Had brand new tires installed last year. One of the tires had been consistently losing air, went back a couple of times to the pep boys where the tires were purchased and installed for check and re-airing. The location then abruptly shut down. I went to another pep boys location and they figured out why I kept losing air. Was told the bead was not firmly sealed. Very frustrating after buying new tires then going back and fourth for almost a whole year having to consistently re-air. This was probably my 3rd set of tires purchased from them and the first time I've had this problem but still very disappointing.

Ive been going to Pep Boys for 10+ years. Yesterday, I dropped my car off for breaks, belts, shocks, tune-up, the whole shebang, etc. at 9am and they were finished by 415pm. They kept me informed via phone and email of every step, recommendation, and cost. It was expensive, but what place isn't? Two thumbs up, would recommend.

Pep Boys off Breckenridge Lane was fantastic! I came in on a Friday at noon with a bit of a battery emergency. They listened to my needs, identified a battery in town, arranged for it to be delivered, and told me it would take about 90 minutes to get me back out going again. 51 minutes later I got the text that my car was ready. The man behind the counter who took care of me was fantastic! I am absolutely thrilled that they fit me in on a Friday afternoon to solve my emergency for me. Thank you!

Just stopped by this location to purchase a car battery. My husband stood waiting for the clerk to look up from his phone. He said hello and even whistled to see if he could get a response from the clerk. Nothing. So we walked out. Missed out on a $200+ sale.

Excellent service from manager Gregory and mechanic who fixed my flat tire. I was in desperate need of help and needed to go to grocery and get pet supplies and I had a unexpected flat tire late in the evening on a weekend. The team there got me back on the road in no time!! Very caring and professional people work at this pep boys and I was super impressed! I will be buying tires soon and I will return to this location and recommend highly to friends and family. I’ve been following Tyler C. around to different Pep Boys for years now. He’s now at their Breckenridge location. It’s rare to find someone you trust with your car and I fully trust him. He explains everything to me and I always feel very educated and reassured of the recommendations he gives me. He takes the time to answer any and all of my questions and offers options/suggestions as needed to keep my car in perfect condition. I’m so grateful for him and Pep Boys for the amazing service!

Everyone was extremely rude. Worker on the phone had an attitude when I said I no longer wanted a new tire, and then hung up on me. Worker inside wouldn’t answer our questions about the service or price at all. $100 for an oil change is ridiculous.

Well i wanted AAA to fix my tire. They saud they dont do that. Refer me across the street saying Pep Boys can do it 30 to 40.00. Ok. I get there Shreks body double says they cant fix it. I have to buy a tire for 170 as legally he cant release my truck. I wanted AAA to tow it home. OB/CD wouldn't release it. See above as not enough treads. So i guess the Rescue Rangers and Pep boys have a hustle. I wasnt going to drive it home. An hour away on a flat. When i was told it could be fixed i paid for all terrains a full set at BIG O as i wanted to have AAA tow my truck there. JELLYROLL wouldn't release it. What if i didnt have 170? He tried to sell me a cheap off brand non all terrains for 800. It was awful. They treat people like oh well, you have to pay us. Never again. Oh on the phone he saud he name was elwood. His shirt had diff name. David from rescue rangers...i had a spare btw...but no one could use it they said. Im not trying to shane anyone. But he lied to my face. His manager right there. It was not illegal to let AAA tow it home. They mansplained and old lady shamed me. As they had me bs believing them as i was distraught and didnt know the law. I do now. So im angry. He talked down to me so bad. But they made 170 didnt they. Swindlers and lil David from RESCUE rangers prob charged AAA to refer me to Pep Boys so his buddy could take advantage of the situation. Awful.

I booked online for an oil change and brake job for the next day, and quickly received a notice saying it was confirmed. when I got to pep boys, Stephanie quickly got me in the system and I dropped off my keys, and my car was taken in to inside the shop. I felt no worries and felt my car was in good hands. waited about 45 minutes and boom, car was done and ready. their service is top notch, but the only downside, was I completely forgot to book in for tires, but Stephanie took care of me and booked in an order for the tires, and I go back in a week(due to my busy work schedule) to get my tires installed... woohoo! thanks to everyone there for taking care of me, you guys rock!

My daughter had her car towed to pepboys. Price was so absolutely ridiculous that we had it serviced elsewhere. What happened to this company. No wonder they're going out if business. The pricing culture they have is putting them down. I guess they think their customers are stupid and laughing at them as they drive away. Other reviews say they're quick. Its because they have no business and get you on the road before you know you been hustled. Never, never, never again.

I recently visited the Pep Boys on Breckenridge Lane in Louisville, KY. I'm disappointed that there are no longer any stores in Southern Indiana, but it is in a good location. I went there for a set of new tires which were put on in approximately 3 hours. After about 10 days, I noticed one of these new tires going flat. After 15 days, it was fully flat. Fortunately, I was able to reinflate the tire and get back to the Pep Boys location, albeit across the river from my house. On the second visit, they replaced all valve stems which I felt should have been done the first time. As of now, the issue seems to be fixed. Pep Boys was very competitive on their prices, even though I missed the Black Friday wknd sale by one day. All in all, so far, I'm a satisfied customer.

Do not go to this location. As soon as you walk in Gregory (manager) is rude. I asked if they had a tire or could repair my flat. He stated yes but long wait. I waited more than 2 hours for the tech to tell me I must purchase 4 tires. I just replaced all 4 in January. He quoted me over 900 dollars. I asked for 1 he stated no and for me to be safe. I went to tire discount with no issues
