Jade is on point! She is knowledgeable and looks out for her customers best interest. I appreciated her providing me with exact information regarding the type of battery and warranty, so that I could make the best decision. Even as I sat in the waiting room, another staff member saved a customer hundreds of dollars by conducting an honest tire inspection. The old lady was so relieved that she in fact didn't have to spend so much money. Great place to bring your car and get great customer service- highly recommend Pepboys!

Absolutely amazing people working here checked my daughters brake lights we thought were broke but found it was only a loose wire they tightened the wire and didn’t even charge us! Assistant manager and mechanic were friendly as can be and didn’t try to screw us over

Horrific. Vehicle went in for one thing, they did a lot of other things, but failed to repair the original issue. Now there are other issues that weren't there when it was dropped off, and they are telling me I need to take it to the dealer to get those fixed at my expense. Almost two weeks without my vehicle and it's still not fixed properly.

Let me just say this the customer service is good but for some strange reason my cousin been having a problem with her truck ever since she bought it there she(me) keeps spending all this money and nothing has changed on her car I'm frustrated she's frustrated and she was recommended by someone and that's what makes it even worse she went there for one thing and it always finding something wrong. What bothers me the most is that my cousin truck was not making any noise until she bought it there and that's what she been trying to explain to them but they keep finding other things wrong with her car she just got it out the shop Friday and we still hear the same noise before she put it in something is not adding up and I'm pissed off I'm her cousin and I'm giving her all the money to get her car done something needs to be done before I take further actions this is not Chanda speaking this is her frustrated cousin and another thing I know y'all may be saying her truck is old but let's be clear it didn't start making noise until she bought it there at pep boys in chalmette

Overpriced I recently purchased tires from Pep Boys, and I'm quite disappointed with the experience. As someone who isn't very knowledgeable about cars, I relied on their expertise to guide me. However, I was charged $151 per tire for tires that were already three years old. The store claimed that the tires had not been used and were simply sitting on the shelf. What's particularly misleading is that Pep Boys considers these three-year-old tires as 'new.' In reality, when most people think of 'new' tires, they expect them to be from the current or previous year, not several years old. While it's true that tires can last around seven years, purchasing tires that are already three years old means I'm losing out on a significant portion of their lifespan. Essentially, I'm paying full price for tires that are already halfway through their usable life. I believe it's unfair to charge full price for tires that are not genuinely brand new, regardless of whether they've been used or not. Customers should be informed about the age of the tires and offered a discount accordingly. I hope Pep Boys will reconsider their pricing policy for older stock to ensure a more transparent and fair experience for their customers. I paid $600 for these tires, expecting them to be brand new. Instead, I received tires that were three years old. Shouldn't the shop have at least ordered some actual new tires for that price or a-least let me know they didn’t have “BRAND NEW TIRES” in stock?
