I've taken my WV GTi and my BMW 528 to this shop and have had the very best experiences! I highly recommend Bill, as he is a super technician, business person, and all round nice guy. Dealing with Bill, Liz, and the crew at Precision Automotive has been a real pleasure. I will continue to use their services in the future.

I had a Mini Cooper Clubman that I really enjoyed driving. When repairs were necessary on my Cooper, I first took it to BMW for help and that was a very bad decision. I searched for another means for service and I found the team at Precision Automotive. They made each visit very comfortable and pleasant. Repair or service was explained thoroughly and they kept in touch frequently. On one instance they went beyond what was expected and I was very thankful. Highly recommend this company.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful with the issue with my car. They also found something else that may end up being a big problem. I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is a common feeling when it comes to taking your car in somewhere for something you have no idea about. Only downside was they are very busy, but it's good because it lets you know how popular and well known they are. When they got to my car they got it done quickly.

Bill, Liz, Rob and all the Precision team have always been open friendly and professional. Actually, professional is almost not good enough to describe them. Bill has gone over and above in his work exploring the issues that have occurred in my two Mercedes. I strongly recommend him and his team to anybody.… As long as you have a German car.

I have been going here for 3 years with my bmw 435i GC. Nothing less than phenomenal is how I would describe this business. I got a quote from the dealer and these guys beat the price by $700 and I got the car back in well under 24 hours. I have never had service like that anywhere. Excellent communication as well. Liz is great. My wife has a business and when I got home I told her now these guys do great invoices! I’ve never seen an invoice so clear. It’s clear and festive for the holiday season and has a bmw logo in the background, and it’s very easy to read which is rare on an automotive invoice. I wish every business was as awesome as these guys. German cars are what they specialize in, BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche.

We were traveling through from Oregon to Texas when our '63 MGB starter failed and we were referred to Bill & Liz by both a competitor and a parts dealer. First, they were very kind. Very understanding. And Very patient with us. Bill and his team were responsive and communicated clearly. They provided an accurate estimate in advance, and worked hard to get us back on the road as their priority. The reassuring way they communicated along with the way they expressed empathy combined to create a sense of trust in them and in their work. Their repair work was excellent, and we completed our trip without another problem. As an automotive repair shop owner in Fort Worth, Texas, I appreciated and was inspired by their service.

Liz and her husband were GREAT! Let me start off by saying I am not from Bakersfield. My Mini broke down on the grapevine and I relied solely on customer reviews to decide where to have my car towed. Precision Automotive took care of me right away. Their sense of urgency was amazing. They were very detailed in their explanation of what they were going to do to my vehicle and the total cost. Their price was reasonable and their service was exceptional. I highly recommend them!

Unexpected detour on the 223 in the middle of nowhere and had to call AAA. Precision towing responded a half hour earlier than expected. The ride was very comfortable and Erik was very cool and helpful, super friendly and drove perfectly. I would definitely recommend these guys. Heroes in the heat!

The service I've received at Precision Automotive on multiple occasions the past 12 months has been outstanding! Rob and the other staff members have been courteous, honest, and they are my go-to for anything involving maintenance/repairs on my BMW. I feel relieved knowing that there is a local, trustworthy establishment that I can rely on to professionally handle any issues that I, myself, am unable or unwilling to handle (I do a lot of DIY on my E46 and my Miata). Speaking from my experience--if you have a BMW, don't hesitate to reach out to them for service. I would trust them for other European car brands, as well. Support awesome local, small businesses like Precision! Avoid the "stealership", if you can!

I had an old motor that was on its last leg so I took my car to precision for a motor swap. They sourced, and replaced the motor for me. They made sure I was always up to date with what was being done to my car. They also brought other issues I don't even know about to my attention and always asked me if I wanted the other problems fixed before starting on the extra work. The staff is professional and friendly. They did great work on the car and it runs great now thanks to them. They're honest, up front with you, and provide excellent customer service. I can't thank them enough for getting me back on the road again! Thanks to staff that got my car back on the road!

Honest guy. Reliable. Doesn't try to upsale you nonsense parts. I asked what would be best for replacement parts other than factory he recommended updated gear to eliminate the recurring issue with Ford stock gears. Had new gears installed in a Dana 80 dually rear end. Even accepted the challenge with axle removed from vehicle. Also with the gear dismantled from the differential. They also did a wonderful job with masking their peur irritation, or maybe frustration first thing that morning digging around with the diff cover bolts submerged in nasty @$$ gear oil. Very professional. Will recommend to other people. With all that said. When I asked how long. He responded with how soon I needing it back. I responded back with. I wasn't looking to be put at the top of the list but at the same time I didn't want to be at the bottom either. Had it back within a week. Knows how to please and keep a customer happy and for long term.

