Hands down the best place to have your car serviced in Portage/Kalamazoo area. We have been using R&T for some time now. No matter the scope of what is being done from tire rotation, oil change or a major repair, it has been an excellent experience. Very quick and efficient and priced better than the competitors. R&T Auto Repair has been family owned for decades and that sets them apart from the big conglomerates. They truly epitomize what great customer service should look like. Angie, most recently took care of me and was extremely courteous, professional and communicated with me every step of the way. An added bonus was we got our vehicle back 2 days before it was promised!! I just can’t say enough on how happy we have been with this shop! Absolutely top notch. I unequivocally recommend!!

People are mostly friendly their work is usually good they provide good service their work is usually done right and your happy when you get your car done and back if there's a problem they fix it if they need to be picked up they do it for free they're a great place to go and I'd like to go there every time I need work on my vehicle I recommend it

Being a woman, vehicle repairs are always difficult for me to navigate, either not knowing which repairs are necessary or even what they mean. Being greeted by a female (shout out to Morgan) working in the automotive industry was a plus for me from the start! Having true and honest guidance as to which repairs my vehicle needed now and which repairs could wait made me feel comfortable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came to R&T Auto after another shop overquoted me, and I’m so glad I did! Morgan was super welcoming the moment I walked in and really made me feel heard. They took the time to explain what needed fixing right away for safety and what could wait for later, which I really appreciated. Jeff was amazing—he even went on a test drive with me driving so he could listen to the issues and I could explain what was going on. Honest, friendly, and professional service. Highly recommend!

!!!THEY NEVER REMOUNTED MY ENGINE!!! Last year they fixed my transmission and never remounted my engine then failed to call me back when I called. I ONLY came back to get a better price to get the transmission re-fixed after a specialist said "it broke from something heavy hitting it... probably the engine". Terrible, Kept my car for over 2 weeks and didn’t want to let me know when it was going to be be done then CHARGED me $100 more than quoted:) PROCEED WITH CATION!!

I brought my car in because I had a problem with the dummy lights that another place couldn't fix. They took no time at all finding the problem and fixing it. Don't take your car somewhere just because it's close or you're related to them! Lol! Take it where it's going to be fixed right. This isn't the first time they have taken care of my vehicle and fixed what others missed! Everyone here is nice, and so helpful. Best place for car service!!

Not great. Had my Audi there for servicing an issue with a leaking axel seal. Took all day to get an estimate. Brought it in a few days later for the work after the part arrived. Later that day they called to say there's a lot more work than expected, and they would not be able to fix the problem after all. There's no excuse for the tech not putting in any effort to figure out they couldn't do the work ahead of time. Would be one star if not for the nice folks up front.
