Pat's Tire Service still provides auto care the way it was done in the 1950's and 1960's. They are professional, honest, and sincere in their car services. I have been going there for over 25 years and never once had a problem or an issue. A company you can trust 100%.

This is the exact type of shop EVERYONE fears and tries to avoid. And I don't leave these types of comments in response to mistakes. I only leave them after I've given the business an opportunity to make things right and they fail to even attempt to do so. Good businesses don't get called scammers regularly in their reviews. Scammers do. As a new customer, I've brought 2 vehicles in just in recent weeks. This week I called to schedule work on both cars but wanted to clarify the work and pricing for the vehicle coming first. I specifically addressed my concern of being ripped off for exactly what I describe below. I needed a simple $40 switch twisted on, which literally takes as long as opening a soda cap. However, just to change the switch, I have to pay $200+ to have the freon removed, then recharged. After completion, my AC was still not working so I paid another ½hr of labor for diagnostics. I don't expect free work or diagnosis, but a good tech could have used his multimeter ahead of time and taken seconds to test the switch. At which he could sell me on a full diagnostic to identify the actual issue. But this isn't an honest shop looking to do the right thing. They're just looking for the quick buck. Keep in mind 1 second of work rounds up to a 30 minute charge. And both the labor for the vac/recharge and the diagnosis are both charged separately, and both times are rounded up. So the work gets done and it turns out my AC was basically dead. My wife gets home with the receipt and I see they charged me $70 for the switch. I called to notify them and they claim they charged me ½ hour of labor, $70, to screw the switch in lol. Despite already paying for work on a running clock, all related to the same job, they charged me a whole new ½ hour of work for literally 4 seconds of work. This is dirty dirty work. This is theft. This is exploitation. And it may be worth risking another $125 to see if a magistrate agrees with me. David, who has no business dealing with customers told me, "I don't mean to be a smart ass, but we gotta get paid." I suggest honest work then David, like your customers that working hard to earn theirs. I thought speaking with managment would make a difference but Douglas was even worse and somehow blamed my wife, who dropped the car off. This is just terrible business. Especially considering I paid $300 just to be told my AC is dead. No honest business would be charging that fee as is, but a decent one would atleast remove the charge at this point. This shop is neither. They are the typical shop looking to scam and exploit their customers. Douglas even admitted they shouldn't have put the part in without a diagnosis. Yet, they did. You have to be a horrible business to not understand the cost of losing my business just this week alone, nevermind moving forward. All over a $70 profit you didn't even earn. In the end, it's a small price to pay and probably saved me much more in the long run. Avoid this business

I came in for a safety inspection. They got me done quickly and noticed a pinhole in one tire. They recommended a patch. I was inspected, patched and on my way in less than an hour. Excellent service. Very reasonable price. 5 stars.

Pat’s Auto came highly recommended to me and it was a legit recommendation! I needed everything, inspection, oil change and AC serviced. They got me all squared away and very thoughtful about it too. I will definitely be back!

Shout out to Jon for being awesome and efficient. We had to come in unexpectedly and they made it easy to get through the process. The manager was super helpful and friendly. The front desk person (who was new) couldn't have been more kind. I will definitely use their services again. They are fairly priced and are honest.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for several years, but when I had my car repaired a couple of years ago, the service advisor was extremely rude. I decided to ignore it, thinking it was a one-time issue. However, I called twice this week to schedule simple maintenance, and both calls were met with the same dismissive, rude tone. It created unnecessary stress and left me feeling like my business wasn’t valued. I’ve decided to take my car elsewhere. Unfortunately, it’s clearly not the welcoming shop it used to be.

Would not take my vehicle here. I always try to support local businesses, but not when they charge double for parts. I paid 2X the price of the part. They charged me $360, when the highest the part is online is $147.99. My brother is a top mechanic at GM and even he said around $200 is the most it should had costed. I went up there to talk to them and ask why? They responded by saying they have a guy who buys their parts and 60-70% up charge was a normal thing.. more like 100% or more. I could had bought the parts two times over and still saved money. Do yourself a favor and take your car to the dealership or trusted mechanic….and SKIP Pat’s Auto-“Up-Charge” Buisness. Just a disappointment..,.. shame Added what they charged $360..to the highest price I could find on the internet. Smh

Great experience yesterday. My car had a flst tire with a huge nail in it. Upon inspection the tire could not be sealed or fixed. Since the the other three tires have another year left on them they proposed a good used tire for now. Then all four could be replaced at the same time later. This place has honesty and integrity. I plan on buying my four tires there next year for sure!

My issue with them is that they don't know how to give a total estimate. They'll call you and tell you individual charges for every little thing. But when you ask them to just simplify it and give you a total, they just itemize everything like they don't know how to use a calculator. I don't get it at all. Services here are overpriced. You have a guy right down the road from them that will treat you right. I get the feeling that they think they're better than anyone else because they have gates around their property. I promise you that you can find better prices, and better customer service within 2 miles. Please shop around. These old school businesses who think they can continue to treat customers like idiots and deliver basic services anyone else in the city can do shouldn't feel like they're special unless they demonstrate that they're worthy of that. Which these guys haven't. At all.

Pat's Auto is my go-to spot for anything car related. They are always professional and stand behind their work. Repairs are usually done by the next day, depending on what you have going on.

5 + oil changes in (since April) and Pat's keeps me on top of things. Because I drive so much per week, all in-town, I really need to stay up on my basic car care things and oil changes are #1. We are both aware of the known issues typical of my car (w/ this certain engine in it) and I feel like they are helping me be mindful of it's known history and the things to be aware of ahead, all with a healthy dash of realism. I appreciate them keeping me aware!

I took my car in due to a low tire pressure issue. I dropped my car off and they had everything fixed for me by mid day. As a female going in to an auto body shop, I felt respected and appreciated. I will definitely take my car to Pats if I ever need help again.

I recently brought my car in for a fuel pump issue, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. David went above and beyond - he worked tirelessly with my warranty company, which was slow and confusing to deal with, and made sure I was always updated on what was happening. I probably talked to him every day my car was in the shop, and he was consistently professional, kind, and patient. After replacing the fuel pump, they discovered a mass air flow sensor issue and made sure to fix it that same Friday so I wouldn’t be stuck without a car for the weekend. The price was fair, everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful, and my car has been running perfectly since. It’s such a relief to have peace of mind when I’m out driving now - highly recommend!

I had an unexpected need for a repair. They ordered the part in perfect timing. I sat in their waiting area with WiFi and charging station , it was clean and comfortable. Dwight waited on me , he was helpful and kind. I’ve gotten an oil change, inspection and the repair at Pat’s. The pricing is good and it’s first come first serve so no waiting weeks for an appointment. A good reputable business!

Pat's Auto Service Center provided great service, quick turnaround time, a clean and comfortable waiting area, and they treated me like a valued customer. I stopped in for a slow leak in the passenger front tire. It was a small pinhole, and very slow leak, so difficult to find. They were thorough, found the pinhole and plugged it. The wait was short, and the price extremely fair. It is rare to be valued as a customer these days, but they treated me as a truly appreciated customer. I will definitely use them for future tire and service needs!
