I don’t recommend this place at all because it's overpriced. I felt a rip-off in front of my face. They don’t care about the customer. All they want is the MONEY. When we die, nobody will have even a dollar in our pockets. They will overcharge you so make sure everything is explained in detail. I brought all the parts I needed in order to be fixed. I had to fix the rear axle and the driveshaft. Also I buyed the serpentine belt as well because my car was making squealing noises. After two days I was called to pickup my car. I paid $ 1000. I drove it in the highway and almost killed me. The car was swerving and I couldn't control it. I went back to progressive auto care at 11908 Elam Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180. And they told me all is fine and there's nothing else that they could do. So I have to send my car to another auto repair shop located in mesquite TX, and after the inspection I was told that the parts are still the old ones that are broken and the parts hasn't been changed and if I would have driven my car for another day my car would have loose control as it was swerving left and right and would have killed me. Plus the serpentine belt was cutted in half and was ready to break. The progressive auto care located in balch spring TX they didn't replaced the new parts including the serpentine belt that was broken in half. I have to purchase all the parts and to fix my car from the beginning. I wouldn't recommend this horrible place. You been warned.

I have been doing business with Jeff at Progressive for 10+ years. He has always been honest with me and exceeded my expectations. They are always honest and fair. Several times I took a vehicle to them expecting to pay for a major problem only to find out that it was something minor. I have never had a bad experience with them but I'm certain if I did they would work with me to make it right.

I have been dealing with the these people for over ten yes. I use to believe they where honest, God fearing people. The last few years they have change my opinion. I took my van in for major front end work. I got a quote and then researched it extensively. They where over a $100 less then anyone. I verified their quote with them then let them fix it. They did a good job. When I picked it up I was told sorry his son had miss quoted the price of the part. They charged me 110 more before I could get my keys. I just took my car up there and told them what it was doing and that I thought it was the fuel pump. their exact words were :worst case scenario it would cost $380:. When I went to get it. They told me it would be $552 because it took THEM 2 hours to figure out what was wrong with it. So just be prepared to pay at the very least $100 more then there quote . also they had my car for 4 days. Friends even saw them in it broken down on the street. They put over 15 miles on my car. It now has major scratches form a bush or something on the drivers side that they claim no knowledge of. I also found something plastic in my seat. First they did not even know what it was. Then they said it went to the battery and I did not need it. That it was trash.I know for a fact that they never even unhooked the battery because all my stations were still set. I will never be going back. I was warned. Next time I will listen.

Everything about this business is professional. Jeff, the owner, always take his time to go over things with me to assure that I understand. I feel safe and not taken advantage of when I go to him. I bypass the dealership sometimes just to go to him. If I tell him that I’m going on a long road trip, he always tell me to bring the car in so he can check everything on it. I’ve had some horrible experience with a couple of mechanics but that’s not the case here.

I took my SUV to the Guys at Progressive Auto, I was hesitant at first, of course, because I'm a woman that knows nothing about cars ( I just drive) & some auto shops try to get over on my kind.. Progressive was nothing like that. I dropped my SUV off this morning 9am, barely running.. They had my baby running perfectly around 3pm. Not only did they keep me updated on the problems and solutions, but the price of labor was reasonable as well. They took Great of me, I would definitely recommend this Auto shop to Anyone in need of Service 💯

I take my truck and my wife's car here anytime we have car issues and Jeff has always been so helpful and honest about fixing our cars. Definitely the only mechanic that I trust. Very honest, reasonable prices, and exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend.

They are not honest people there. I went there for a second opinion on an oil leak and they kept me there for an hour just to pretend that it was taking that long while at the other mechanic shop it took them 3 MN to tell me what the problem was and never ask me for a pennie. Then when they realized that I was not going to have them fixe it right away and there, he said that i had to pay 45 dollars. Then after complaining about them not letting me know up front about that charge, he lowered it to 30 dollars. They are money hungry, their prices are way too hight and the owner is very fake always pretending to be a man of God, but that is just a facade as he is the biggest thief and lier. I would not recommend this place at all.

I love my mechanic shop!! They are very nice and will show you every step of the way what is wrong with your car. You are always greeted with a smile and Jeff is utterly amazing. I WILL NEVER take my car anywhere else as long as his doors are open.

I trust no other people to take care of my car. They are trustworthy and I never feel as a women that they are trying to get over on me. The only down fall is that they are busy and you always have to driop your vehicle off. It will never get looked at the same day since they are so busy but they always do great wirk. This is my forever shop. If they ever closed I wouldn't know what to do.

I've gone once before a few years back. They did a good job on my pick up. Just dropped an f150 off for a leak repair. Mr. Jeff did a great introductory job. Took a look at my truck, informed me that there were a few cars infeont of mine so it would be a day or 2 till he gets to it. I Was fine with that, he let me park the truck there till it's time came. Looking forward to getting muh truck fixed and back on the road. Will give another review after that. 🙏

I may have left a review for Progressive, but I don't care. I can't say enough good things about Progressive. We've used them for a few years. This is the only garage I have ever trusted. Jeff never sells us a service or parts we don't need. Just had our brakes done the other day. He (or rather his shop) only replaced the pads because that's all we needed. So many other places tell you that they have to replace the drums also. Jeff has saved us so much money over these last few years. Super honest and everyone who works there is always so nice. I would recommend Progressive to anyone. I trust them 100%

Jeff is amazingly honest he explained everything he was doing in great detail. He is, well there's no words to describe how wonderful he is. Progressive is the best! Moved from Mesquite and had a car issue that could not be solved by the mechanics near my husband and I. Its been 4 months...literally taking every penny from us. I kept having to bug my husband to take our car to Progressive since that's where we used to go for many years but he was hesitant now that we are an hour and a half away in Keller and didn't want to make that drive. After our last diagnostic with a different mechanic near us, I wasn't set on the solution given to us so I begged my husband to take it to Progressive before we proceed. He finally agreed to take it during Christmas break. We know it's obviously busy here so we knew they wouldn't be able to tell us the issue right away. We gave them a couple of days and Jeff called us and explained to my husband what the issue was. Completely different from what we were told from the other mechanic. We were a bit hesitant at first because of all the trauma from the others but we went ahead and trusted Progressive to go ahead and order the part that was needed. Took a few days for it to come in but when it did. Our problems were gone. Jeff was able to diagnose what was wrong to the TEE! He fixed all our issues with our car. He even showed us a printed breakdown of the diagram to physically show us exactly what was going on and how it came about it. It truly like a science. He is a God send! Even though we are far now, this place is as honest as it's going to be and the pricing is reasonable compared to what we were being charged in the area we live now. So from now on my husband says we are just going to Progressive. No questions asked. After 10 plus years they haven't let us down. Jeff and his team are the best. They will never steer you wrong.
