I was having some exhaust issues in my Buick and a friend recommended R&L to me. I’m unbelievably thankful that they did. Upon hearing the issues I was having, my car was on the lift within two minutes. I was expecting to be told roughly what day to come back only to find out that they were working on it already. I didn’t even have to leave, and within a short time was back on the road. They were very clear about what was going on and did an amazing job. If you’re reading Google reviews to try to figure out where to take your car for exhaust work, stop reading and drive to R&L. They are more than fair and exactly what you hope to find when you go in for repairs.

I came into R&L Muffler with a leaky exhaust (my flex joint was disintegrated) and left with a silent and incredibly well-repaired exhaust. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area needing exhaust services. This saved me a ton of money by replacing just the damaged/faulty sections and they got me in and out quickly. MAKE THIS SHOP YOUR FIRST CHOICE Traveling through Clearwater needed a catalytic converter I got one online and after reading the reviews of R&L I decided to take it there they were pretty busy so they said I could have an appointment at 10:00 the next day I arrived at 10:00 they pulled me right in had it done in under an hour very very affordable wonderful people very nice at the counter the welder mechanic was super nice definitely recommend.

My husband found this shop after many denied calls to other places saying they wouldn’t weld my Jeep’s muffler but needed to replace the entire thing. They do good installation work and were friendly at first, but the customer service completely changed when I came back with an issue. They replaced my catalytic converters on their recommendation, but I kept getting the same codes. My mechanic later confirmed the new cats were the wrong universal type for my 2009 GMC Yukon, which needs OEM or direct-fit parts. I offered to pay the difference for the correct ones, but Lynne refused and got defensive, insisting “all cats are the same.” Disappointing experience—clean work but poor accountability. Now I have to pay for a third set just to fix it right.

We had a traffic cone encounter which mangled the 3" muffler on our motorhome. Unfortunately R&L doesn't have a big lift to do RV engine/header work, but gave us a quick diagnostic and recommendations where to inspect. At home we verified the headers were not damaged but still needed post header adjustments, welding, and all the pipe redone after the muffler. We took the RV back down at RL, where they got the exhaust up nice and tight (so hopefully we can avoid more issues), welded, and fixed a few areas we even forgot to mention when we took it in. The service was outstanding, they did quick work and it looks ten times better than it did before our traffic cone incident. Would recommend them to anyone needing some muffler help!
