Thanks to Kevin and the techs at Polar Bear. After putting up with an A/C issue in my F-150 since I purchased it 8 years ago they nailed it. The dealer and my mechanic had been telling me it was an inadequate design for that year and to just accept it. We have been on a 3 week road trip through all types of hot weather and have never been this comfortable.

Polar Bear saved me over $1000! Got a quote at another shop after they recharged the AC and they told me I had a leak that would cost $1,500 to fix. I took it to Polar Bear who did an accurate diagnostic and there was no leak. They fixed it the same day and the staff were so very friendly - just like family. Highly highly recommend this shop!

After having gone all summer in a heat wave without AC, this was quite a welcome repair! I dealt primarily with the lady in the office and she was great, however one of the gentlemen (who appeared to be in some priority role at this business) couldn't keep himself from making a political comment that was ignorant and racially offensive. People, especially those in business, should learn to keep their political and religious opinions to themselves. You're not doing yourself any favors when you leak on your customers. Aside from that my experience here was pretty good. The work was done when they said it would be, communication worked well in both directions, and I now have cool air in my vehicle.

These guys are great! I had brought my Dodge Ram Hymer RV to Dodge to repair the A/C system twice, for more than 1 months time. But Dodge could not determine why the A/C system was temperamental. They said “we’re sorry” and had us pick it up. A friend who owns an auto detailing shop recommended Polar Care. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it within a few days. I truly truly wants to thank POLAR BEAR for fixing my AIR CONDITION. I will not go into a Long description of my experience at Polar Bear Auto Care. I will say that no one should ever do business with this establishment. DO NOT GO THERE! Response to owner, To the tune of 4890 dollars you filled the refrigerant and then evacuated it back to 7 ounces. Why, also wanted 137 dollars for the privilege of using my debit card. You basically wanted to replace my entire a/c system for more than the value of my vehicle. You sent me text about all this instead of calling me to explain. I find your business practices unprofessional.

We've been doing business with Polar Bear for years! We started with them because they specialized in AC. Now they do most everything for our cars except body work. They are honest, caring, and hardworking. And they only laugh with you, not at you, when you tell 'em "my car is making a funny squeaky clunking noise." They usually fix it right the first time, but if not, they guarantee their work, parts and labor!

This is our 3rd time using Polar Bear Auto Care, and I can say they are honest and explain things thoroughly. If you have questions they have answers. We had our A/c fixed last visit. This time we had them check an oil leak, tune-up and oil change. Fast service and dependable. When we got our truck back we noticed a nice small touch. The small plastic slider buttons had been broke for some time on our heat and ac cluster. And we had just been sliding the little metal pieces. They replaced them for us and said not a word. What a nice little bonus. Thank you Polar Bear for the small things and the honesty.

Excellent experience. We have a 94 suburban that was not used for 10 years so AC needed special attention and given 31 year old truck needed some custom hoses and other parts. Polar Bear mechanics worked their magic and brought the system back to life. Blows super cold and we are super happy. I'm just North of Los Angeles, hired Polar Bear Auto for a Pre Purchase Inspection regarding a 2010 Dodge Ram purchasing in Sacramento. Front and Rear Rotors were found to be at 1mm safety threshold / by law - needed to be replaced, rack and pinion leaking - needs replacement, CV boots torn and leaking both sides, inner tie rod has play- needs replacement, struts and bushings - left front is leaking, exhaust leak. They were great. Very thorough and basically saved my @$$... If I signed on the dotted line without having the inspection performed I would have been on the hook for $4K in repairs in addition to the purchase price plus shipping the truck ($475) to me..😳YOUCH. 😳 Recommend Polar Bear Auto Care highly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Highly recommend! Friendly, knowledgeable, INTEGRITY! I brought my 2017 DenaliHD to them thinking I may have a some kind of leak in my AC system because of the lack of cold air after using it for the first time after a cold winter. The team figured out it was a connector at my AC compressor that was loose, and fixed it within the diagnostic rate. I’m glad I went with these AC specialists over the dealer or just a regular shop.
