This is the best customer service I found in this island. In my case they told it was going be a while that my issue was very technical, they did a variety of diagnostic test and even test drive the vehicle, I was there ffrom to 10 to 5 ,but they told me it was going be a while that I should get lunch, they me they want to get to the root of problem. I was very impress, after my test they pin pointed the problem. These people are really fantastic.

I have 2000 Chrysler Intrepid 2.7 engine, 6 cylinders. My vehicle overheated, had locked wheel-brocken caliper and also needed brakes. Got my vehicle back in a few hrs ×with a walk on emergency situation. I was far from my home. The shop employees/service desk showed me exacly the issue. Pepboys had brakes promo and got military discount added. Very happy as the issues were resolved and made it to my destination.

Went there spent almost $900. On tires and a battery because car steering wheel is shaking very bad and as soon as I get in car my car saying tires low on air the tech did not fill them to the required air and auto start not working. So he had to come take car and fill tires.They don’t even know they have to reset the auto starter after changing battery and the worst is that I get home and the car smells like burnt brakes.. they said they inspected but two days later steering wheel shaking again worst.. took to another place they said it’s a bad caliber. Pep boys said they inspected. I knew something was wrong when I got home and smelled that burnt wheel smell 🤦🏻♀️. And be ready to wait a lot and the app that keeps you to to date that they send you does not even work it never changes status from checking in. The counter man is very nice but techs working on cars is suspect because they can’t find what really is wrong with your car. SO I took back and of course they say it MUST have happened when we left. We took it there for shaking.. and theres an excuse always from them for a reason but not there fault to find why they did not do there inspection correctly n you spend money on other things then the reason it was shaking.

I receive Emails with discount but here in Hatillo, PR don’t honor them. Also the military discount is only 5%, NOT 10% like most places and seniors is CERO(0) discount. Why????!!

They were great today! My 61 month old Pepboys battery died after leaving my interior lights on for 3 days and their glass mat battery was on sale, and even though I wanted them to load test my old battery to be sure it was toast, I was in and out fast after ordering online. The new battery has a 48 month warranty which beats the competition and it cost less, and unlike the two nearby competitors it was in stock! My truck, not pictured, cranks in a split second now! My 3 year battery lasted for 5 years so I am optimistic about the new one, and yes I recommend both the battery and Pepboys!

Be prepared for the longest wait ever, customer service is ridiculous. I watched the guy working on my car bullshiting with one of his buddies in a vette outside instead of doing his job. If I did my job like this, I would be unemployed. Customer service every where in PR is a joke!

The air conditioning in our car did not work. Which is not what you would call life-sustainable in Puerto Rico. We went online late in the day and made an appointment for the next morning. A technician, Nelson, gave us immediate attention. After 20 minutes he took us to the shop and explained to us his exact diagnose. His manager then printed an estimate for us. We came back the next day and they made the necessary repairs. Nelson showed us the condition of all the old parts he removed. All mechanic shops should treat customers and have the know-how like this Pep Boys.
