Top-notch customer service and craftsmanship! They rebuilt me a custom cat-back exhaust TAILORED to my specifications on my Honda for less then $400! They even let me stand and watch to make sure they were doing everything just how I wanted it. Very friendly staff, great prices, and some of the best exhaust work I've seen. If you need custom exhaust work done, don't go anywhere else but here!

Excellent service. My muffler sounded off so I stopped by the shop and got it checked out. Part of the exhaust pipe was rusted out so they welded in a new piece. Cost about $95. Was in and out under 20 minutes. Kevin and Dave are awesome. Keep up the great work.

I stopped in at 4:30pm, a half hour before they closed, to have an exhaust leak on my truck looked at. I felt bad coming in so close to closing time and just expected to possibly set up an appointment on another day. Instead, they had me fixed up and on my way so fast I was home relaxing on my couch before 5pm. Over the past 15 years I've needed exhaust work done 3 times on 3 different vehicles. I've now been to all 3 of their locations and without a doubt each time has been absolutely the best automotive related experience I've had. Great people doing great work for great prices.

As a woman, it is always nice to find a repair shop that I can trust to complete my car repairs without feeling as though I am being duped or taken advantage of. Ladies, this is the place to go. Not only did they get me in and out, same-day, no appointment, but the repair that they did cost me $150, as opposed to the $2k I was being quoted at other shops. I am very happy with the work that they did and the care that they showed.

My 23 year old daughter and i had a wonderful experience. The service manager promptly took her 07 Honda in for a free inspection. After looking at it, 5 minutes later he gave us 2 options. First was to replace the entire rusted section or just cut it out and replace a very small section. While I am no mechanic, his honesty showed by saying it could be $1200 or $100. He said he knows what he would do so we repaired it for $100. Made my day and we were out within 20 minutes. Very trustworthy place here and felt like they would do the same for my daughter if she was by herself. This is what businesses should be like all the time. Thank you

Do not go here if you care about your vehicle at all. Had an exhaust installed on my car (way overpriced) when it got done later that day I realized they took a lot of paint off of the edge of the door and 2 dents. They must have caught it with the arms of the lift. I go back and they say there’s no way they could have done that. DO NOT GO HERE

The best place to get your card worked on. I was in town from Minneapolis with my daughter for her freshman orientation at University of Iowa. On the way down, my muffler blew out. There was no way I could drive the 5 hours back with that kind of noise. They got my car in and out in 30-minutes at am incredibly reasonable price. This will be the only place in Iowa City my daughter will take her car to while living in Iowa City. I can't say thank you enough to the staff at Professional Muffler.

Professional Muffler and their mechanics are some of the best I have met. All of my experiences with them have been great. I just brought my car in on a whim to ask if they were able to take off a part of my exhaust and replace a part and they pulled the car in and did the job in 30 minutes... The price is very fair and the mechanics are all very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great service at this place. I called before coming in to ask if they could fix my car muffler which had become loose and was dragging on the floor. They answered the phone quickly and informed me I could drop-in right away to have my car checked. I did just that and they inspected the car as soon as I got there, and informed me what the problem was, and how much it would cost to fix it. The price was very reasonable and they fixed my car within 5 minutes. I’m guessing if my car issue needed more time they would have informed me of details. Also, the employees are super friendly and all asked if I had been attended to while waiting.

This shop is great. I came in with a very rusty muffler that had to be held in with wire to not drag the ground and it took an hour to fix and was not expensive. I have a photo of the fixed part below and you can see where they patched it and the condition of my old car.
