As long as this shop is open and ran by Alfredo and his son, i will never go to another mechanic. It's been 8 or more years since we started going to them with our personal vehicles and also made them our commercial vehicle mechanic as well. They are honest, straight forward and 2nd to none in Stockton. If any family or friend has a automotive issue, "Well i know someone who can help" is the first thing i say.. And they have NEVER disappointed. You just cant find service like this anymore these days. Thank you Alfredo for all that you do.

Hands down most honest mechanic ive ever used. Ive had upwards of 50 mechanics in my life. 3 were good AND honest. Allredo and his son are both honest and very good at what they do. My father was a mechanic so i know what BS to look for. Ive used alfredo for about 10 years now. Alfredo is as honest as the work day is long. This review is way overdue. They like the classics also. Dont be afraid of the clutter, thats all automotive gold! lol

Senior citizens be aware of this place I took my truck in there spent about $1,000 on a rear end I have a four-wheel drive truck they changed that rear end I never tried the four-wheel drive on my truck until I got ready to sell the truck when I put the truck into gear the rear wheel would skip every time it would rotate so I took it to another shop to see what was wrong they told me that they put the wrong rear end in the truck The gears do not match I went back to that place told them that they put the wrong rear end in my truck they told me to come back the next day so I did when I come back the next day he just told me too bad that they don't have anybody there well enough to work on the truck they said it was a heavier end and they needed more people and who they had was sick they did not deny messing up the work in the first place but they did refuse to fix it they told me not to even come back in the future I am disabled older senior citizen I spent a lot of money on that truck in there and they shot me down refused to fix it at the time I did not know what they had done to my truck went back again in the future and had them replace the catalytic converter when they did they got too much gas in the pipe and exploded the muffler they also blew that muffler up but at the time I did not even go back to them I had somebody else fix it. Too bad there was nothing more than just a one I could give them they deserve a minus 100 had is very dirty to take advantage of older people I would not recommend this place to anybody not even my worst enemy

I was referred by a friend to Richardsons garage. The mechanic Alfredo and his brother got right on my Dog Grooming van that was over heating intermittently when I drove it over 40 mph. They changed the thermostat, water pump and electric fan and rodding out the radiator to help insure I dont have another over heating issue for a long time. They did everything fast. It wasnt an all day deal. Alfredo and his brother explained everything to me in laymens terms so I understood what was being done. I live in Amador county so they let me wait for my van while they worked on it. They have 2 guard dogs they let me play with while they worked on my van. I ended up washing both dogs while they worked on my van. Their dogs are treated like family.
