They didn't accept the Synchrony credit card, despite being listed on Synchrony's website as an Automotive store that does accept it. However, the customer service was good.

No other store on Earth do I feel more unwelcome than Napa, I avoid it like the plague due to every time I go here for any vehicle needs I'm treated like I'm the biggest inconvenience in their life and that they would rather bash their head into a wall than help my needs.

Today I decided it was time to take care of my Legand Van Battery, which had failed a couple months ago, but during high covid season as an autoimmune compromised individual, I put off doing anything about it. When I went in today a clerk name Travis gave me the typical line... where's your receipt? I didn't have it of course. I asked about using my bank statement, but it was just outside of what WF offers on your phone.. - .Why WF, WHY can't I see an equal amount of statements on my phone as a desktop?!? - Anyhoo, I asked if I could speak to a manager and Tim came into the picture. I explained my situation and he thought for a moment and said, this is so close to being in warrantee (date stamped from manufacturer was 3/18 and they have an 18 month auto coverage) AND the voltage was 1/3 of where it should have been, so he said he'd just exchange it without a receipt, which I was thrilled about. Everyone was very friendly and I have a new battery with an 18 month warrantee. This saved me around $180, money I can surely use in this crazy new world we live in. Since I own a local balloon company, I decided to pay it forward and will be doing some balloons for their upcoming event at no charge... I'm a big believer in Karma and wanted to reward NAPA and it's kind employees. At the end of the day, I'll give them something priced more than the battery, their event will look better, I'll have a battery with a new warrantee and everyone left the experience feeling great.... Thank you NAPA! And, since you just moved here, welcome to Iowa City Tim! Chad Johnson ICBalloons.com

I just recently stopped in to pick up an automotive aerosol paint to match my car. I gave the attendant at the counter my paint number of my car so they could mix me up a can. He told me they can’t do it because the paint formula is not in his system. I know this to be false because I called into this exact store a couple weeks ago with my paint number. I asked if someone else could help me, but was told they can’t make the paint for my car. Not sure if the attendant at the counter was having a bad day, but in my opinion this is not how you treat a customer. If he couldn’t do it himself, he could’ve at least tried to find another employee to help me.

Jacob and his crew are very quick and helpful. This is definitely the best Napa that I have been to because of their customer service and because they usually have hard to find parts in stock or can get them quickly.

Rolled in today to get some light bulbs and an engine filter. Just wanted to shout out to Steve, who displayed exceptional wisdom and patience with me as we navigated exactly what I needed. Steve didn't hesitate to come out to my car to help ensure we got the right bulbs and made sure I was getting the best parts available. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Steve represents the epitome of customer service. 10/10.

I stopped in here after getting yelled at at the AutoZone up the road for not knowing a part number and was surprised at the high level of service. The very nice parts gal helped me find exactly what I needed and a couple of things that I didn't know I needed! It is refreshing to have counter people who know something about cars and will actually help you find a part that you need. I will definitely be coming back here as I had forgotten what a decent parts store is like.

Over the past few months, I've been doing some engine maintenance on my Ford. The first time I came into the store to get a MAF sensor, Steve was right there able to help me order the right part, and I picked it up the very next day! Yet more problems for my poor truck occurred, and I decided to go back. Again, it was an awesome experience, and Steve even remember my name and helped me get the right spark plugs and spark plug cables for the best price. Sadly, due to an oversight on me, three of the cables were too short, I went back today after a long night of fixing my vehicle hoping to find a set of longer cables. What I thought would be a nightmare and would have to wait, was a pleasant, and honestly great experience. They got me the right length, and little was needed to be handled, which made the the whole thing smooth. I even got a fuel filter as well, which again was incredibly easy to get. Thank you guys for such wonderful service. I have gone to other auto part stores in town, but this experience is by far the best and highest quality. Also, thanks Steve for your help!

Came in to look for a spark plug and a fuel filter some guy working today named John was just in a hurry and seemed very unprofessional. Definitely not a counter sales person. Very rude. Probably won’t buy anything again at this store.

I stopped in to grab the passenger side and rear wipers for my Subaru Forester, the driver side wiper was replaced this week at another shop that didn't carry the other two parts. I should have just stopped at NAPA becuase they have them. They also have great, and friendly staff like Ronnie and Roy, who are both fantastic. Roy found the parts and I purchased them. When I went to install the passenger side, the size that Subaru lists as my blade is too long and does not match what the dealership installed at my previous scheduled maintenance. I went back in to get the part and Ronnie was able to find a size and we got it installed. She was also able to guide me to install the rear wiper myself, great teacher. The next time I need a part or tip I will return for the helpful service and guidance like Ronnie and Roy offered me. On an seemingly unrelated note, good gift idea for kids, or kids at heart, please think about a Glow-in-the-dark Marble Run set from National Geographic. (It was in the store an employee had and it looked super fun and brought back hours of childhood memories.) Thank you to Ronnie and Roy for the helpful service and good conversation while we got everything figured out.

Came in for a new car battery and was charged $181. Soon found out after having sent a photo to my dad, they sold me a used battery at full price (no plastic caps on the terminals, the terminals were scraped, numbers already scratched off) . Took it back to the store and was told that “it was the last one” as an explanation. No apology for trying to scam me. Another employee came and tested it, confirmed it was used and offered a refund. Great to know these guys take advantage of young women, shame on them. Thank God for my dad. Never coming here again.

They simply refuse to replace a battery that is clearly within the full replacement warranty period. Buy from a store like walmart or costco that will honor the warranty without hassle. The Battery has a date sticker on it that is clearly within the date and should be replaced.
