Just want to give a shout out to kevin and his team at major minor auto i took my toyota camry to them because it was having some electrical issues this turned out to be a complexed issue but kevin and his team worked hard on it and wasable to diagnose the issue and fix it and the price they charged was very affordable will definately be going to him again with any future car issues and will refer family and friends

Kevin is the best and I really lucked out finding him! Would not take my car to anyone else! I have an ‘03 Subaru and he is really experienced and knowledgeable with taking care of older cars. He really has your best interest at heart, and fixes problems at better rates than others (esp dealership). He is super generous — came across town to deal with my friend’s tire so she wouldn’t have to tow it all the way to the shop! Go to Kevin!

I’ve been taking both my 03 Subaru and my 87 Cadillac to Kevin for several years now. When I moved to Nola I was sad to lose the mechanic I had trusted at my last residence, I thought for sure I would never have luck to find another good one. I’m very happy that my luck continued- Kevin is supremely trustworthy! For example he thought one of my vehicles needed a new Alternator. I sent the money over and when he got into it realized he could fix it at a lessor cost without replacing it and refunded me! He is great at finding more affordable solutions to problems where other mechanics would take the money and run. He works super hard and definitely deserves more time off than he gives himself. If he ever retires I’ll have to get used to riding a bicycle!

Kevin and his team are top notch. My 2006 Scion XB was diagnosed and I was given a very fair estimate the same day I dropped it off (better service than most car shops I’ve been to). Repairs were completed quickly and correctly. Kevin was excellent with his communication throughout the entire process and made me feel very confident that he stands behind every repair in his shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs their car serviced and/or repaired. You won’t find better in the greater New Orleans area, that’s for sure.

After having my dream classic (79 Eldorado) for 3 yrs, and more than half of that time was dealing with repeating issues at a place that did not live up to its costs.. and that cost me a sizeable chunk of my time and money.. I was about to give up, and sell.. Then I read a review about this place, and then my best friend used his shop. It seemed to fit. KEVIN IS THE BEST! fixed everything I needed done, explained everything to me as he worked, and was more than fair for his time. My Subaru Forester desperately needed a head gasket repair and after some research, this shop came highly recommended. Mr. Major was extremely helpful, communicative, and professional throughout the whole process. Fantastic locally owned small business that doesn't overbook their work so the turn around time on service was quick and affordable! Happy to be a new customer here! There's always a risk when leaving your vehicle in the hands of someone else in the greater New Orleans area. My vehicle was hit during a test drive by someone who was uninsured at a red light. Thankfully it was a literal "fender bender." The shop owner Kevin and his mechanic Brandon did right thing and waited for a police report for hours, covered the cost of a new fender, installed the new part, and even polished the 3 other fenders so everything matched! Kevin even discounted my bill on the work they did (rotors and brakes) for the cost of my Uber/Lyft ride to/from NOLA for a work related meeting I couldn't reschedule!! Wish I’d found this shop years ago! Brought my Subaru Forester here for an AC repair; Kevin was fast, accommodating, and really transparent in his repairs and pricing. Another shop wanted to charge nearly double what Kevin did just to diagnose the problem, before any prospective repairs — whereas Kevin fully repaired it for half as much and dropped his diagnostic fee, saying it didn’t take him enough time to warrant it. Will bring my car here moving forward, highly recommend!

My alternator went out in my car. Mr. Kevin went above and beyond with the repair of my car. He waited for my car to be towed to his shop, the day after Christmas, stayed after hours repairing the car, charged a very fair price and did an exceptional job. I will definately be using and recommending Mr. Kevin for repairs. It's hard to find an honest, kind and considerate person. Mr. Kevin is a very exceptional person.
