Probably one of the most frustrating self service carwash I ever been. Good luck fight the over head hose swings in this undersize narrow bay , the brush head was far to long to achieve a decent scrub and bent. Hose broken, causing black stains on hands half the items didn't work or was out . Got Soo frustrated I just left to find another carwash. This was my second attempt. Nope never again And this is a fairly new place.

It's awesome having a 24/7 carwash in New London - I wish this automatic wash would work better. Even paying for the best wash, there is leftover residue, bird droppings, debris on my car - even soap! The automatic wash needs some work. The wash bays are better value for money - if you're quick you can do a better job and be out for under $15.

$15 for what I could have done myself just by standing there with a hose. I was skeptical of a touchless car Wash but my usual car wash on Coleman street is shut down temporarily. My skepticism was validated by the fact that my car is still dirty. I won't return Okay I lied. I did return. I figured I would give them a second shot since the other car wash is still closed and they are really close to my home. This time I pre-soaked all the seagull poop on my car with waterless car wash spray and let it soak for about 5 minutes. This car wash still didn't get it all off. Even with that assist. I don't get it. If you're going to put a car wash right near the ocean shouldn't you design it so it can remove seagull poop from a car? Also, I have a ceramic wrap on my car so dirt is supposed to come off easier. If I could give negative Stars I would.

Used the self wash. Charge is $5 for 5 minutes. However the credit card system used is confusing and I ended up being billed for two $5 sessions even though I washed for less than 5 minutes. No indication while at the car wash what the accumulated cost is. There has to be a better system to provide customer with charge info and for the customer to accept prior to authorizing. Also there was supposed to be a horn when have 1 minute left. I didn't hear anything. The equipment and bay were in good condition. Hard to tell if I'll go back, but I think I understand the credit card system better.

Decent job as I usually have to wipe the vehicle down of spots missed when home. 24 hour availability is convenient but for five more bucks - go to soapy noble in East Lyme where it’s done right and a person monitors the wash. For a newly updated wash posh wash should be better but like mechanical apparatus it needs to be serviced regularly

I wouldn’t call this a “wash” I would compare it more to driving your car through a very weak sprinkler. It didn’t wash anything off my car. My car looked exactly the same as if it drove through a light sprinkle in the summer. I’m sure this would be nice if you had a car that just needed some dust from sitting in a garage taken care of but even that I would be weary.

Put $20 in for a wash and the machine was out of change and said see cashier for my change. Couldn’t find anyone or get ahold of anyone on the phone. I left a message, haven’t heart back. My boyfriend also put money in a few weeks ago and it took his $17 and didn’t start the wash. He also called and left a message and hasn’t heard back.

This location needs to be better taken care of by the owners. Based on other reviews it appears to be a theme. I would not give my business to them again at this time. - Neither of the two automatic machines would accept a credit card. So I inserted $20 cash and then the machine did not have enough change to dispense so it kept my change. - I called the owner about both of these issues, as their posted sign asks customer to do. However, they instead thought it was appropriate to explain to me how a credit card works - with a magnetic strip versus with a chip. Disrespectful. I replied back that is not the issue (as I had just used it for gas), I was not using my card incorrectly, and the issue is their machine. - Lastly, the dryer on the drivers side was not working correctly so I left with water on half my car. I’d rather pay more for better service.

I often use this carwash for my monthly car washes, especially throughout the winter. This particular day, I was planning to use the vacuums and the car wash. Someone was at the car wash, working checking the machines and maintaining the vacuums. After I vacuumed, I drove around back toward the automatic car washes, but I was having trouble with a machine reading my card. The gentleman working / I believe who owns the car wash came over to assist me, and when the machine was still giving me trouble, he went out of his way to make sure that I still got a car wash and could return later to pay. It is not often that people trust nowadays, and it was refreshing. With a smile, he told me to have a good day and I will return again.
