Jean and Rich were very friendly, HONEST, and thorough... the technicians on staff do quality work and followed up after the job to assure that I knew exactly what and why the repairs were done.. I would recommend Ray Walsh Auto for all your repairs... and they beat the prices of the other places on Rt65, locally, that I shopped by 50% cheaper

I thought we had gotten a good car at Ray Walsh's Auto sales. Purchased a 2007 Subaru with a 3 year warranty from CARS Protection Plus, or so we thought. Not once but twice the power steering pump has gone bad since purchasing the vehicle. The first time and now the second time we have tried to use the warranty the warranty company informed us he never turned the paperwork or money in. We have now informed the attorney general's office about the fraudulent practices.

I had the worse experience of my life. I call they said they can take a look at my car on Monday my car was not starting so they referred me to a tow guy they have. I live about 4 blocks away the tow truck charged me 60.00. It is now Thursday and they are telling me they have not looked at my car yet and is it possible for me to tow it to another place. This was a waste of my time money lost paying for other transportation now paying for a different tow guy.WTH i a furious. They are not professional this is not good business. Ray Walsh sucks and if they could not do the job they should not have took the car i spoke to them before i had it towed and they assured me they can do immediately.

Ray has great priced autos. He was very pleasant to do business with. If i am in need of another auto or a friend is he will be the first (and probably only) place i will go. Highly recommend this place.

The so called woman who works here is extremely rude! They have had my suv for going on three weeks now and never communicated anything to us. Apparently this lady is the only mechanic? I’m not sure, we get a different answer every time WE call. Finally my fiancé got ahold of her and she had nothing but attitude! We were just about to pay 800+ dollars to have our suv fixed. Well before I spend my hard earned money on a disrespectful, no class having, ignorant WOMAN, I’ll go elsewhere. They really should reconsider who they have running their shop. She claims to be the owner, what a joke she is.

I have taken my cars to Ray Walsh (and Rich and Jean) for 13 years. It’s the only place I have ever dealt with in 60 years of car ownership that has never tried to “screw” me. I fixed a lot of cars in my younger days and I pretty much know what’s wrong with a car when I bring it there, and what needs to be done

I moved to Pittsburgh and this shop was recommended to me by a neighbor. I came from a family of mechanics and found that I am treated respectfully and found Rich and Jean to be quite honest when it comes to what maintenance is necessary and the pricing is reasonable for the quality of work provided. At this time I cannot see myself going to another shop in the area.

Got me in and out when i needed my air conditioner recharged. Once I needed just an oil change or so I thought. They just so happen to check over the whole car for me and noticed the rod that my tires go on in the front, was bent. They ordered me another and replaced it so that my car was even safer. Thank you!!

Fast and anytime I have used them my vehicle is done the same day. Also very friendly staff, fare prices and honest which in my opinion is rare to find an honest mechanic. I highly recommend there services to have work done on your vehicle.

Please do not go here! Don’t trust your car with them either. They have a new mechanic every month there. They find new problems to your car and then want to charge you an arm and a leg for the parts and labor. I repeat don’t go here their a joke and rude.

Best garage around. Always upfront and fair. I sometimes will ask if I need some preventive maintenance done. Their reply often is if it isn't broken don't fix it. How many garages tell you that. I been going here for at least 10 years. And if they can't fix it they will tell you.

Worst incompetent mechanic repair shop I have EVER been too. Not only did they do my inspection backwards but they just find ways to make money instead of caring about their customers. Didn’t even mention your eligible For an exemption sticker for inspection and then they try to find any tiny detail on your car so they don’t pass your inspection. Lady in the office is not professional and very rude. Rich just sits there and adds numbers so you can pay extra for parts and they can become rich off peoples car. I understand you make your profit with labor, but it’s not even a decent price for labor cost it’s double, they charge an arm and a leg on labor alone it’s sad. How are your customers going to come back to your shop for more service when your ripping them off ? ….. DONT TRUST YOUR CAR HERE, no wonder their always looking for mechanics to hire because their not professional with their customers I can only imagine how they treat their employees. Goodluck with your company and anyone who goes here goodluck & beware

Never seems to have inspection stickers on hand, but sure takes your money for the inspection. Love getting ticketed because "he's waiting on them." The atmosphere in the shop is atrocious and uninviting. I can understand how they struggle to keep good mechanics on staff.

