Brought my car here to be worked on & EZ was a very honest, helpful, & kind mechanic. I thought my battery was dead & he helped me fix the problem which wasn’t as bad as I thought. Often times people will try and tell you the problem is worse than it is, & this was not the case here!! He was extremely honest & was working on my car within the hour. I will be back!

During the storms, I had the trunk of my Prius flooded because of a leak I couldn’t locate. The photo attached is how bad the flooding was before coming in. My car wouldn’t start and was located in Boulder Creek, far from any battery repair company’s. Found this company through google, got on the phone with Aouiss “EZ,” and he was able to come up to me real quick. Full on life saver, he was able to help drain the water out, get the car running, and was super honest on what was needed to be fixed. He showed me tips on maintaining the car and helped me locate where the leak was coming from. Thanks for the help, EZ!

My prius has never run this good and I've never worked with kinder people. Plus the fix was very affordable and EZ diagnosed my problem very quickly. My car broke down going home on the 17 to Santa Cruz. I tried to fix it myself and learned everything I could on Youtube and priuschat. I charged my hybrid battery primed the fuel pump but in the end I didn't have the time to get it done right. I called a bunch of shops to fix this. Most were overly confident about being able to fix my issue without really listening to me or trying to troubleshoot my problem on the phone. EZ on the otherhand listend and i could immediately tell that he was an expert on the prius. He walked me through everything id read others mention online and said he could diagnose the issue for $150. I had the car towed to him and he had the issue fixed within 2 hrs. It ended up being my hybrid battery and I probably ran out of fuel too. We decided to upgrade our battery to some nexcell lithium and EZ had it done within a day. Now the car flies up the 17. The battery doesn't even get to 3 bars. It's a whole different world no more struggling up the hill because the battery is drained. Wow. Just wow. Our fix is a bit pricier since a new nexcell battery is around 2.4k. But he could have reconditioned our battery for $500 and that would have included the diagnostic fee. Highly recommend this shop. They know what they are doing and by specializing on hybrid vehicles (especially prius) they can quickly diagnose/fix the issue. I don't think you can go wrong my coming here first.

My prius' coolant flow valve needed to be replaced (P1121 & P1150) and after shopping around, EZ & team provided the best quote and fastest turn around time. They postponed my initial appointment by 24h because I wanted to drop the car for only 3h, but they were always upfront and transparent about it. I'd strongly recommend them!

The triangle of death came on in my 2008 Toyota Prius so I called these guys. Turns out they’re a mobile service all over Santa Cruz, Boulder Creek and even willing to go down to Monterey. They also have a shop in Santa Clara. 3170 el Camino! Decided to tow my car in because I wasn’t sure what was wrong. They do more than just hybrid batteries which was great to know! Turned out to be my Hybrid battery and they gave me every option from repairing to even brand new Toyota. Had my baby up and running in no time and has been working great ever since! Cars are tricky, and if you don't know what is going on, it's easy to feel scammed. Finding someone who knows what to look for and how to troubleshoot is so important, and I'm glad I found Aouiss. We recently (about 2 months ago) bought a 2015 Lexus Hybrid. At the time I stopped in to this shop to ask a few questions. EZ spent a fair amount of time helping me understand things about our “new to us”car and Hybrid technology. About a week ago we had a tire pressure error pop up. All our tires checked at correct pressure. I stopped into the Prius Hybrid Battery Replacement shop. EZ stopped what he was doing to discuss the problem and resolved our problem by reseting the error. Understand I interrupted his focus on the job he was working on and jumped at the opportunity to help us. Great guy, he is willing to explain and help us when needed. We remember and appreciate great customer service. We will be back in the future when the need arises.

Highly recommend this place to anyone with a hybrid battery! EZ is so quick to respond, personable, and clearly very knowledgeable about hybrid batteries. He was straight with me about my options and transparent about every step of the process. I ended up getting a battery replacement, and once I decided that, he ordered the battery and replaced it the next day!! Incredible service and incredible turn-around, which is so rare to come by. EZ is the most trustworthy person that's ever worked on my car and also, he's just an overall good guy. 11/10 recommendation.

I’m so glad I found this place. I drove from Carmel to get a rodent out of my battery compartment and I’ll drive the distance to have EZ work on any other repairs for my Prius. He’s knowledgeable, personable, honest and reasonable - less than half the price of high overhead shops and just as qualified. He seemed to actually enjoy what he does for a living. Refreshing.

EZ is the kindest car mechanic I've ever worked with. He actually cares about the people who come to the shop and genuinely wants to help. He was honest with me that my Prius didn't actually need repair. In my experience at other shops, all they want is my money. That is the complete opposite of what I experienced with EZ. He showed me how to fix things myself, made me feel taken care of and left a lasting impression. Anytime my car needs something fixed from now on I'll be coming here.

My Prius had a warning message about the hybrid system and I needed detailed diagnostic codes to get a replacement under warranty. EZ did the diagnostic for me free of charge, even though I told him up front that I would get the battery replaced by the warranty for free. That's service. I plan to take my Prius to EZ for maintenance work from now on.

My Hybrid Toyota Camry showed an engine warning icon and the “Hybrid System” message. The car started limping and wasn’t using the hybrid battery anymore. I was sure it happened because my hybrid battery has failed as it is about 10 years old. I called this place, arranged AAA towing, and upon inspection the mechanic diagnosed that it was the MAF sensor for throttled body - it needed cleaning. Because of this sensor, the hybrid battery and engine warning icons went on. My hybrid battery was perfectly fine and is still in a good condition. The mechanic, EZ, was always answering the phone and took his time to explain what happened and what needs to be done. He also shared the codes for the hybrid battery test. The mechanic also took my car for a ride to ensure it runs smoothly. He also kindly changed oil and oil filter for me. This place has competitive low prices for a new Hybrid Battery or a hybrid battery repair. I didn’t need it this time, but I will definitely call EZ when I will need it. It was a big relief to find out that my battery is all good. Thank you, EZ, for the fast and honest service.
