Let me start off by saying that I have lots of experience in regard to autobody shops.With that being said, I am a fairly ruthlessly honest in my reviews with ZERO BIAS. I will start off by saying that I called Anthony, the owner/operator of this family business, in a pinch. I happen to damage a rim on an extremely expensive vehicle on vacation (I live in Florida) I was borrowing and needed it to be fixed with very short notice ( 24 hrs). I called a couple of other shops, but they quoted me three times the amount on average for repair and minimum 3 days to do it. Luckily, I stumbled across preferred auto body, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Anthony was kind, knowledgeable, and Extremely professional. A true master of his craft, but most importantly he was honest and trustworthy. If you’re looking for an autobody shop in Staten Island, Give your business to this guy. Not only will you get a phenomenal Finished product, you will get treated with respect and with fairness. Not only did he charge less than his competitors. He also completed the job faster than his competitors. That’s something I have never experienced before. From South Florida I say Thanks again, Anthony!

I took a chance on Preferred a couple of months ago and was very pleased with the work that was done. Anthony and his guys were very professional and friendly. Anthony was very helpful in the whole process and made the experience of getting my vehicle fixed, easier than i thought it would be. He explained everything that was going on and helped a lot in dealing with the insurance company. He kept me up to date with the insurance company and how the job was going. The whole process went smooth and the shop got the repair job done within a timely manner. The crew did a great job on the repair and it looked perfect. I would recommend this shop to snot and everyone! Anthony is amazing and makes you feel like family. I came here to fix the whole front end of my car including fender, headlights, and bumper after a collision and my car came back looking amazing. He even got me an uber to enterprise to get a rental through my insurance. I passed by a second time after going to a Geico ship to fix my car after I got hit and he pointed out places where Geico made mistakes I went back to the Geico shop and they fixed everything the way I asked. I seemed I know what I was talking about because the advice I was given. I will continue to come to this shop my car is in there again and I just know it will come back amazing and beautiful.

Best place to go to, Anthony will definitely take care of your vehicle. Restoring it brand new, my bmw went from a heap of rust to brand new looking vehicle/ he took care of my fender and bumper. i love the restoration and replacement of the bumper. the restoration of the little scratches of the rocks hitting my car on the highway is barely noticeable. the feeling of the car of the brand new clear coat is amazing it looks like i bought my car recently. he will help you out completely 100%. A friend recommended me to him and angel's auto glass also recommended me to him. Angel told me he will take care of me. Anthony did. thank you Anthony, i will definitely come back to you for anymore issues. Even though he takes a while but its worth the wait.

Anthony and his crew are the best at what they do. I dropped of my top case to get painted to match my bike and they perfected it from taking it apart, painting it, and putting it back together. It looks like it came from factory. I also had them do certain things on my 19 vette and they mastered that as well. Any body work or paint, Anthony is my guy to go to. Get your car body work done here!!! PERIOD!! They hooked my Dodge Charger up! *Update!* This 2026 Blizzard never had a chance with the paint on this car. Preferred Auto Body put the absolute right stuff on it. I also want to mention they did put the custom racing stripes back on the Dodge Charger. Best place ever!

He clearly explained the entire repair process and immediately put me at ease, assuring me that he could take care of everything. He even arranged a rental car for me and I was picked up directly from the shop. Throughout the repair, Anthony kept me updated on the progress, which really helped ease my anxiety. When I picked up my car, I was amazed—it looked flawless. I genuinely forgot which side had been damaged. The dents were gone, the doors were perfectly painted, the tires were shiny, and the whole car was freshly washed. It felt like I was driving away in a brand new vehicle. Came to Anthony as per a recommendation of John the car wash owner on amboy road and clarke. I stopped to see what he thought of the damage done to my car by someone in a parking lot at SIU hospital and he didn’t hesitate at all. Told me right away go see Anthony at preferred auto! BOY am I glad I did!! Within a few minutes he had a plan in mind and started the process of removing the scratch without needing a new paint job. The following day I went back for the dent removal process which really left me in awe!! Anthony then buffed the area again before I left. WOW what a nice guy and good businessman. Other places were quoting me over 1500 across 4 days to fix the dent and then repaint 3- 4 times bc of the white color of my car. I was miserable until I walked into Preferred Auto. It was my first time there and I couldn’t recommend this place and Anthony more!! He even touched up my rim that had some paint missing from accidentally hitting a curb. No judgement either!! The best, honest, courteous and all around great experience. the first two pics are before. ... the third is after Anthony buffed the scratch out and then the last pictures are no dent no scratch My car was only a month old so while these pictures may not seem so bad to you I was so angry since I had just purchased it a month ago. Thank you Anthony!!!
