Took my 2019 Camry xse for a full audio upgrade. I was a bit hesitant for the fact I get nervous letting my car get opened up but this place came highly recommended by my fiancé who had had previous work done on both her vehicles. I must say much props and respect to this place. They had the patience to answer the questions I constantly Had . Moe and Amin were helpful on getting all my equipment bundled up. Big shout out to my installer Yung who did a superb job not only installing the equipment but also working with me to tune it for what I was wanting. People need to understand and respect the fact that when installing full sound systems it’s not a 2 hour job u need to be prepared and have patience if u want the best outcome I don’t only recommend this place I’ve already directed a few friends to the shop. Installed was a jlaudio rd1000/1 alpine type r 400/4 jl audio w6 and alpine r2 3way component speakers.

I got a stereo system and kill switch for my Jeep back in 2016. Unfortunately in 2023, the amps were near the end of their life. I went back to Pacific Stereo and the team helped me find new and improved equipment that bright new life to my original speakers. With the new tech in my car, Pacific Stereo was great about answering questions and making sure my system was tuned just to my listening style. These guys are responsive, easy to work with, and steer you toward quality products. I’ll be coming back later this year to get some additional tech and upgrades this year.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while but I am just now getting around to it. Sorry for the delay. In August we bought two headrest DVD players and a new touch screen radio system. The guys here are real “car salesman” kind of people. Everything is way overpriced and they talk badly about competitors to make themselves look better. Honestly I am very disappointed with the quality of the merchandise as well as the service of the job and the transaction experience. I should have gone with my gut but I didn’t and now I’m paying for it. Please do your research before coming here so you know what’s reasonable and don’t get ripped off like me. They also did a horrible job in the car. There is a chunk of dashboard missing where they wedged their tool in to take out the manufacturers radio and there is a hairline crack all the way to the airbags. Like I said very disappointed with the quality of the merchandise and the labor. I would never step foot into this place again.

It was a pricey upgrade just like Armin said it would be, but JL Audio doesn’t come cheap either. This system sounds incredible and the installation is great, everything looks awesome and factory. Armin, Moe and the crew did a fantastic job and I’m very pleased with the system. Did I say that it sounds incredible, oh wait I mean it sounds amazing, awesome, and incredible all at the same time. I highly recommend that you get your car audio needs taken care of here. They know what they are doing and will help you get the best possible results for your needs. Thanks guys

I was here because i was getting a lot of their false advertisements on Facebook wanting to help the community. False because they have no customer service skills. You go in their business and instead of getting a cool greeting you get a man bothered because i interrupted him from watching his baseball game and looked like he worked at a farmer's market popping and smuckin his gum. I finally got his attention and explain the issue with my vehicle. He immediately said he can do a diagnosis for $100. Of couse I said yes and a few minutes noy even 15 min when he came out and said I needed front speakers. I told him I wasn't prepared with cash so I would come back. I actually went for a second opinion and this place diagnosis was a scam. My car needed NO front speakers. I went to this place in San Leandro and all my car needed was to be equalized and change the tweeters. Instead of paying Pacific Stereo $200+(with my issue not going to be solved + the $100.00 for the false diagnosis) for speakers I only paid this place in San Leandro less than $200.00. Watch these scammers!!!...

