Ive been coming to this shop since 2016 when i bought a house in the area. They have been nothing but fair and honest with me from day 1 and I've personally brought them atleast 6 different vehicles btwn me my wife and kids. They take care of the repairs with a fair price and always give me options as a customer and good recommendations going forward. Most recently when my 2018 Ford Fusion engine hydrolocked they gave me a great price on repair and then even went forward with doing more due diligence on my behalf by calling up to Ford and giving them my Vin No. and found out that the manufacturer had an extended warranty on my engine for that very issue. They notified me that Ford would warranty my engine and cover the work themselves. They saved me atleast $6K Most ships wont tell you that because they want that money themselves. Im a life long customer and I'll continue to recommend them to everyone. If more shops were straight up and honest like Pride Auto then mechanic shops wouldnt have bad reputations.

Could not recommend a better place to take your car to! This company was very professional and accommodating from the moment I walked in the door. Pride Auto was quick to take a look at my car and very knowledgeable on what was necessary to get me back on the road. I took my car somewhere else first and was given the run around and a huge price gouge before I stopped into Pride Auto for a second opinion. Extremely happy with the work and customer service that was provided. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Pride Auto for all of my future needs. THANK YOU!

I have been taking my truck here for years. Honest and trustworthy! Went in for a repair and they recommended to keep an eye on some other things that might need attention down the road. The fact that they didn’t just say more needed to be repaired that day goes a long way. Highly recommend pride auto repair!!

continued for Tonya McCallum due to length first post was cut short. Fast forward, timing chain job done, catalytic converter job done and I picked up my vehicle from Shop B. Approximately 3 weeks later, on a Sunday, the car stalled out again. The diagnostic codes were performance codes for the timing chain. I originally had the vehicle towed back to Shop B since they worked on it last. When they ran a diagnostic test and saw that there were performance codes for the timing and Shop A had done the timing work, they immediately excluded themselves and towed the car back to Shop A. Although I had two oil changes within a week, by the end of that third week, the car did not have any oil at all. Shop B said the oil they put in burned quickly due to the bad timing chain job. Shop A said that was inaccurate and that there could not have been any oil put in subsequent to their oil change. What was the end result? It was a blown engine! Before the warranty company would pay for the timing job, they wanted to make sure there was no sludge buildup or obvious signs of customer neglect. Pride ran the appropriate testing requested by the warranty company and per Dave at Pride, the engine was very clean and an indication there was no customer neglect. How did we go from a clean sludge-free engine to a blown engine? After countless more weeks of Shop A blaming Shop B and vice versa, I got involved and the warranty company agreed to cover an engine replacement. This would be the 3rd major repair in a few months. Car went to Shop A and they did the engine replacement. The warranty company provided a used engine with decent mileage. Although the used engine was furnished by the warranty company, Pride still charged in excess of $5k to install it. One would think it would be light at the end of the tunnel right? Wrong. I was awaiting that much anticipated call again to say my vehicle was ready, but instead this time it was "we got the engine put in and got in running but it is blowing out hot air and more than likely needs an A/C recharge but we would have to run a test to see if it is that for sure." The air was working fine before the engine replacement. I asked a few people and then googled whether or not an engine replacement would interfere with the cooling system and the answer was "yes it could." If the hoses were not properly disconnected/removed from the old engine and handled properly then it could potentially cause this issue of no A/C. I shared the information with Dave and he immediately disagreed. I decided after 3 major repairs, I would wait on the A/C repair, after all we were still in the winter months. Picked the vehicle up for a second time from Shop A and a few things to note, the same day, after pickup, the engine light came on. After being in the shop from February to April for an engine replacement, the last thing you'd expect would be for an engine light to come on. Pride asked me to bring it back so they could check it out. They came back and said one or two of the o2 sensors were bad and they were a few hundred each for the parts and that did not include labor. Again feeling very perplexed I googled the affect an engine replacement would have on failed or faulty o2 sensors and again there was correlation. And again Pride refused to even acknowledge that. Another example, I took my key fob and dropped it off and upon pickup it could not be found. At first I was told that I didn't bring it to them. After proving I did, they finally agreed to replace it. That was in May and it is now October and to no avail. There was also a small piece on the door handle broken off and that too came with a promise to order the replacement part and paint it in order to fix it. I feel as though I have been very patient but at the same time have grown frustrated with the treatment I received and felt it would have been totally different had I not been a female or more knowledgeable about car repairs. In conclusion, this has been one heck of a ride that I am still on.

