I gave Mike and Performance Auto Sound my complete trust to design my car stereo. I listened and took their recommendations. It's the best sound system I've ever had and one of the best I've ever heard. At the max volume, my sound system is as crisp and clean as at normal volume. I love it. Got a quote for Stereo and all the installation material / labor. price matched other Kenwood online vendors, which was great. I wanted parking brake bypass, so I used another vendor. Guy working could have been way more friendly, despite me saying i only wanted an estimate. this was after they said they said they prefer a face to face estimate.

Mike and his guys at Performance Autosound are amazing!! I have used them to install remote starts, satellite radio, boat stereos, and i purchased my radar detector there! Customer service is so so so good! Ruppert is always good at remembering names, which makes customers feel so welcome, like we’re actually friends! I always feel like they are fair in their recommendations and their prices, and they do high quality work! I have no intention on going anywhere else for my stereo needs! PLUS, they offer headlight resurfacing for safer headlights when driving at night!

After my trailer full of my tools for work got broken into twice, I had enough and went to talk to the pros (Mike and Rupert) at PAS to see if there was an option for securing the system. Wow! Their product knowledge is fantastic! They set me up with a Compustar alarm using the Drone system so that I can receive alerts on my phone if the alarm is triggered, track the trailer via GPS if it is stolen, and remotely activate and deactivate the alarm. The price for the system was less than my insurance deductible, and I feel it was very fair given the clean installation and attention to detail (They even wired the lights on the trailer to flash when the alarm goes off!). I wish I had done this years ago! I now have had this system installed on 2 of my trailers as well as my truck. Go to PAS if you want to work with professionals who will do it right!

Mike, Rupert, Alex, and Johnny are all very helpful. Are also very understanding as well, they do offer payments through credit as well I have personally been going to performance for 8 years now and I will continue going to them for my projects. They are honest, trustworthy and by the book. There installs are prestine and very clean. I 100% recommend this shop and only this shop they have amazing costumer service and knowledge about car audio equipment.

Horrible customer service and no warranties (apparently)... "If you pay for a new stereo we will install it". I spend $1500 on a new stereo system for the CarPlay and backup camera, and I'm 7 months in.. the stereo works about 60% of the time, the other 40% it won't connect to any phone... It's super frustrating. However, this is still not as annoying as the backup camera, which works about 20% of the time. The attached photo of a blank screen is what happens some of the time, the other times the screen just scrolls from top to bottom like an cartoon movie real when it is being started. When neither of those happen, the screen works, but flickers, and the "guides" are usually a foot to the right of the left.... I called and spoke to a manage or two, and their response to my new stereo and camera and their response was "Sorry your new stereo is defective.If you'd like to update your stereo to a new model, you'd like to pay the difference on a faster stereo, and the install, we would be happy to replace it. Bring it in in 5 weeks and we will take a look." So the answer to a $1500 defective stereo and camera is to say, come pay another $500, plus installation charges, and we will replace it. Save yourself the time and effort, and go somewhere else.

GAME CHANGER!! Johnny and Mike were so awesome. I had no idea what I was doing in this place and they ensured I didn’t feel like a dummy. I said- “I drive a lot. This is an older car, but maps and car play aren’t worth buying a new one. How can I get those things?” Johnny gave me a bunch of options and talked me through the pros and cons of all. We narrowed it down and got this Kenwood magic installed within 24 hours. Mike walked me through it once it was installed and was super helpful in other tips and tricks I wouldn’t know about. I was super concerned about sound quality and appearance a long with function. It looks so beautiful!! Seamless in my dash and pretty to look at (compared to the old CD player on the floor).I wish I hadn’t wasted money on stupid Amazon Bluetooth attachments. This was totally worth it. Also pumped about the usb Jack they swapped for my cigarette lighter and the service guarantees they provide.

I had an awesome experience at PAS, I went in for a new subwoofer setup to replace my current one installed by another shop. Long story short I had a very poor install previously. PAS explained to me the risks of my current setup and if I upgraded to what the other shop said was okay there would be a risk of fire. PAS communication was on point and gave me updates throughout the day as the new system was installed. So far very happy and worth the investment in sound clarity, install work and overall customer service. Not to mention Thier INTENSE knowledge on every aspect of audio equipment. thanks PAS!
