Worked with Billy, the new store manager, and he was awesome. Another shop said I had a $1100 problem, Billy explained how only 1 part needed to be replaced, not the entire thing, got the job done for $309! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate that!

I went to Precision Tune in Irmo, SC a couple of months ago because my check engine light was on. Come to find out, I needed a new catalytic converter. They replaced it twice with after market parts but my check engine light continued to come on. They finally replaced it a third time with a genuine GM part and all was good. Not long after I started hearing a metal on metal rattle sound coming from the area of the catalytic converter. I returned to the shop twice to have them fix the rattle. Only for it to continue to reappear shortly after each visit. Today I took it to a new shop and they discovered one bolt was cross threaded and loose and the other had snapped off. The entire bracing system was also being held on by a TWIST TIE!!! Yes, a bread tie!! To make matters worse I was lied to me on my last visit there, the manager told me he added a washer and it was good as new. It is completely unacceptable and bad business to lie and think you’ll get away with a bad “repair” because I’m a woman! I will NOT return to this shop…. Unless I decide to return their twist tie to them!

The service was quick. I did not like that they don’t tell you how everything looked like other places do. They don’t tell you anything. They took the keys change the oil and they charged me without saying anything. (This is the tech, not the guy at the front desk). Not to happy.

My car was acting like it was going to cut off I took on bushriver rd precision tune to get checked out they put it the computer for which I didn’t ask for they gave me a oil change, which is one of the things I asked for, but the primary reason was never addressed. They never even spoke about it. All they did was charge me for the oil change and I asked him about my car and what was going on with it he said I don’t know. We didn’t look at it. We can’t figure it out.

Came in weeks ago about my brakes. Come to find out the rotors and brake pads needed changing, so that’s what they did. Came back again because I started hearing noise from the rear after they worked on it. On yesterday i was on the way to work and my whole tire came off while the car was in motion! We could have died!! It’s damage to my car now. My lug nuts were loose and so were the lug nuts on the passenger side tire also! I called and was told the guy that helped fixed my car (BRAD) is fired. Was told I’ll get a call back and never did. My lawyer is aware of this situation. (Update) Precision Auto Tune says it’s nothing they can do because I waited to long before the tire came off. How would I know the lugs were loose if y’all supposedly FIXED THE PROBLEM? They’re saying it’s my fault my tire came off! UPDATE; this specific company DID NOT accommodate me at all! The mechanics before them (Brad and everyone else) was fired. The “new” managers told it was my fault my tire came off. Terrible. No accountability!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Thank you so much to Tina and the all crew. You saved our day. Half way back home from FL we had issues with our vehicle, our little gadget « FIXD » told us what the problem was and referred us to Precision tune car care in Columbia/Elmo where we stopped for the night. They were kind enough to fit us in, early in the morning and took care of our problem. True Southern hospitality within that business. The few hours wait went by pretty fast just chitchatting with Tina. Thanks again