I’m so grateful to have them right down the street from me. They are always professional and work pretty fast. I really feel like I can bring my vehicle here and trust that they won’t try to screw me over. So far I’ve only gotten an oil change and brake and rotor fixes but like I said they’re quick, professional and I never have issues after they’ve fixed something.

I have gone to Pride Auto for at least 15 years and have been satisfied with the work performed by their experienced mechanics. It's the only place I trust for them working on my 2003 Buick LeSabre and always at a reasonable price. Will not go anywhere else since these people are honest and give a fair estimate before any repairs are done. Just had my oil changed there also. Had numerous older cars repaired no problems.

Had my vehicle towed in at the beginning of December 2024. Shop was so busy that they were unable to start the dialogue with my warranty company for weeks out. There was gross miscommunication between the shop and the warranty company and I will not say that it was 100% the shops fault as often times I would try to get involved and the shop would say they were waiting on the warranty company and the warranty company would state they were awaiting info from the shop. Because the warranty company deals directly with the shop it left me in limbo and often times in the dark. Timing chain issue was the diagnosis. I had a $100 deductible but there were always expenses over and above the deductible. On a $3800 job I still ended up paying over $600 out of pocket. The call that everyone anticipates once their vehicle has been in a repair facility is "I have good news, your car is all ready." Well that was never my experience. Just when I got to the end, after my car had been there for 2 months, I get a call which said, "we got the car running and discovered that the cap on your catalytic converter is broken and it will need to be fixed in order for the vehicle to perform properly and that will be an additional $800 as the warranty company does not cover "cats." I didn't have an additional $800 laying around and decided to tow the vehicle to a different repair shop where financing was an option...huge mistake! This is where the "blame game" begin and I was caught in the middle. Shop B indicated that not one catalytic converter was bad but rather all 3 and there was no way to repair/replace just one and they were not sure why I was told that. So whereas I was only anticipating the one approximately $800 repair, it ended up being that x's 3. That on top of a $3800 job. Once Shop A (Pride) finished with the timing job and started the vehicle, it ruined the oil change that I had just paid for as gas went into the oil so that was $160 wasted. After replacing the catalytic converters (all three), I was told the oil change was necessary for the performance of the vehicle therefore I had to get a service that I literally had just paid Shop A for.

I’m currently going through the stressful process of trying to buy a used vehicle—during a time when scams feel more common than good deals—and as a first-time (almost) customer, I was genuinely impressed with the Auto Pride team. I had found a vehicle I was interested in, but I was hesitant because of a whining sound it was making. I decided to take it to Auto Pride for a full inspection. Even though they were busy, Dave was kind enough to squeeze me in for a 12 o’clock appointment. While I waited for the owner to arrive with the vehicle, Dave and another team member were incredibly informative and answered all my questions without hesitation. When the owner arrived, I reiterated that the inspection would take about an hour. The owner immediately pushed back, insisting it should take only 5–10 minutes. I stood there stunned, but the Auto Pride team handled the situation perfectly—calmly explaining that a thorough inspection simply can’t be done in that amount of time. The owner quickly left, which was embarrassing and honestly made me even more skeptical about the car. Dave and his team were understanding, professional, and offered solid advice throughout the whole situation. I’m always cautious when trying a new business, but the way these guys handled everything put me completely at ease. I would absolutely return to Auto Pride for future services.

I had an outstanding experience at Pride Auto and can’t recommend them highly enough! As a family-owned business, they truly live up to their name — the pride they take in their work shows in every detail. I was referred by close friends who have trusted them for years, and now I completely understand why. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and transparent. Their quotes were fair and clearly explained, the timelines were accurate, and their communication was prompt and responsive throughout. What really stood out was their genuine customer care and strong work ethic. It’s rare to find a shop that combines skill, integrity, and such a positive, can-do attitude. I’ll absolutely be bringing my car here for years to come. Thank you, Pride Auto, for such a fantastic experience! We will definitely be back!