Pacific Stereo Fremont surpassed my expectations and is far more deserving than a simple 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND, undoubtedly the best of the best for several reasons. All those who work there and whom I had a pleasure of doing business with are the most professional, extensivly knowledged and solid guys! Who I would say are top in the industry who offer only top of the line products with amazing cutomer service! When I came in a few weeks ago, I was met by Nate who helped walk me through exactly what I wanted to get out of my system and how to do so at an affordable rate! I was able to literally customize my entire sound system with nothing, but the best of the best which is JL Audio. Might I add that Mo the owner of Pacific Stereo Femront is the one and only person permitted by the owner of JL Audio to CARRY, SELL AND INSTALL at this shop! I have a Ford Explorer and originally intended to have two 12" subs installed aiming to have the insanely loud, thumping bass. I came in pretty well researched (so I thought) on what brands I was looking into which was mainly Skar. I hadn't really considered anything else such as only installing one 12" sub. I went over my idea with Nate who understood exactly what I was looking to get out out of my system as far as quality, sound, vocals and bass. He instead educated me on the different JL Audio speakers and tweeters as well as the proper AMP setup along with only one 12" sub and how amazing the outcome would be with that combination. Definitely not my original idea, but since Nate new what outcome I was looking for along with his extensive knowledge and experiecne I put my trust in him. Which I am so happy, pleased and grateful that I did! I now have the perfect sound system that I've been wanting to get for years! I am so beyond thankful to have had the honor of getting my custome system bought and installed by the gentleman at Pacific Stereo Fremont. Due to the simple fact that If I had gone elsewhere and had not been greeted by someone so knowledgeable in this field such as Nate that I would have ended up paying twice as much for far less quality especially since Pacific Stereo Fremont is the only shop who is able to offer the best such as JL Audio. Note that my stepbrother also got a similar system who has nothing, but the best to say about his system and the great guy's at this shop! If you want the best definitely go to Pacific Stereo Fremont!

Thank you Pacific Stereo and especially Mo Green. You equipped my car with a Viper 3305V car alarm on August 31, 2023 after it had been broken into twice and vandalized. I also equipped it with a steering wheel lock. I parked the car for 14 months and had no worries. Then I started driving it again. The car alarm and steering wheel lock made me feel my car was secure until 2 1/2 months later, the system stopped working. I called Mo, got an appointment, got an inspection and diagnosis . . . the antenna had malfunctioned. Mo replaced it and charged me for 1/2 hour labor. I love local businesses that survive long enough to take care of their customers. Pacific Stereo is an authorized and preferred dealer for Viper which is owned by Directed. They are AWESOME. Mo is SUPER FRIENDLY.

Pacific Stereo Freemont is a classic go to in the bay area when looking to fix up your ride with slap. The offer a wide range of options when deciding on the right setup for your vehicle. The cost is competitive for the work. They mostly specialize in JL audio and Pioneer audio (which is good because those are the best brands when it comes to subwoofers). Whether W6, W7 or Kicker L7 your guaranteed to leave the lot with your windows shaking off the hinges. The only negative is that this location is a little far from San Jose, 16 miles.

Updated review... The owner reached out and invited me back to solve all my issues. They took their time to figure out what was causing my engine noise and gave me the best solution and we fixed it. This is the second car I brought to them. I live in the peninsula and drive here because I trust the work and craftsmanship of pacific stereo in fremont. I came in wanting more bass minus the rattling and nothing too obnoxious and they delivered

I been wanting to give a review and now took my truck there for audio system change all speakers add 2 amplifier and a epicenter with 2 12inch sub they keep my truck for week and a half to do this no costume work after I get my truck back.aweek later something wasn't right and one of the amps was burn why I don't know i purchase what they recommend then after they make pay another $350 for another amplifier (upgrade) after the install i left the place my audio fuses keep burning they use low quality after spend some money I install a d18 fuse my self and fix that issue. And keep having issues so I decide to take it some where else in San leandro (ocs) they fix all the mess from Fremont audio for less the 300 despite i espend 4k and Fremont audio

5-Star Review – Pacific Stereo, Fremont, CA I had a great experience at Pacific Stereo in Fremont. Despite some of the negative reviews out there, I believe many of those come from people who didn’t do their research before showing up. If you come in prepared—knowing what you want, your budget, and asking the right questions—these guys will absolutely work with you. They never pressured me or tried to upsell. I told them what I was looking for, gave them my budget, and they worked with it respectfully and honestly. My full install included a new stereo, amplifier, speakers, subwoofer, knob, and mixing—everything done within just two hours! No, they don’t wear suits or look “corporate”—but that’s because they’re hands-on and ready to get the job done until the customer is satisfied. That matters more than a uniform. My system sounds just how I wanted it to, and I truly appreciate their honest work. Thanks again to the team at Pacific Stereo. Highly recommended for anyone serious about upgrading their sound system the right way
