Was driving across the country in a few days and needed an oil change and brake work. I prefer going to local small businesses for anything and saw their reviews and figured I would go here. I was very satisfied. They were able to begin working on my car immediately. It needed alot of work, however, they got it done in a timely fashion. I know the shady things some auto shops can pull, but these people were honest and very friendly, not trying to upsell me or replace things that didn't need to be. I made it across the country with no problems, brakes worked perfectly. I think that is a testament to their high quality and honest work. Don't hesitate with this place, take your car here. In a world where a man who still self identifies as a man is gradually being pushed into minority status. I am not ashamed to reveal that I have entertained dreams of being a professional race car driver many times. Complete with a Jeff Gordon level pit crew and mechanics. Well although that fantasy may never happen, the closest thing to that which I may ever experience is having mechanic extraordinaire Darren repair my Nissan Altima. With all the polite courteous manners of an Emily Post School NBA and all quickly and at a fair reasonable price. Schedule an appointment with Deborah for all your automotive needs. As Tina Turner would have said “Darren is simply the best”.

For 40 years and counting, I have had the good fortune to have an auto mechanic who is honest, knows my driving habits and maintains my car accordingly. When repairs are needed, they get it done the first time, and they don't take advantage of me because I am a woman. The Peterson's are honest and have allowed me to drive 2 cars more than 18 years each, and the third one is going strong after its first 14 years. I have taken my car here for YEARS (at least 11 years) and they have always delivered top-quality service with extremely fair prices. One time, there were three pretty big items to service ($$$). They broke it down honestly and said which one I should get done immediately, which one in the next month and which one in the next two months. It helped spread out the finances and still kept me running. If something isn't returned to 100% satisfaction, just bring it back and they will make sure it is. I have recommended Peterson Auto to all of my friends here in LA!

I've trusted my Jeep to Darren before so this was at least my 2nd time returning for service. I had a unique problem with my ignition actuator hardware preventing the Jeep from turning over.
