These folks do a great job on my truck. 4 stars because i think its a little high about $34 for everything but i may be wrong. First full service car wash i have used. They really do a good job you will be pleased

NO STARS NONE Worse place ever I went in at 9:05 am left at 10:03 am half my car was still dirty and wet when they said they were done. I asked to speak to the owner he sent a car was attendant to pass as himself(coward). I then wen to speak to him. I to asked for my money back due to I did not get services I paid for. He denied a refund or to even rewash my truck. He did not even try to remedy their error. In my book he is a dishonest thief. Even if this review does not deter you prepare to spend quite some time there. The workers are so slow. If they get any slower the will be going backwards.

This place is terrible. They stole my mat and then tried to say I didn’t have one! I have given them my last dime. I am disappointed every time I go there. I should know better! I looked in other cars thinking maybe they put it in the wrong vehicle but nope-gone!! I was first car of the day btw. I asked them to look inside employees cars but they wouldn’t!! I get to my car of which I paid $35 and the rims weren’t wiped down, the backseat wasn’t vacuumed, the door jams were filthy! I pointed it out to the manager, he looked and walked away!!! I would leave zero if I could!!

I went there about a week ago, asked for a car detail And to shampoo clean my rugs. Well I was very very dissatisfied, I hate to complain and I never write reviews but it was a real bad job and I want people to know my experience do not go there and especially do not have Jesse detail your car he did a real mess of job on my interior, The outside of the car was OK , Good and could have been better because of the money I paid which was 175 and I gave him a $20 tip, Cause I trusted him And Penguin car wash but that was the wrong thing to do I know.. My rugs took 5 days to dry and they still smell I have to go do him over again but we live and learn right My rugs took 5 days to dry and they still smell I had to go doom over again but we live and learn right ?? My windows Inside the car were sprayed but not cleaned off off ,and my GPS Dash screen ,whateve you want to call it. was not to be used on my screen or car screens period!!.

Not a bad car wash. I got there right after they opened so it wasn't busy. However, the customer in front of me was asked what fragrance he wanted in his car. Having purchased the more expensive option, I figured I would be offered the same. In fact, I wasn't offered anything. There was a lacking of attention to detail and the "clean up" was minimal, at best. As with another review, there was a lack of any type of "plan" or procedure. Only two men were responsible for the detailing. One older and one younger. The older gentleman seemed lost while detailing; as not knowing what to do next. They didn't clean the exterior plastic trim nor the wheel wells and the windows were left spotted. I'd go back but I wouldn't invest the money I did this time. I'll get a cheaper option because that's the service I received.

Incredible service! Went just before lunch time and they were efficient, left my car very clean, went the extra mile without having to do it. Very friendly and pleasant. They have a shaded patio to sit while your car is ready. There's a convenience store inside with many cute out of the ordinary items or gifts for purchase plus an inside accounting spring area with Tv. I will definitely come back. Made me feel special, without the high price tag.

Its alright. Nice to have someone else to do the work but also they kind of half ass it too.......Had an altercation with the new owner when he first took over. I dont wash my car there but my girl has a membership so I'll take her car there.

Very poorly run business. Today there was one car there when I pulled in but after 25 minutes, my car hadn’t been washed yet despite there being numerous employees hanging around. It seems like the formula for an efficient car wash is well established. Why these folks can’t follow it is a mystery. BTW. The quality of work varies a lot from good to awful. There was a black suv in front of me and the water spots were so bad it probably looked better dirty.

I just went to Penguin car wash for a free wash as my rewards card was full. I have lived in Hollister for 14 years. I sold my house in December and stayed with a friend in Gilroy while my new house was being built. I moved back to Hollister in June. Unbeknownst to me, in February the car wash was sold to a new owner. The new owner would not honor my rewards card and said I had to pay for it or he would stop my car from going through the wash. I said ok, stop it, I’m not paying as I thought that was poor customer service. He went to stop it but it was too late and was being washed. He said you are lucky and he then said I owed him $2.00, I said fine and that I wasn’t ever coming back.

$40 car wash and I still need to come home and finish cleaning it. They missed spots on all 4 wheels and there was still dirt on the fenders. We need more full service car wash options in town

Paid $33 for a rain-x and basic wash that included washing the outside of the car, vacuuming the inside, and wiping down the interior. There is smeared bird poop and splattered bugs on the outside of the car. They didn’t vacuum the floors in the backseat. Didn’t clear off the spray they used to clean the windows on the inside on the interior. The woman at the counter was nice when I first paid but then her attitude went straight to rude when I returned and asked if the vacuuming was included because it was not done, and if the dash and plastic around the window were included in the wash. Gone to penguins so many times with such poor quality, will definitely be taking my vehicle to the new car wash about to open.

Clearly, penguins car wash isn't very good at what they do. The two wheels on the passenger side only got half of the gloss, and half the dirt cleaned off. The other two are still dirty, and they still glossed the wheels. The front end wasn't even cleaned. What a bummer tried this place, and well, it wasn't what I was hoping for. especially for the prices they have on their packages.

I brought my car here for a full detail inside and out and they ruined my leather seats in my car! Small tears in all of the seats. They were completely unconcerned or apologetic and said that I had not moisturized my leather seats enough. I've had my car detailed many times before and have never been told that and never had an issue. Will not be back.

I went for a car wash today. I was over charged and the person who answered the phone was very rude. Paid almost $60 leaving that place and was not worth it. They did not take their time on the vehicle and they didn’t clean the inside good at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! It is a ripoff!

I was not happy with there service. still plenty of bug stains, a tire didn't get shined, and I paid for a vacuum service but looked like they gave it a quick pass through leaving so much debris and dirt still in my car Had to got back home to finish vacuuming the car and noticed new scratches on the outside of my car Don't come here if you want an interior clean or something quick. it took an hour just to see the inside not vacuumed and bad job at washing the outside

I've been going to this car wash for many years and recently got a membership at the local subscription car wash that just opened. Been using it exclusively for about 6 months. Went back to Penguin the other day because my interior windows were horrible. They did such an excellent job! Almost as if I had my car detailed. They took so much time on my wheels, they looked fantastic! I'm going to support this business more often. They have been taking a hit because of the new car wash and they definitely deserve my business.