One of the cleanest and kindest shops I've ever gone to. Never been to an auto shop that made me feel like family until coming here. Even the office dogs were welcoming. I needed some simple work done on my Mazda (oil change and Rear motor mount replacement). They were quick, kind, professional and HONEST. Bill and his wife are a power couple and its great to see a couple love and work together so well. John was so kind and thorough letting me know what concerns he had about my car besides what I brought it in for (brake pads and rotors) and let me know that they will need to be replaced ASAP. I've been to a lot of shops in LA and Orange County but I don't want to take my cars to anywhere but here.

In the late afternoon on a Sunday, my motorcycle got a flat tire at the foot of the Grapevine headed home from a road trip. Scott was the ONLY tow truck driver in the area that did not decline AAAs request for a tow, and he is my hero! He was friendly and efficient through the entire process of loading. I felt confident my bike was in good hands, and am SO thankful for his help getting my bike home safe.

Went to get my car checked out after it was making some odd noises, ended up getting a quote for parts and labor of ~14k to fix it, which was still going to use very used parts with zero warranty. Took it to get a second opinion and was able to get the exact same work done WITH OEM, never used parts AND a warranty for 7.5k. Also, when I got my car back from them they had managed to mar significant portions of the leather and cloth in my interior with what looks like flat tip screwdrivers and pliers, and broke my shifter assembly, all while trying to claim that the car arrived like that. I had driven the car the day previous, I can confidently say the internals of my shifter were not sheared in half from someone torqueing the shift knob as hard as they could and ruining the leather on it when I was driving it. Going off of the metal tooth marks on the outside and the damage inside, It's extremely clear that someone couldn't figure out how to operate the shifter so they used a tool of some kind to try to tighten it to the point of where they sheared the plastic internals. After taking it to two other mechanics and letting them independently investigate it, they both came to the same conclusion without me ever saying the idea out loud. Take it how you will. To top it off, when I went to go pickup it up, I went to my car in their lot (without my key, they had it) and went to open the door to get some things out of my car (forgetting that I didn't have my key) and it turned out that my car had just been unlocked in their parking lot for who knows how long WITH the key still in the ignition, causing the battery to die... What was strange though is that the two individuals who I talked with at the shop were extremely nice, seemed well informed, and gave me updates about the vehicle as it was evaluated. They seemed like they were doing a genuinely decent job, short of the quotes that I was given (which may have come from a finance department, I'm unsure. They either came up with the quotes or just relayed them to me.) I don't know if the individuals who were working on my car were new employees, incompetent, or both, but after seeing how they treated my car and the absolutely insane quotes that they gave me, I'd sooner rather take it to the homeless guy that hangs out at the O'Reilly's around the corner for work on it than come here again.

My car's passenger side floor well was wet. I had been told it was most likely the heater core, around $2K. Unfortunately, the mechanic I typically take my car to had received a negative review in the prior weeks. I'm sure many of you have experienced that dreaded feeling. After looking at google reviews for an hour, decided to stop by Precision Automotive. I met Rob and after describing the issue, mentioned the heater core but then said it could be the drains. He invited me to have a cup of coffee, a seat there in the waiting room, and to keep an eye for dripping water after they lifted the car. Sure enough, water dripped. The technician removed the rubber caps that were causing condensate to accumulate and spill into the cabin. Rob, thank you for being honest. Even though you can't control what is going on with cars, the issue was simple to fix, and you didn't add any unnecessary repair costs. I appreciate the heads up on the valve cover and rear coupling. I'll be back for the regular maintenance on these and other items. To the readers, hope my review will help you see this business is top-notch. Thanks

The guys at Precision Automotive are top notch! Our Ford Econoline had a catastrophic wheel failure about an hour north of Bakersfield in the middle of the night. Had it towed into town and dropped off at Precision Automotive based off their reviews and AAA partnership. When they opened up they got the van in first thing and got to work. We quickly realized that the front spindle was going to need replaced, after a tough time sourcing one we worked together and I grabbed a used one from a junkyard. Once I dropped the part off gave them a couple of hours and the van was ready and back on the road! While these guys specialize in import vehicles they were top notch in fitting my van in, getting it fixed quickly and well, and all at a very reasonable price! While I don’t live in Bakersfield I will definitely add their info to my contacts incase I need work done again! Thanks again guys!

Perfect service. Volkswagen Jetta was loud before timing belt and water pump replacement due to possible misalignment over time/belt stretching. They gave me the service for half the price of OEM and it runs like new again. They even gave me suggestions to save money on a transmission repair in the future. I might see myself back again for complex repairs.

Went in for a power steering leak on my Lexus ES 350. Rob and his team went over my vehicle and escorted me into their garage where they had lifted up my car to show me why I saw a puddle of fluid on my garage floor. They repaired my vehicle in a timely manner, highly recommend this team of highly skilled and experienced mechanics. Family atmosphere and very nice, honest people.
