So so so happy with my service at Stutz. My car had a check engine light on and started leaking, Stutz got it fixed fast and was very affordable. I also really appreciated them explaining what was wrong and what they were going to do to fix it. Often times as a woman mechanic shops don’t bother explaining anything which really sucks so i really appreciates that at Stutz. Will definitely take my vehicle there for maintenance, etc.

Too bad this is no longer Stutz auto service. More than just the name has changed. Took my cars to Stutz for many years. Stutz was family owned and operated. The new place is just a corporate entity. I bought a starter from Advanced Auto Parts. Then I decided that replacing it was a bigger job than I wanted to do. Advanced Auto Parts won't take it back since they are going out of business and all sales are final. Called RGV Tire Pros to see if they would install it. I was told, "They will only let us install our own parts." Time to find a new auto repair shop.

I went in to get my AC checked and they took care of me well. After some bad experiences at other shops, it’s hard for me to trust they won’t try to overprice or do unnecessary things to make money. Here I felt I could trust them. They explained everything and I’m glad I brought it here for service. Their prices are fair and reasonable. My car has 255k miles on it and I will def keep bringing my car here for maintenance. Talk to George he will take care of you.

Worst place ever since they changed owners, used to take my care there all.the time back when it used to be stutz auto an never had a problem but recently I've taken my car there four times for the same problem and still haven't gotten the problem fixed. Everytime I take me car they tell me its something else charging over 1000 dollars each time and as soon as I bring the car home the same issue I took it in to start with is still there. Would give them a zero if I could.dont recommend

Horrible experience! Bad to no communication. Took it in for a job, picked it up at the end of the day. Later that night, I found out job was not done, still not working. Took it back on Monday, they told me it would take a few hours to fix.....it was there ALL WEEK! Even after all that, they charged me again for the work they did not do the first time. NEVER bring my vehicles back again!

Definitely a shop that scraps entire systems instead of troubleshooting. I believe they are under new ownership (RGV tire pros) but kept the name “Stutz” and the 4.3 stars on google. The short: I had a failed O-ring seal in my AC system. This shop wanted to needlessly replace the entire AC system including compressor, condenser, and lines for 1800$. The long: I had an O-ring on my A/C fail and the issue was obviously that (UV dye the same shop had put in the system confirmed it via black light. I let reception know this). I was charged 330$ to change two schrader air valves and recharge the system. These parts changed were nowhere near the actual visible and detectable leak was. All the Freon was gone by the time I went to pick the car up. When I informed them, they deemed the compressor bad and wanted $1800 for scrapping the system and installing it new, even though the black light reveals where the Freon leak is. Unacceptable.

They always take great care of my granddaughter’s car , She never hesitates to call on any concern she might have , they will check it out and make sure she is safe on the road❤️ Very friendly and respectful , they will fix any automotive problems you might have in less time than any dealership in town! Unhappy with the lack of transparency, customer service and pricing here. They charged $125 for checking the vehicle’s check engine signal. I went to another mechanic who charged $25 for the same scan. I went two hours before the business closed on a Friday for a procedure that ultimately took them 15 minutes to complete. I was told they had about two cars before me and said they’d get to it before the weekend. Instead of calling me to notify me they had not serviced my car and would keep it during the weekend, I had to go in person and ask. I agreed to leave it there over the weekend. Monday came and two hours after they opened I called. They still hadn’t gotten to it. Again, I went to the shop in person and confirmed they hadn’t gotten to it yet. I said I no longer wanted the inspection. Someone immediately took the car around the block and initiated the service I expressed I no longer wanted. It took them 15 minutes to perform a routine check they stretched out to four days. The manager or owner said he was sick and came in late that Monday as an explanation of the delay. That’s understandable. It’s unacceptable to neglect to call twice and notify the customer of the delays. It’s dishonest to hear a customer’s request to stop the work and perform the unwanted service over that expressed protest. I went there when it was Stutz. I am no longer confident in their service and do not plan to return. Do not recommend.

I am a car fanatic, if you are, then you know how important it is to have your vehicles serviced, and back in the road in the most professional and efficient manner. For years I’ve struggled and delayed services to my vehicles due to uncertainty and concerns. A good friend desperately needed his truck fixed and well, I thought I’d give the team there at Tire Pros a try. The previous owner had in fact handled my exotic car perfectly, but that was over 25 yrs ago. I figured, if they are still there, they must be doing something right. That day I made the best decision ever. Excellent service, they all went way above and beyond my expectations. Not only did they take care of my friends truck air bags, but I ended up taking my Mercedes for brake service. I’ll say superior service, 5 stars. The dealerships had never met my expectations and always over charged. This was straight forward, good honest business. I finally have a place to take my vehicles, eventually my friends and family will end up there too. Thank you Danny, and your amazing team! God speed

All I Gotta say is wow! Very rarely do you get such a great welcoming from a manager staff owner at a mechanic shop for George, you outdid yourself this time. George is very informative charismatic helpful, all the bays are full, mechanics are hard at work, courteous and professional. Definitely a local auto shop you should come and check out. This is also a official vehicle inspection station to include a variety of different fixer-upper‘s. George and his crew will get you what you need when you need it at a fair price and with a great smile and attitude. Definitely a must stop in place.

Sandra was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about what the problems could be, she spoke very clearly and wasn’t shy or afraid to say whether or not she believed the problem could be fixed. I didn’t personally interact with Samantha, but I watched her work while I was there, and I felt compelled to leave this review. She was constantly moving, focused, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. You could see her work ethic from a distance. She handled the job with confidence and professionalism, and it was honestly admirable to watch. She may be small in stature, but she works with big determination and skill. It’s not often you see someone take that much pride in their work, and it really stood out to me. Good job Samantha !