Our mechanic in Bellevue passed away, so we looked around. My Dad's elderly gf bought a car here, gets her car inspected here. Always fair pricing, good repairs, good service. My Dad and I now go there. Not many small honest shops around nowadays, Walsh is one for sure

I purchased a Durango from them for ten thousand cash their total asking price which was supposed to have no issues at all I even have a video of them saying so they sent me. Then I showed up over an hour away mind you turns out that they didn't even have the title so had to wait to take the vehicle home. Then they had to do the "inspection and emissions" which were illegally passed once I finally got to take it from the lot I didn't even make it home and got hit with three codes on the dash. And a completely rotted resignatior so they fixed the exhaust which turned out to be way more then they thought and basically left me hanging. so had to take my brand new ten thousand dollar SUV into a mechanic which informs me that my emergency brake is non existent and a whole list of other things that several that does not pass inspection. not to mention the slummy atmosphere at both their lot and their service center believe me your better off walking

On May 16, 2024, I had my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer towed to Ray Walsh Auto by AAA. I rode with him, and I provided the serpentine belt, because I knew it was needed. I took photos of AAA as they parked it across the street from the shop in the residential neighborhood. I would call for an update, Reggie stated that they had started my vehicle and I needed a fuel pump and water pump. So, get a ride after hours to see if the vehicle had been moved. And it hadn't. I looked, my hood was ajar, the passenger front tire was completely flat, all my doors and hatch were unlocked and the battery was dead. So I called the next morning and spoke with Reggie. I asked for an update he tells me I was looking at $1200 to $1500. I asked him, who had my key and he said, He Did. As I was recording the conversation, so I said, why was my vehicle left unlocked, battery dead, tire flat and hood left ajar? He says Oh was it? So, I wasn't pleased with that at all. I waited a few days, went back, same condition. I called the BBB, and they have a D+ rating. So, again, I'm searching for somewhere to move my vehicle, as the older lady I think Gene, says for me to come get my vehicle. The Lies, the negligence of not making sure the vehicle was locked up, she said they would charge the battery and put air in the tire so it could be moved, and, they never did. My vehicle sat there well over a month with the Opportunity for someone to go in my vehicle. I had to hand lock the doors. But the back was still unlocked. SMH. I have photos and witnesses to back this up. And I was paying the Jitney Driver $15 to $17 to go check on my vehicle. They don't deserve a star at all. But, I have to in order to post.

Just want to BRING THIS TO ANY CUSTOMER trying to go here. Rays auto USED (past) to be a reliable, trustworthy and respected car service center. I am telling you now do not take your car here . There is a man sitting at the phones who has no clue what his is doing and is making all the decisions involving the vehicles. Just for context I will keep it short Car was brought in because my check engine light was on… car was taken there and within two days I was called by the man on the phones stated my car was in PERFECT condition and that I just needed to drive my car for 3 days so the light would go off as they center reset the codes. BOOM car broke down on the highway. They said they performed a state inspection in which my car passed. They never gave me the stickers I had to show up with the police. I towed it back to Rays after it broke down on the highway for them to tell me they didn’t have a single clue what was going on… car sat there in the parking lot for 5 days WITHOUT EVEN BEING BROUGHT INTO THE SHOP to be looked at. I went to just get my keys because I was going to get my car towed away from there. That is the short story. Don’t go there please save your car. If I could give zero stars that is what would be given they get 1 by default

I took my car in for a choking/hesitation when I accelerated and also hearing my rear brakes (front was just changed a week prior).. I was told that the choking/hesitation was just my air filter. Well.. it was NOT just my air filter as I am STILL feeling the choking/hesitation even just hours after I had gotten my car back. Also.. you’d think they’d let you know if they found anything else noticeable, they’d tell you? No.. I also need a serpentine belt. As for my brakes.. I was told they were fine.. But yet as soon as I pulled off the lot, I still heard them! CLEARLY THEY WERE NOT FINE!!! I needed pads, rotor AND caliper on my drivers side rear! DO NOT GO TO RAY WALSH!!
