on my way to rentva pressure washer so that I can clean a house before I paint it . Sad that this place is unwilling to do good business and they rip ppl offand I am out 60 dollars plus tax...

Did not call before work was performed with accurate quote like promised, work was completed fairly quickly (10 days) and Mike was friendly, just did not communicate their policy accurately and boss did not stand behind what I was told. Called on 4/9 and spoke to Mike regarding my blower, trimmer and mower repairs. Fuel line was bad on the blower and I asked for a quote he said between $35-$65. I said, well if it's $35 I'll have it repaired, but for $65 I'm halfway to buying a brand new blower. He said he could call and let me know but that if I didn't do the work it would be $20 for looking at it. I was fine with that. Got a call that the work was done on 04/19 and that it was $69 for the blower. When I explained to the female that called I was told I would get a call by Mike, she put him on the phone. I reminded Mike of our conversation and he said they don't call unless its over $80. I said that's not what you told me before, otherwise I wouldn't have sent the blower. The female, who Mike refers to as the boss, lowered the price to $57. I asked to speak to her but was told she was with customers. Mike then said they don't call unless its over $85, and I said it changes each time you talk to me. They gave me the option of paying $57 or leaving my blower. It's not about the money, it's the principle. If you tell me you're going to call, but you don't and the work is more than what I was willing to pay, the company should stand behind their word. I'm paying the $57, but letting everyone know don't expect a call and just assume it'll be the higher price.

I haven’t bought the first piece of equipment from here but I get treated as if I bought a whole fleet. Always have the parts or they get them within a day. Fair prices fast service and very helpful with questions. If you want some knowledge dropped on you go see the nice lady behind the counter and ask her a question. She knows her stuff. Sometimes I never make it to the counter and just have the part in my hand standing about 3rd in line and when it’s my turn she just hands me the part without even speaking to me. That is knowledge and multitasking at its finest. This is the only shop I go to now. Thanks for treating me like a person.

Terrible owner ripped me off for $900 to fix a engine took to them 2 or 3 times in the past month and and half the original problem has not been fixed massive oil consumption. She told me in our last conversation I had two options leave the mower here and they would probably get to it in two weeks or she would call the police and have me trespassed from her property. I had another encounter with her before and stated to me that if you " really piss me off I will put you at the bottom of the list and won't look at it for 6 months". That's like holding you equipment for Ransome. I was told by Mike that he could fix my machine and that did not happen even after giving them $900. There is a common thread with all these posts and that is how the owner treats her customers and how the disorganized her business. Why doesn't she sell the business there is a lack of care for employees and customers a very miserable soul. Don't use this place if want to get timely and a fixed piece of equipment

I had a mower repaired and it took several months to complete. I actually had to purchase my own part and supply to them. The owner owed me over $200 back for services not done . Took several months and 20 phone calls and finally received a check for only $98.31 not near what was owed but was willing to just be done with it but that check actually bounced. Called to get it resolved and found out she sold the business. I talked with Ed the new owner and explained all to him and his wife but was told he only bought the business and not any the previous owners obligations which we all know when you buy the company you buy everything associated with it. I tried to give the new owner a chance to make it right and just cover the check (not even the original amount owed) or I would be posting this review but haven't heard back from them. I mentioned that in today's world we all read reviews but that didn't concern him. So you have been given a heads up on how this place operates. Read all the reviews and take them seriously, I wish I had.

Dropped pressure washer off that wouldnt start, in addition to other work on 7-19, picked up 9-13. Got it home after almost two months to find its still not running. Opened up the carb to find nothing was done to it- dirt, corrosion and water were found in the carburetor. To be fair I wasnt charged for carb work. However if something that doesnt start is being dropped off, at least make sure it runs before the client pays for it and takes it home. Ive never had any issue in my past visits. Just aggravating to have equipment still out of service after all this. Update in response to owner reply: it wasnt running at your shop as you say cause the oil pressure sensor was also bad. I had to unplug it to get it to run. Case has proper oil level as it was changed per the invoice. At any rate its been replaced and running. Thanks for the offer.

Brought a Cub Cadet 50" mower in for repair seven (7) weeks ago for repair. I was informed it would take 3-4 weeks. Called each week since week four (4) and was given excuses, argumentation from the owner's wife, hung up on, and now at week seven they cannot promise to be done by the end of this week. DO NOT Trust their WORD or do business with them unless you don't mind a probable two (2) month wait for your mower!!!

I dropped off a beautiful old stihl saw that sat in a man's garage and was basically new unused old saw. I figured it needed a new carburetor but thought maybe they could get it tuned right or cleaned out or even just replace carburetor. Ran good but not full power under load. They call me back a week later and tell me it ran for a moment then engine died and is ruined. Piston and cylinder all scratched up and won't run. I believe they took my engine out and put in a old bad one laying around. Stihl 036 pro. I won't be going back there at all. Jesus knows the truth. And is watching time will tell. If im wrong I apologize for the bad review but I dont believe for one second what they say
