Scammed my elder relative into an absolute lemon. They bent the truth as well as outright lied about details of the car they sold. They didn't even sign the title right-- they wrote "for the company" instead of dealership or a name. Car was advertised as a re-sale, but ended up being a REBUILT title. They said it had new tires when they were just sealed with a new finish. Car was sold "as is", which is fine, but it broke down on the highway 48 hours after purchase even though we had a mechanic look at it before buying (that's a different story). We are now on our 3rd mechanic who is still finding things wrong with it -- headlight alignment, interior lighting, sensors not working, at least 20 separate issues with vehicle. My relative is a very kind person who wanted to give this company a chance and support a small minority-owned business. However, there is a difference between not speaking English and having a "communication issue" and lying through your teeth to make a sale. Shame on this company. Count your lucky stars that everyone is safe and you avoided a lawsuit.
