Made an appointment for 8:30am and dropped the car off at 7:30 before work and left the keys in the drop box like we always do. Come 4pm I call to check up since I haven’t heard anything all that and come to find out they never checked their drop box and tryed blaming it on there not being a note stating that. We have been customers for years and have done the same routine each time since we work early. What’s the point of the drop box of you don’t check it. When I spoke with Luis ( manager ) he says it is not standard for anyone to check their drop box daily.l, even though my car was parked right outside their garage all day. Which seems pointless to me. I was going to get an alignment, new tires, total fluid flush but because of the negligence and unprofessional service I probably won’t be returning. Carlos has always been super helpful and able to get things done especially when there is an appointment set in advanced. Maybe reconsider who you have running your shop.

I made a 9am appointment for an oil change and they told me it would take 1.5 to 2 hours! I'm sorry what?!?! Even with an appointment?! It took them about 3 hours!!! This is ridiculous. There were others that came and went before my car was even done. Not happy.

They were nice. But I have no faith that they actually did the work I paid for. When I left I asked if they had checked all my fluids because the light in my dash was saying washer fluid was low. They said yes. I didn’t see the light come on until the next day when I was headed out of town. So, they didn’t check and didn’t top it off and said that did. I ended up filling it myself. Will never trust Pep boys again.

DO NOT COME HERE. They are not a business of their word. I was stranded on the freeway left with the choice of paying $300 from a tow company or getting a tire from them for $175. My friend went to get the tire for me at 6:30pm. I was told that if she arrived any time before 6:45pm they would sell her the tire and mount it. Once she arrived they said that they couldn’t mount it but sold her the loose tires. I then got a tire and got it mounted at Costco for $150 a better price. Next morning I come to return the tire since it’s no longer needed and they said “we don’t accept returns on loose tires”. Knowing it’s unused, hasn’t even been 24 hours and that I wouldn’t be returning it if they would’ve kept their word and mounted it. Terrible business!

I did oil change at 2705 E Thompson blvd Ventura. Enrique Martinez was very rude to me and unprofessional. They did oil change on my car, they couldn’t reset the service required thingy. He said I should take it to the dealership for them to reset it. I was like bro, you don’t know what you doing. Btw it’s a one star for me.

I came in to get tires for a road trip from Ventura to Seattle. Enrique recommended a cheaper tire than what I was interested in, the kuhmo ht55, I trusted him and they worked out great, it rained a ton on my trip and the tires held up and maintained good traction the whole way up, never slipping in constant wet/icy conditions. 4 tires plus install and balance for $400, they even gave me a free alignment. Thanks for the good work

Got stuff stolen out of my car after leaving it here for 4 hours to get a new tire replaced 2/21/2026. I come back to try to get my stuff back the next day, after realizing it, and of course the camera/screen isn’t working right now. Figures. NEVER COME HERE. Being 6 months pregnant this is not the stress I need, and for the manager Enrique be so whatever about it, it must happen a lot. He said the guy that worked on my car had been there for 30 years and would not have taken it. Bull Crap! Trying to cover before even “looking” at the cameras!! I would give them a negative stars if I could. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICES HERE!

Enrique was awesome, the bearded wonder in the garage (didnt catch his name) was super kind and friendly as well. Really the best service and the little app updates dont leave you wondering the status of your car. They were quick, competitively priced, and have the best communication.. and Enrique up front, was busy as all heck answering 20 phone calls all while showing sense of urgency to the phone calls, and still had a calm demeanor in his voice while dealing with Me in person. Overall A1 between front of house and garage. I wont go anywhere else, unless those workers do.

Extremely bad experience. What they care about is taking more money from you, not helping you solve the problem. I made an appointment for 10:30 AM at midnight, but when I arrived, they told me they do not accept same-day appointments, which made me waste a total of four hours there. I was attending an academic conference in Ventura that day, and this completely ruined my schedule. I had a puncture in one tire. They claimed it was too large to patch, but did not explain why, and instead tried to charge me $800+ to replace all four tires. I asked for a temporary repair so I can still drive the run-flat tire for a short distance to a dealer for the required run-flat tires, but the staff refused. He said that because I did not want to see their work order, they simply reinstalled the flat tire. The staff showed no patience or willingness to help. In the end, I had no choice but to replace a single tire for $280 just for a one-time drive to the dealership, and then they made me wait another two hours in the queue. I can only say: do not go to this location. Find a privately owned shop with better reviews.
