Best mechanics/garage I’ve come across in the Poughkeepsie area. Professional and quick service. Always straightforward and to the point about what’s going on with your car. I’ve been for little things like an oil change and larger work, too. They’ll tell you what’s best for your car and if they can, give you a cheaper alternative that could buy you some time. I always recommend Paul’s motors when people are looking to get work done.

Paul and team are awesome. You can expect honesty, great work and communication every step of the way. Dont expect to get your car fixed in an hour-- they are a busy shop. But, if you have a few days to wait, you wont regret it!

I really wish there were more mechanics like the gentlemen here. My daughter goes to Marist college and had an issue with her vehicle, we took it here and the service was phenomenal! He was clear on the costs and the repair time was perfect. We had another issue pop up and this place was my go to. My daughter has an older vehicle and I worry at times but having this place around eases my nerves. Prices and costs are very reasonable

Came in as travelers far from home, needing some light repair work. Not only are they the most genial people around, but they fit me in day-of to fix a clogged AC evaporator drain that had ponds forming in the footwells. The next day, they took my van back in to check out the brakes for me. Turned out to be fine, but what price peace of mind? I'll definitely drop by again next time I break down in the Queen City.

I had some electrical problems on my car and as a broke college student I was a little worried about taking it to a mechanic. At Pauls Motors they were very honest and fair with the pricing which I was very appreciative of. They did a great job with fixing the issues my car had and did not try to scam me or anything along those lines. I definitely recommend going to Pauls for any issues your car may have.

Great, honest, trustworthy, professional, and cost effective mechanics. Took my ‘06 Accord in for some creaking I heard in the front end and ended up needing new struts, lower control arms, and cv axles. They did everything they could to keep the cost down and advise me of what work was absolutely necessary and what was not immediately necessary so that I could make an educated decision based on that. Two weeks after all the work was completed, the ball joints unfortunately broke while driving on a turn, snapping the cv axle, despite the ball joints being in good condition when the work was completed. I towed it to them that night and had the car back in less than 48 hours. They replaced both front end ball joints at, honored the warranty for the cv axle, fixed my fender that was damaged during the tow, AND reimbursed me for the tow without even asking them to do so, all of this at no cost to me whatsoever. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you especially to Dean who handled most of it.

Late last year I brought my daughter's car in to get a transmission flush. I just sold the car to a mechanic. When he took the transmission out to replace it, he noticed the fluid was jet black. Indicating that the transmission fluid was never flushed. I've spent 300 plus dollars for them to do nothing.

First and only time bringing my car here they broke my engine mounts fixing my catalytic converter. Of course nobody would admit to and tried to charge me for fixing that after I spend almost 2,000 with them. I don't appreciate being extorted for my vehicle

I got my car towed there for repairs and from what it looks like they went inside of my glove box and where trying to find something of value. My grandmother's bracelet that I haven't touched for years was on the floor. I wouldn't trust them what so ever.
