I was trained as a journeyman mechanic before moving on to my dream job as a firefighter. Wherever I can't, or shouldn't, attempt a repair on my vehicles, Rasmussen Auto is my go to shop. We have gone to Rasmussen Auto Repair since 1980. They have serviced all of our vehicles and also two RVs. It has been a positive experience. Really peace of mind when we know we trust Rusty and also Ron before Rusty became the manager. The costs have been consistently fair and reasonable. They know what we need when we take our vehicles to them as they keep good records for us. Take your vehicle and find out how well they do. I was in a pinch with my older camper van and Rasmussen had me covered. I trusted them the moment I called them up, so much so that while driving over, my van ran into a totally different engine issue and they were able to accommodate and reprioritize without hesitation. My singular experience with Rasmussen Auto Repair was both excellent and unfortunate. My car was irreparable, and they delivered the devastating news in an informative and compassionate manner, after having thoroughly tested for the failure. It took a fair amount of effort just to do the diagnosis, but they did it properly, and their charges were completely fair. If I had taken my car to Rasmussen's shop - instead of the shop that misdiagnosed it but still sold me $1000 worth of work that didn't solve the problem - I have no doubt I'd still have my car, and people I could trust to keep it running in top shape. Their facilities, and especially their staff, are top notch. They also helped me arrange to have my car-shaped brick towed to my home. Hye-way Towing treated me with exceptional service and warmth, at a great rate. When I find another car, I will definitely be calling Rasmussen for future maintenance and repair.

After using the same mechanic for about 35 years, he retired. Good for him but sad for his customers. Next shop, which I was happy with, then also closed due to the owner's retirement. Next shop did the same after 1 visit. Frustrating. Next shop was ok until they got a new service writer that made me feel like I was at a dealership. Hard upsell effort! I took my motorhome to Rasmussen as they were recommended by a motorhome repair service. Happy with the motorhome service and impressed with the professionalism of the operation at Rasmussen. Took my 2016 Honda Pilot in for some overdue (per the manual) maintenance. The services rendered were significant so the cost was also significant....but not unreasonable or uncompetitive in my opinion. If professional work at a fair price without getting sold on unnecessary work is your goal, I believe Rasmussen's will fit that purpose.

I took my RV into Rasmussen to have the fluids changed after a long trip into Canada. The work was EXCELLENT and VERY REASONABLE too, they also did a thorough check up on it. There were a few little things needed, the In-Dash AC needed a little attention. (Control issues) I highly recommend them.
