Place is not much to look at, but office is clean and cozy. The guy single handedly ran the entire office (due to call outs vacations) on a busy Saturday morning with a smile and no complaints. Got me in and out without a problem, highly recommend!!

The owner of this shop is a liar and crooked. Don't do business with them. I brought my wife's car to this shop to change timing belt. They charged quite reasonable price and I thought I would do a good job. However the engine broke down 1 week after I took back from them. I asked them why and got the answer: it was like that before I brought the car there and they had nothing to do with it. I asked them why they did not tell me when the engine was open, they fumbled. I offered I buy a new engine and they spent the labor to put it back, they refused. So I sued them to small claim court. Looks like even they can speak good English, they were advised by good (crooked) lawyer, so they kept delaying the trial date and kept appealing each time they lost (2,3 times totally). Finally, on the last trail where it would be costly and difficult to appeal if they lost, they sent me a court form saying that the trial date was postponed to a later date. Fortunately I called the court and was told that the date was still as planned. Later on I found out that if I didn't show up at the trial, the case would be thrown away. That show they are liar and crooked. After I won the judgement, they refused to lay the conviction. Unfortunately for them, they did business as sole proprietor and court judgement applies to their personal property as well. If you look up K&G auto on NC secretary of state website, they just form a LLC end of 2014, probably from lawyer advice after my litigation action. The owner is living on a 700,000 house, without any mortgage and unfortunately for them, the lien is applied to that house due to court judgement. Up until this moment, they still refused to do the right thing: pay the court judgement.

I have been using KnG for last 5 years and they are very honest. I recently changed my Honda Odyssey timing belt, they did excellent job and costed me only 50% of what dealer quoted me. They used honda genuine belt and labor charges was very reasonable. I was very nerves about using them for major job like changing timing belt, but they did excellent job and it has been more than 6 months and has no issues. I go there often for regular maintenance and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them to service any old cars you have that are out of manufacture warranty.

These people will ripe you off. They claim they take care of their customers but they are a bunch of liars who know as much as YouTube; in other words, anyone off the street can do it. The father (older Kim) is the worst-a hot head-if they want to continue business then he needs to retire else he’ll run away the customers. When you question what and why they’re doing that to your car, they get very offended and that makes them very sketchy. They steal your tire valve caps. They replace oil with different oil then blame you about it, when it specifically says which type of oil to use and that information is written on their own made sticker. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years and the longer you stay the more they take advantage of you. They burnt the bridge when a car was taken to them for a knocking noise. They spent 2 weeks on the car and instead of fixing that they added more problems to the car-the cars dead now. I lost 2k+ just to get the car back to how I brought it to them. In other words, nothing was done to fix the problem. After they’ve realized what they did, they offered to give discount to fix the car again but I couldn’t trust them anymore. They are very sketchy and will play the card of putting customers first to cover their actions.

I've been to KnG twice now and both times they are super fast and so affordable. I also had them give me an estimate to make a repair on my car that the dealership estimated about $900 to do but KnG estimated me less than third of that! I would highly recommend them to anybody. Very friendly service as well.

Update 2021 we still take all our cars here for body work and car repairs. They charge a fair price, do good work, and are fast! We take both of our Honda Pilots to Pristine Auto for body work and overall maintenance. No job is too small and they are very customer focused and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Pristine Auto for all your car needs.

I trust these guys with my vehicle to not rip me off or try to up-sell. They perform the fastest oil changes I've ever experienced at the most reasonable cost, and always are honest if I can wait till the next change to do additional service, like brakes etc. I always bring something to work on while I wait, and usually they finish the work before I get done with anything significant. Good problem to have!

Recently bought a used car and check engine light came on after 1 tank of gas. Had the codes read at advanced auto and did a little YouTube research into common problems. Called pristine auto and asked about bringing it in. They diagnosed the problem without reading codes, got my car in right away, performed the repair for a reasonable price and had it ready just 2 hours after my initial phone call. Just found my new service station! Couldn’t be happier.

Update (3/2/25): This is still my go to place. Sadly, Paul is no longer there. However, the customer service hasn't changed. It's still stellar. ***** This is my go to place for repairs, tune-ups, and oil changes. These guys do amazing work. I recommend Young and there's another older gentleman whose so funny, he's always speaking Korean and English to me in the same sentence. I don't speak Korean but I find humor in it. Paul is a sweetheart as well. He normally answers the phone. He's very helpful, especially if you end up taking your car there for repairs due to an accident. He took great care of me and the car. These are just good people all around. I highly recommend them.

The owner was super knowledgeable about the car. I called to ask for an estimate and when I explained the symptoms of my car, he immediately knew what the issues might be and how much it would cost. When I brought my car in, he did what he suggested on the phone and it was all fixed! He was fast and also very very reasonable with pricing. I would definitely recommend!
