Damage to my vehicle. Jack the car up without removing the Jack point covers which cracked the Jack point cover causing it to fall off. Do not take your vehicle here.

Scheduled my routine maintenance on a Sunday (my only day off), and was told upon arrival that the main mechanic is out and will be out for 2.5 weeks and so they can only perform minimal maintenance. I understand these things happen sometimes, but a heads up would’ve been courteous so I am not wasting my day off for nothing. It seems like the business was aware in advance that this mechanic would be out for weeks beforehand. It’s also strange that the whole business is inoperable if 1 person can’t come in. Also when I agreed to buy 4 new tires, they wouldn’t take remote payment which is really odd in 2024. Overall just not very respectful of my time

After waiting for :30 min at Discount Tires just to have some assess my tire rotation/ balance request and being told it would be another 1.5 hour to actually get my vehicle on service bay, I headed to Pep Boys. It took me approximately :45 min. to check in and out and a wealth of service information. Angel {front desk attendant) was very knowledgeable and informative.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:30 I get to the store an hour ahead off time, they where having trouble finding my tires after a worker signed off for them 1 week prior, when I finally find them they tell me even though my appointment is at 2:30 it’s a 4 hr wait that’s so unacceptable

My wife took her Volkswagen Tiguan back in June for an oil change. We usually go to the dealer but thought it would be cheaper. I don't know what they did but 1 day later oil was leaking everywhere and it destroyed the serpentine belt. Meanwhile we are saving money to repair the leak. A few months later we take the car to the dealership and the oil has destroyed almost all the seals, a total of $6,000 worth of repairs. Maybe they don't know how to service european vehicles, I don't know, but we're never going there again.

I made my appointment a day in advance and when I arrived at the store they told me they didn't have any staff to change my oil. That was frustrating because they wasted my time and the guy had poor customer service.

We have been LONG time Customers of Pep Boys for over 15 years. We went in for tires replacements and they recommended and certain tire explaining that these were like, kind and quality. We took advice since we are not tire experts and when w picked up the vehicle the tires highly changed not only the appearance but the drive of the vehicle. When we went back in they admitted they recommended the incorrect tire. We then had to pay additional to get the correct tires. One month later we had a complete blowout of a tire and when we called for replacement they informed us that because on the swap, our tires were no longer under warranty. This was NEVER communicated to us. Because we were desperately in need of a tire we asked if we could pay over phone. Instead they said they would send link for payment but never did. So here we are at discount tire having to pay for a mistake and misguidance provided by PepBoys. PepBoys lost a long time customer

Brought my car in for low tire pressure. They said they were having trouble with the wheel lock and they were scared to break it off. They stripped the wheel lock and one of the lug nuts on 8/13. Brought it back on 8/14 to the manager who told me his technician did not do this and I needed to leave. Called corporate and waiting on a response. Beware of this location!!!!

Angel helped me at the 610 North Store and the service was excellent. I had a flat tire that was not repairable. Replacing one tire did not make sense given the status of the other 3. He offered a good deal for 4 with a complete alignment of all 4. In and out in 3 hours. Great work.

New valve stems were not put on my vehicle on the two new tires that I had purchased. The receipt showed that I had paid for them. As soon as I got home I had a flat tire from one of the old valve stems failing. I changed to the spare tire and drove back to the store. They replaced the one failed old valve stem right away and said that my car was ready. I inspected the other new tire and noticed that they did not replace the second old valve stem that was left on the new tire. I asked them to replace the other old valve stem that was left on the tire, waiting again for them to fix this, instead of inspecting this the first time. Initially, they did not put the tires on in the specific positions that I had asked multiple times for. All of this is on top of purchasing the tires, booking an appointment, and showing up to the appointment only to wait an hour in the lounge after checking in, when they tell me that my tires were not even at the store. The valve stem fiasco was my second trip to the store when they notified me that the tires had arrived. The lack of attention to detail is unbelievable. I will not be coming back to a pep boys ever again.

Pep Boys on the North Loop did a great job with my front end alignment. They were a head of the scheduled completion time which was great because I was waiting. The only issue I had was they could find my lifetime alignment payment receipt previously purchased and told me I had to bring it in. This was a change as the last alignment they had it in their system.

I went in for an oil change and fuel system cleanse at 9am. Checked update log every hour. No progress made at 5pm, 6pm. Then received a cal at 650pm. I didn't get a sticker for next oil change (even though I know when to change oil) plus oil life on my truck was still at 85%. So I highly doubt they changed my oil.

Giving one star because can’t give less to write a review. Went today for an oil change with an appointment, two hours later they had not started working on my car. When I asked the guy in the front, he said it would be like two more hours. When I questioned what was the point of an appointment he said that’s just to hold a spot for my service to be done the same day. I told him I used to come here before all the time and it often took less than hour. He said started to say something about how they have changed management several times and that’s how they run business now.I just asked for my keys and left. They lost my business today…

I gave this place one star because they won’t let me rate it zero. I went there today for a tire pressure sensor with an appointment. Two hours later, they hadn’t even started working on my car. When I asked the guy at the front, he said it would be a little while longer. I had the appointment at 10 am, and I got the location at 9:45 am. When I questioned the point of an appointment, he said it was just to hold a spot for my service to be done the same day. Three hours later, they still couldn’t find the leak. The heater didn’t work in the waiting area, and I was there waiting for five hours in the cold! It was the worst location to go to. The employees were inside talking, eating, and on their phones. There was no sense of compassion at all. This is my only day off, and to be here for five hours in the cold is just nonsense.
