Very bad Experience The mechanic just tell me lies and give me unbelievable expensive prices. Just for check my car and do nothing. They want to charge me $240 dollars. The woman very racist and talk me very bad. The worst experience in my life.

If I had zero stars to give to this company that's what I would give them. Some time ago we took my wife's Volkswagen Tuareg to be repaired at Porboys. There was a problem with the drive shaft. They took over a week to fix it, the owner complained that he "broke" his tools on my car and had to buy new tools, and he went over the estimate he gave me by $250. With all that, I was happy to get my car back and chose never to go back to Porboys again. Well the knocking and vibrations came back so I took the car to Volkswagen. They sent me a video of my drive shaft broken again and the AFTER MARKET (cheap!) parts that Porboys had installed and charged me top dollar for ($1850)! So now I have to pay over $2000 to repair something that should have been repaired correctly the first time. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN! I will not even tell my worst enemy to go to Porboys for a repair!! If you want repair work done go anywhere but this place. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Sincerely, an extremely unsatisfied customer

Was considering buying a 78 MBZ sl450, and had Joe do an inspection before doing so. For a small fee he was willing to do a head to toe inspection, consult me on the purchase and basically walk me through all the possible issues, pros and cons of owning the vehicle. Even gave me his best assessment of the value, which was far lower than the asking price. Really passionate and helpful guy and the kind of mechanic who will build a personal relationship with you and your vehicle. If I lived in the area he'd be my go-to.

Spoke with Joe, he was extensive on explaining the intricacies to my situation and advised on what were the best options for me. He proved he was a real expert in this subject matter and offered a lot of insight unlike other shops I tried who ultimately just wanted to charge without explaining what for. Ultimately it was best to save the money and invest in a newer vehicle. Although I did not get work done here, I’m confident in their abilities and expertise and would absolutely use their services in a different scenario.
