I don’t do reviews normally but seeing I was broken down one evening and found Ricks Auto online. His shop was about 2 miles away from where my car was stuck. I left a voice mail and before I can “Uber” it home he calls me back and not 20 minutes later, comes and “diagnoses” my car on the spot; again on his own time. Now my ride is a “fixer-upper” of a car and I knew I’d be sinking some money in to it but Rick has made the whole experience just short of painless on the wallet... I’m under my planned repair budget by far considering how much money I blew at the last repair shop I went to that clearly had commissioned reps behind the counter.... I’m so over that B.S.. And Rick is very professional and pro-active about not only cost reduction... you don’t have to be a car guy to see he treats each job as if he is working on his own ride. Now after being to his shop a few times for unrelated jobs, I’m of the opinion that Rick is a “Master Craftsman” that just happens to fix vehicles exceptionally and for what feels like “wholesale” compared to other shops! Kudos

I just took my pickup down to Rick for diagnostics and he was great. He was completely transparent and showed me everything he was doing, including searching for parts and looking up diagnostic codes. He didn't talk down to me or make me feel dumb for being a woman, as unfortunately still happens in these circles. He gave me a more than reasonable quote for the job. The best experience I’ve had at the mechanics! Rick is an honest businessman and extremely knowledgeable mechanic. I was having issues with my coil overs and also wanted to get my spark plugs replaced. He finished the work faster than expected and priced everything out fairly. Rick was a pleasure to work with. He works by appointment only…but he was kind enough to fit me in same day without an appointment. Rick’s clearly a car expert and has VERY fair pricing. Nice not to have to wait in a cramped waiting room. He took detailed photos of the issues with my car, and provided great insight into the issue and others my car was having (without being pushy about repairing the other issues). You feel like he cares, because he does!

DO NOT TRUST. He will drive your vehicle for personal use which resulted in water damage to the interior of my vehicle. He left the windows down when it was raining and lost the key!
