Best Transmission shop in the Central Valley!!! Erica was on point and knows the value of customer service!! They had my Tahoe towed to the shop at no charge and had my Tahoe's transmission (6L80E) rebuilt in 3 days. At Ralph's they back it up with a 3 year 100k mile warranty for peace of mind!! As a business owner myself I understand customer relations and getting the job done right the first time is #1 priority and they nailed it!!

I was recommended Ralph’s Transmission from a friend. They offered a courtesy in-town tow, kept great communication throughout the process of figuring out what was wrong, had to order the part and had it all done within 48 hours or so. I didn’t have to leave work to handle my starter issue and I feel they gave me a very honest fair price! Definitely will return in the future.

Super clean shop, quick appointment, and friendly staff. Scheduled a routine transmission and 4x4 differential service. I saved over half of what I was quoted by the Chevy dealer. Really nice ladies up front offered to call an Uber for me. I nicely declined, and my dog and I did the 3-mile walk home. We stopped for sniff breaks and got great random photos of Modesto.

These guys are great. I took my motorhome in for service and check the check engine code. The shop informed me it was a transmission code and referred me to Ralph’s. We were leaving in a few days for trip. These guys diagnosed the problem and started that day to rebuild the transmission. The job was completed the next day so we could prepare for our trip. GREAT JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!

How to transmission put in my Toyota Tacoma by a year and a half ago at Ralphs Transmission. I had some issues with my torque converter called Mario. He said bring it in. It’s under warranty a week later a new torque converter was put in and I paid zero quality company Mario and his daughters and his mechanics do a wonderful job and they stand behind their product. Highly recommend Ralphs Transmission

I highly recommend Ralph's to solve your transmission service needs. My van drives better than ever. Ralph's Transmission gave me the best possible attention and service money can buy. My transmission burned up driving up a mountain. Three other mechanics wouldn’t touch my transmission. I believe that transmission building and repair is the brain surgery of the automotive world. This might sound hard to believe but I had my van towed 100 miles just so Ralph’s could handle the repair. Ralph’s backs their transmission with a 3-year warranty, which made me feel a lot better. I asked them a lot of questions. A LOT! This was .a huge investment for me, and I only want to do it ONCE. Since I depend on my vehicle for my business, I needed a compete and lasting solution. If I was to spend the money to repair it, I needed it done right and I needed a SUPER-DUTY transmission. Mario and the entire staff explained in detail what I needed to properly repair my transmission. They were even able to diagnose the cause of the failure. They completely rebuilt my transmission instead of slapping Band-Aid on the problem. They communicated with me about the type of parts going into my transmission and they guided me into making decisions about using heavy-duty parts. I’ll update my post with anything new. Bonus: The Taco truck at Ralph’s makes delicious food.

Such an amazing experience! Our truck was diagnosed on Wednesday and ready on Friday! Yvette and Bri were both so helpful and thorough with explaining everything. It gave us so much peace of mind going with Ralph’s. I understand that a transmission is going to be expensive but having that 3 year 10,000 mile warranty makes it all worth it to know they will stand behind their work. We will continue to go to Ralph’s and recommend them to all of our friends and family.

Got my transmission flushed after my car was experiencing shudder issues. Spoke to Mario and was able to get in right away and get the service completed the same day (even though they were busy and had a power outage in the middle of the day). Friendly staff and everyone is really knowledgeable. They diagnosed my car for free, then performed the recommended service for a reasonable price. I definitely saved money compared to what the dealership was charging. Time will tell how the car performs long term, but Mario and his staff get an A+ for being great and providing excellent customer service.
